45 Parks near Webster, Florida
Nov 2013 - $15.00
Rate reflects a month long stay. This is more of a manufactured home park versus an RV park, and it is not an RV resort as advertised. It does have a great pool and clubhouse. There are some activities, but unless you are a regular, it is not very inviting. We had planned on staying for the winter but wound up leaving early to find another park that was more accommodating. We choose this park because it was close to pretty much all major attractions (within an hour), and we have friends at this park, and it is also close to family and friends in the area. The staff was not overly friendly when we arrived and seemed to not have a good handle on reservation check in. This improved somewhat during our stay. Our site was a huge, grass site, and there was plenty of space front to back and side to side. However, we are pretty sure our site was designed for a mobile home. We had no cable or internet without having to purchase that separately. Some sites do have cable. All sites are back in or pull in. Can accommodate big rigs on most sites. Pet friendly but there is no dog park. For a long term stay this park would be fine for most people, I guess, but we did not find it warm and inviting enough to stay. We will not return to this park nor would we recommend this park; there are other options in the area that provide better service and put their guests first. - jnlo

This campground was very neat and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful swimming pool. Would definitely go there again. - smileyann45
Feb 2017 - $25.00
This site does not have a spot for people with a park model, My family has been in this park since the 90's. It has changed a bit over the years and the owners are attempting to make upgrades and improvements to make our stay there better. There are not many parks that can brag about having a pool, pool hall with two pool tables, TV, & nice showers. The long branch hall with a kitchen. The fire side restaurant and banquet hall and the Webster Flea Market around the corner. - Rouset224
Jan 2007 - $25.00
We stayed in this a month. Unfortunately we paid for a month upfront without looking at the site. They put us up against a waste treatment facility that they had in their park, it stank to high heaven the whole time we were there. Could not open our windows or sit outside the trailer. Also they had a perpetual burn fire going and on windy days we had to endure the smoke from that. From the road the park looks fine, mostly stationary mobile homes with older folks. The people were nice and friendly and the rest of the park was reasonable. However, we will never stay there again, I'm surprised the health dept. doesn't get on them about those conditions. If you choose to stay there check out your site beforehand, personally I would avoid the place. - miratig
Apr 2015 - $19.00
What a beautiful place. Big rig friendly with much room to maneuver. Spacious paved lots, huge clubhouse with separate library, wifi/media room, poker room, large pool and spa, horseshoes and shuffleboard areas as well. Very clean park and owners are welcoming. Not sure why others have stated they were not welcomed as renters. We went to pot luck last night and people actually moved over to make room for us at their table, would not let us sit alone. People next to us invited us over the 2nd day we were here. Have met many of the owners and they were just as nice as can be. You can feel the love for Florida Grande from the owners and listening to their stories of neighbors helping neighbors. There is a closeness here that is amazing. RVer's in general are very welcoming people but here it is even more than that. They are just a big family. Yes, there have been past issues but the new owners are trying to make things right. I wish them nothing but the best. If you want to have peace and quiet while camping, maybe you need to be here. - camper4u
Jan 2015 - $22.00
Rate reflects pay for one week second week free so over all very reasonable price. The roads are lovely paved, wide as are the sites many of which have attached guest sheds/pods. This resort is limited to Class A motor homes, so no tents or trashy looking trailers. Sewer, 50 amp, good water pressure, It really is lovely...that's the good news. But the rest of the story, we arrived during transition where the long time site manger left a few days after our arrival. This is a resident owned RV resort which is currently under its 3rd "developer" and the residents who originally bought in are unfriendly, they socialize with themselves and "transients" as they called us might as well be invisible. They resent non owners. We were given no information about anything nearby and really there is nothing. We went to another RV resort up the road to inquire and were welcomed and given information packets, had we not paid we would have moved. For those who want remote quiet amidst cows in pasture, this is the place; for me it was far too remote and too isolated. Driving away every day to shop and be with people even on country roads with limited traffic gets tiresome. There is no wifi at the sites, one must go to the building to connect. No cable TV, although we were told local channels came in, not so, fortunately we used our DISH. The pool & spa were not working nor heated our two weeks there. There are only 4 washers and driers and all do not work at the same time, although I was told only about 6 residents use them, I found that not to be true. The mail is just put out onto a table so no security unless you own a site and have a mailbox. There is a gate at the entrance and we were given that code to enter when we would return, but there is no security around at all which wasn't needed as it's so remote, but one wonders what would happen if security were needed . Many of the residents live there since founded so they know each other. As one admitted to me, "this is not a good place if you are traveling alone, because we ignore visitors." It proves that price and quality are not to be presumed by spacious sites alone. I would not be interested in returning. We visited with intentions of possibly buying but after our stay, and being ignored to insulted, it is not an option. Site management is badly needed. - Pat and Jerry
Jan 2014 - $15.00
Stayed at park from Nov. 2013 to end of Mar. 2014. Nightly rate is based on five month stay. Florida Grande is a beautiful park. Sites are very large and well landscaped. Park is management is very helpful. Owners association has many activities planned and renters are welcomed. My wife and I were treated just like we were one of the owners. I would give this park a 10 except for one reason. JUST TOO FAR from things we liked to do. 16 miles to closes fishing lake. 15 miles to nearest GOOD Golf Course. 25 miles to restaurants. Stayed in a motorhome. This is a Class A only park. - User3629
Jan 2017 - $22.00
Came back to this campground after being here 8 mo ago. This is the peak season, so the park was quite full. This is a different park during peak as there are so many activities and folks are very friendly. True, there is no wifi, no pool, no TV reception but there are dinners, breakfasts, crafts, computer classes, walking group, games, etc. Never a dull moment. The activity center is a nice space and has a library, pool table, TV room. They even have a dog "yappy" hour at the dog park. The only negative is that since this park is near a cow pasture, there is a manure smell in the air. We did see lots of birds, sand hill cranes, woodpecker, ibis and donkeys next door. Enjoyed our stay much more this time. - mohocamper
May 2016 - $23.00
This is an Escapees park so staff were very friendly. The park was mostly empty since it is not peak season. Sites are grass with concrete patio, mostly back-in with some pull-through. The activities room looked in need of some repair, but it was large, has a small book exchange, small dvd library, pool table, tv. There were no activities going on and I didn't see a swimming pool. They offer smart weigh and propane filling services. There is no wifi or tv reception. The park was quiet, shady with lots of birds. Not a resort campground, but nice. - mohocamper
Mar 2016 - $22.00
The sites are spacious and fairly easy to get into from the right direction but the roads are a little tight for big rigs. No OTA reception, no WIFI. AT&T wasn't strong but good enough to communicate.
The whole park seems to be suffering from benign neglect. The pool looks like it has been empty for years. The sites need gravel to mitigate mud puddles, and the electric and water hookups appear to be the original construction. Signs at the minimal dog park are hand lettered on cardboard and the fence needs repairing. There is a general air of "make do." That said, the setting is lovely. Lots of birds and other wildlife are around. We didn't see the resident alligator in the swamp that borders one side of the park but think we heard him at night. There is a small friendly donkey herd in an adjacent pasture that the dogs enjoyed.
Bushnell is a pretty good sized town with Walmart, Winn Dixie, etc.
Lots to do in the area, especially near Ocala. - bobcovey
Jun 2014 - $13.00
WiFi didn't work well, never could get on, but they're working on replacing with a better provider according to the manager. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the pool and bath house. Pool, bath house, and laundry were very clean. Not many people were there at the time. There were some fire ant hills. They treated with pesticide, and I don't really like having to walk around with pesticides on the grass (this is more a problem with the south, rather than with this particular park). Manager was a little gruff at first, but warmed up and was very nice and actually became chatty. Would return in the winter to see how active it is then. - badkitten
Oct 2013 - $12.00
Very disappointed in this park. Management hates their job and doesn't make you feel welcome. The grounds are very pretty. On the web site it states that the pool is heated - not! There is no Convenience store, as their web site states. The men's restroom was "out of order". The Wi-Fi did not work, and there is no cable. It seems that a lot of the people in the park are bickering among themselves. They must be full time residents. Can't wait to leave. - indian creeker RR
Nov 2011 - $13.00
Sites are very close together, you don't feel like sitting outside with the neighbors so close, at least we didn't. Some of the RV sites are right at the side of I-75 so there is a LOT of traffic noise. If you are on the other side of the park, you don't hear the road noise. The laundry is new, the park is situated on 20 acres of scenic state forest. There is a nice pool but wide open to everybody parked around it. Nice staff, very friendly and welcoming. Five miles from Florida's biggest flea market in Webster. - sparky59
Feb 2017 - $42.00
Love how the park is kept up so well and everything is so clean. Pool is big enough to swim laps. As mentioned, the sites are close together and no picnic tables. - sp123
Jan 2017 - $47.00
Really two parks. About 100 identical pull throughs in one area and another 300 back in sites on the other side of the clubhouse and pool. We stayed one night in a pull through. This area had black top roads and black top strips for the RV and car. The rest was grass. Very clean. Plenty of room, but not much privacy. Just a large flat field with grass and black top. Worked well for one night.
The 300 back in spaces had the long term residents. More landscaping. The RV's were all parked on grass, and each had a concrete patio. Seemed like plenty of room, but again not a lot of privacy. The main thing here seem to be the activities. Bocceball, pickleball, shuffle board, etc. A very large pool and a huge list of daily activities. - thyde
Jan 2017 - $45.00
Very clean park. The staff was great. Easy to navigate had no problem getting to and into my site with a 40 ft and towing. And as they advertise: Walmart is just across the road. They have a foot bridge over the ditch so that you can walk in a straight line to it.
Would rate a 10, but the sites are very close. - jamie1
Dec 2015 - $19.00
We only stayed here overnight during a long drive, so we didn't get to see the entire park or use most of the amenities. It is a huge RV Resort, with many park models but also a large area for RVs. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful, and we were escorted to our very long pull-through site. $19 (December special) for a full hookup 50 amp pull-through was perfect for our overnight stop. There is a large fenced dog park on site, with separate areas for large and small dogs. AT&T and Verizon worked well. Unfortunately we encountered two big downsides. First, the RV sites, at least the ones we saw, were right next to I-75 and the highway noise was some of the worst we've ever experienced. We would probably not return unless we could get a site pretty far from the interstate (which probably means it won't be $19). Second, the sites were mostly a sand/grass mix, and were full of sand spurs which made walking our dog a treacherous act. He got painful spurs in his paws several times and we got several in our fingers just while working around the RV. The park looks like it has a lot of potential, but unfortunately we'll have to think twice before returning due to these two drawbacks. - LifeRebooted
Nov 2014 - $18.00
Stopped for an overnight and arrived late. Followed signs to registration area and called the number posted. People came very quickly and guided us to our site. Nice long pull through. Long sewer run with toad hooked up but we didn't need it. Only drawback was that we didn't know what to do with trash. Saw someone picking up trash in a pickup truck so we left it at the site in the morning. Will stay again when in the area. Would not mind staying longer. - MissingLinc
Feb 2014 - $12.00
I wish I could rate this park higher than 7 but it could be so much better. We stayed here 2 winter(snowbirds) so far and have great friends here from all over so we return here. WiFi is available but not free. You must sign up with separate WiFi vendor and WiFi signal strength is poor even right next to the towers. We used our cell phone data plan as well as the near-by McDonalds free WiFi. I thought the office staff was not well informed and bordered on being rude at times. Some sites are close to I-75 and have lots of traffic noise. Bushnell is a small town in a rural area so sometimes you must drive a good way for some things. On the plus side there are many activities and music jams going on at this park and most other area parks. Overall this park offers a reasonable compromise between monthly price, warmth (in winter), and activities. - rdkeith
Feb 2016 - $10.00
Rate reflects monthly special. My wife and I have been RVing all over the country for the last year and this is one of the nicest parks we've stayed at. The park is always kept immaculately clean. The spaces are big and level. The common grounds are always well maintained and manicured. The restroom and showers are very clean and neat. It has a great exercise room, a big billiards hall, 3 swimming pools, a couple of very nice laundry facilities, shuffleboard and pickle ball courts.
The staff there were just great. I can't say enough nice things about them. They help with your setup and bend over backwards to help everyone staying there. They definitely made us feel very welcome.
I would highly recommend this park. - ssmmerhalski
Nov 2008 - $30.00
We stayed here for just one night while traveling around the state but would love to return here for a couple of months in the winter. The staff was friendly and we were escorted to our site. The bathrooms were clean and large, the grounds were lovely, and the entire place was very clean. The only negative was some distant road noise from the interstate - not really much of problem but you could hear the big trucks using their Jake brakes. There is a Wal-Mart just across the street. Access is easy for big rigs. - Kentucky Bette
Mar 2007 - $31.00
This park was large and had a variety of sites, many of which were seasonal. There were a lot of activities available including day trips arranged through the office (extra $). There were also park hosted music events (scheduled and impromptu), exercise classes, bingo, cards, quilt shows, dancing, church services. The majority of the people who stay here are retired, so there were few children around. Those who were there were likely visitors for short stays. There are 2 parks side by side, The Oaks and Red Barn RV Resort which was recently acquired by the owners of The Oaks. The Red Barn is much closer to I-75 and not as nice but is improving. The pools (3) are nice, heated, and there is a whirlpool at the one by the office. The jets were not working while we were here but the water was very warm and took the chill off. The down side to this park is that the Wi-Fi was horrible, not owned by the park, and not reliable. There was a $4 per day fee for little to no access. I guess you could go to the library at the park to get web access if you wanted to, we didn't. There is a super Wal-Mart across from the park so you can get groceries and miscellaneous other necessities without going far. Everything else is a drive to get to. We enjoyed ourselves here, would have liked a nicer site but it was OK. If I were going to stay longer than a few days, I would have liked to have more options for what site I stayed on. - P&G
