We stayed at Quail Run four nights. This is an excellent RV resort. The area is well maintained, gated and quite. The older side we were in has gravel parking areas with concrete patios. There we many large live oaks and palm trees. Many of the permanent resident sites had tropical trees, shrubs and flowers planted. The newer side has concrete parking slabs and patios. There are trees there as well, just smaller. The are many leisure opportunities provided and scheduled at the facility. We took advantage of their large library and traded our used books. We enjoyed our stay at Quail Run and would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park has come to our rescue as full time RVers twice in the past 6 years. We stayed 2 months both time for hospital visits and surgery in Tampa for my husband. This time they took us in at the very last moment during the height of the winter season. Although our site was not as nice as the first time we were here, I think it was the only one they had and it was more than adequate. The fact that it was right across from the laundry building and right next to I-75 made it bright and noisy at night. One side of the park is beautifully treed with live oaks & has gravel sites & paved patios. The other is more open & has larger sites fully paved. There is a resident pair of Sand Hill Cranes. A fantastic social coordinator plans activities & dinners where we met many of the very friendly folks who stay here. The park has a pool, a large wonderful library, billiards, ping pong puzzle tables with stacks of puzzles & two social halls for their activities. There are two bathrooms each with a shower. They are always spotless. I highly recommend this friendly park where things are clean and well organized and the office staff friendly and extremely helpful. Their motto is "No Rig Too Big" and from what I've seen, that's true. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for one night while headed to Naples. They were very efficient, and guided us to our spot, which was a convenient end site for our 45' motorhome. We came in a couple of days before Christmas, and were greeted warmly by residents as they held their light parade of decorated golf carts, passing out candy canes and cheer. The atmosphere was welcoming and cheerful. This is a very convenient location for a stopover, and nice enough to enjoy a longer stay. It's well-run, clean, and the residents create a neighborhood feel and include newcomers. I would recommend and we will stay here again. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed this time in the "new" section. We had reserved site 157, but when we arrived we were put into site 160. That would not have mattered, but 160 is smaller than 157 which made it tight for our car. The rate for a month is $800 plus electric, which ran a staggering $165 during October. We also bought 6 gallons of propane for which they charged $5 per gallon. Add to that the poor attitude of the office staff and it can make one want to shop around before returning to the area. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice rv resort. The pads are large concrete pads to accommodate big rigs. The utilities are located well and in good working order. The WI-FI works well in the rv. This park has an older heavily wooded area with a mix of park models and rv's and a newer RV area with Palms and nice landscaping. The staff is efficient and helpful and the people in the park were welcoming and friendly. We hope to return in the future. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is large campground with two distinct areas. North side, where we were assigned is mostly long-term campers and not very attractive. Sites were gravel/silt, but fairly level. No grass so rains make them messy. Lot of on-site amenities, but most were in poor condition. Stayed here to attend Tampa RV show. Did not explore surrounding area. Overall Rating:

Very quiet campground with some road noise from I-75 mostly only noticeable on the side up against the highway. Two main sections to the campground - the older part with gravel sites and grass between with lots of live oak trees and Spanish moss and the newer part with concrete sites, concrete patios and grass between the sites with minimal vegetation. Big rigs are better off in the newer part of the campground, however, with care, they can get into the sites in the older part of the park. Access roads are all asphalt with those in the newer part of the park wider than those in the older part. Sites were mostly level. Big rigs should use Wesley Chapel Rd to Old Pasco Rd (approaching the campground from the south). Coming in from the north via FL 52 to Old Pasco Rd there is a risk of scraping the ground at the turn for longer rigs. Old Pasco Rd itself is a narrow 2 lane (10' lanes) road with no shoulders. Power ok, water ok (60psi), sewer ok (note septic was in the gravel parking area covered by a metal plate - pretty much under the rig). Wifi blocks video streaming so bandwidth doesn't drop to nothing in the evenings. It also appears that some degree of censoring is being applied to non-video related content - e.g, IMDB was blocked, research on an Adobe Lightroom problem was blocked, and the iTunes store was blocked. Verizon 4 bars with adequate speed except in the evening. TMobile 1-2 bars (sometimes none) with usable speed. Satellite access depends on the site in the older part of the park, no issues in the newer part of the park. Recycles cans, cardboard, and paper on site. OK road bike riding in park (about a 1.5 mile loop), none adjacent to park. Good road bike trail within 30min drive (Suncoast Trail). We would stay here again. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

As newbies, this was our second place to stay in our 5th wheel toy hauler with patio. Well maintained and level concrete pad site. We had plenty of room. The staff friendly at check in. This is a great place with cement pads, lots of room for big rigs, your tow vehicle and golf cart. It's a wide open park, well maintained with some permanent people and some park models, all very well maintained. Cable and Wi-fi were free and worked very well. There is a security gate with key pad code but the area itself was very secure. Our satellite worked great, no obstructions. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

My family and I stayed here while visiting the Tampa area. Staff was courteous. There were three of us in a caravan and all our sites were kept close together. Easy in and out for big rigs with tow. Campground was immaculate. Well maintained, facities were spotless. WiFi was excellent. Many activities listed for adults, but not many things to do for kids. Pool was clean. Sites were level. The 'premier' sites are nice but come with relatively little shade. We preferred the regular sites. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This campground was a last minute choice as we left Michigan early to escape the next snow storm. We stayed 5 nights in the north/older section of the park. Hookups are back-to-back so you are close to your neighbor on that side. Our site was gravel, and we did need blocks to get level. We had an adequate concrete patio, a small picnic table, and nice grass at our site. Some sites in the older section were too shady for grass to thrive. The older section has mature live oak trees with Spanish Moss hanging down and an abundance of shade.

The newer section had small, immature trees and little shade. This section has concrete pads and were occupied primarily by newer big rigs. Only about 10% of the resort were park models, with most located on the perimeter roads.

The residents were very friendly and most are seasonal rentals. I-75 can be seen from the back of the park. Road noise was noticeable in places, but hardly overwhelming. The Wi-Fi reception was excellent the bulk of the time. In the early evening, occasionally internet response time would slow a bit. The cable TV selection was good, and hubby did not bother to set up his satellite dish. However, some of the channels were snowy at times. If you rescanned your TV, often it would improve reception. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Park is divided into two sections. Last time I was in the north (old) this time in the south (new). The north section is cramped with gravel/dirt sites and lots of trees while the south is spacious with concrete sites and patios. The park is well maintained and close to stores and places to eat. The pool and laundry is new and very nice while the restroom/showers are old and in need of updating. The noise might keep me from returning. The east park boundary is I-75 which is very noisy and permanent residents near my site played their music loud enough for the whole part to hear on 3 of the 7 nights that I was there. If you go, request a site in the western edge of the park to mitigate the noise (both traffic and musical). We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Park was really clean and well kept. Plenty of shady sites and some sat-friendly sites. All employees was friendly and helpful. Pool was not available but they are building a new one. Some sites are near the interstate but only had a little noise on our site, #32. I would for sure stay here again. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.
