Although the park was clean and the grounds were well maintained, we paid for a PREMIUM spot (or so I was told). Expecting the "white glove" treatment, we found we were placed on a tiny lot at the edge of the street about 25 feet from a busy highway, which meant we were treated to a constant barrage of road noises (muffler-less vehicles, motorcycles, tractor trailers, emergency vehicles --with sirens blaring even when the highway was deserted at 3:00am--). Some other "premium" privileges were: cable tv that didn't work, poor water pressure (where the spigot was facing upward), and a sewer connection that sat about 30 feet from our RV connector! (standard sewer tubes are about 10 feet long, I carry a second one just for emergencies such as this but even with that I couldn't reach the connector. Fortunately, my neighbor let me share his, which sat only about 10 feet away from my RV) When I later went back to inform them that our cable tv was not working, her response was an infuriating: "Nobody's ever complained about that before"... When I inquired about the lack of water pressure, I again received the same frustrating response. This employee obviously did not want to do any work. At this point, It wouldn't have been so bad if she had been the least bit apologetic. But to belittle my concerns and make everything "my problem", was particularly frustrating, making the thought of pushing her face deep into her computer keyboard particularly satisfying. Lastly, the pool by the front office had mold growing on the chairs and concrete surfaces.. which to me, disqualifies them from using the word RESORT in their name! We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This used to be a nice park but is going downhill fast. The grounds and landscaping were neglected and just had a dingy appearance. The bathrooms were so-so but are not cleaned daily. There are a lot of snowbirds here that keep their lots clean and neat but it looks like about 20% of the park is now local families living here year round and a majority of those lots were covered with trash. We will not stay here again. We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Motorhome.

Very old park that needs some attention. The roads are dirt and the pads are grass. Lots of shade which means lots of roots. We had a small concrete pad by the door but it was cracked. Leveling can be difficult because of the roots. Our hookups were good with no problems with electric or water. There are many full timers and some have old, junky equipment. Overall Rating:

Old Florida campground with lots of pine trees and also open spaces. Pine sap a problem so we chose the open spaces. Snowbirds had departed so lots of room but when everyone in...crowded and cramped. Lots of park models...some needing attention. Need to check sites; leveling can be a problem. Hookups also can be a problem; some sewers end up under RV and power can be a problem I am told by residents. Pools could be cleaned more frequently as debris blows in and makes a mess. Does not seem like much is reinvested in park. Daily rates way high.....monthly makes the park very reasonable for the area since it is near Disney. We stay here because it is close to family. Overall Rating:

This is a really old, somewhat neglected park. Will not return though staff is extremely friendly, helpful and available. It is an okay park and the warm yet older pool in the back was very nice but we prefer something nicer. Closest we could get to attraction we were attending. Considered Stage Stop across the street and uncertain which to say is better. Sometimes very noisy traffic where we were. ALDI right across the side street is a huge plus but noisy on the street-side sites. We were gone most of the time so not a huge deal. Children's play area okay not great. Would never stay here for a season in winter. Easy drive to attractions in the area, however. 20 minutes. Restrooms were clean but showers were so so. However that's probably from usage. Picnic tables on many but not all sites. Grass sites, pretty level on ours. We are older RVers, not campers, and really prefer nicer surroundings. A little TLC would go along way here. Water main break fixed quickly. A note to staff, please do not smoke right by the doorway of the office for the sake of those of us who have lung issues, thank you. You were wonderful, kind and helpful but why anyone would smoke right by a doorway anywhere is always beyond me. We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This was our 3rd stay at this campground. We like the convenient location to the parks, the easy access to Publix and Harbor Freight and the over-all friendly atmosphere of this camp. If you are looking for a Florida resort with A1 amenities and high-end facilities, don't stay here. If you like good, friendly, convenient accommodations, as well as great value for your dollar, Winter Garden RV Resort fits the bill. The office staff is very accommodating and have numerous activities scheduled. We have already made our reservations for 2016. We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is NOT big rig friendly. We were placed into a lot that was covered in black dirt. it was supposed to be a pull through but we couldn't get our toad to fit in the lot. the sewer connection was uphill. the water connection was just a little over a foot above ground so it was impossible to connect any hose with a pressure regulator. When leaving we were unable to drive forward due to cars parked along the narrow road and had to back out of the lot. We barely managed to negotiate the tight turns to get out of the park. JFYI the dirt tracked into the coach. We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Motorhome.

The interior roads of this park are paved. The sites are grass and somewhat level. The biggest problems are the tree roots. You have to be very careful when deploying the jacks. I had to move twice because the roots caused one or more jacks to deploy on an angle. Be very careful when hooking up because of the red ants. I had to spray three mounds before I could complete the water and sewer connections. There are a lot of long term resident and some of the units are in need of maintenance. You are close to the roadway and the traffic noise is constant. Although the site map shows recycle bins, they only had a bin for newspapers. I took away one point because they did not recycle bottles, cans and cardboard. We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The lots are grass and not level. Lots are very close together. We were lucky and had a vacant lot on each side of us, but if other campers had been parked there, it would have been very tight. The lots are also short, we could not stayed hooked up and barely had room to park our truck in front of our trailer. The laundry room is small and expensive. Front bathrooms were closed and it was a long walk to the other facilities. Front office staff is not friendly or helpful and do not seem to "know" their park. Couldn't tell us which way we needed to come into our lot: said each one was "different." The best thing about the park is location. Close to the turnpike and other Orlando toll roads. We stayed for a week: had to pay the weekly rate PLUS a $7 daily "resort fee." Not sure if we will stay here again. It's a great location and away from all the Disney traffic. Not much else to choose from in the area. No Wi-Fi at sites. We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed overnight here and worked fine for our needs. Near a very busy street, so traffic was noisy, but that is because we needed an easy pull-in for one night. They may have more slots in the interior of the park. Looked like a lot of snowbirds there already. Clean bathrooms and shower. Level grass sites. Didn't use pool. Satellite TV worked fine where we were, not sure of the other parts of the camp as the palm trees are very tall! We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is in a good location for Orlando, Disney World, etc. It's not a pretty decent campground with a couple of exceptions. (1) You park on grass, dirt, mud (if it rains) and (2) the sewer connection is in the wrong location. In most cases it takes two or even three hoses to reach. (However, the park manager said they are going to upgrade this and relocate the sewer hoses to where they should be.) We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Motorhome.

Older park. Not real friendly in the office. Encore park that needs some TLC. 2 pools were great. Lots of road noise but close to Disney world with back way. Would think twice before staying again just because of the location and price. Could use some upgrading for the price We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Motorhome.

Return visit. Have stayed here several times as this is the nicest park close to West Orlando. New management has made several improvements since my last visit and is making the park better. There are still quite a few long term residents but those are mostly in the back of the park. Great location with shopping across the street. Very friendly office and grounds staff. Stayed here for a week on the Passport America rate. We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Motorhome.

We needed to overnight in the area for RV service in the morning. Campground is about a mile from the service center. Our pull-through site is in the front by the road, lots of traffic, but we ran the AC and filtered out most of the noise. The showers were clean, but far from nice. Fixtures are old, flimsy curtains do not provide much privacy. We arrived on a Sunday, the office isn't open on Sundays, seems strange as cg's are a 7 day a week business. The cg host met us, and led us to our site. Overall, I would say it is overpriced and I don't think we would return. Too much money for too little. We camped at Orlando Winter Garden Campground Resort in a Motorhome.
