Large park. Pick your own spot then let them know where you're at. Spaces are average-sized. Lots of long-term residents. Great spot to walk in the trees between the park and HW 50. Close to fuel, food, shopping. Sites are grass. With a little rain, our leveling blocks had to be dug out when we left. Fire ants are plentiful and vicious. Park is well maintained. Previous reviews noting rough roads in the park were accurate. The park was entirely repaved with new blacktop while we were there in October 2017. Sites are all technically back-in but I pulled through an open one behind ours to make my own pull-through. Interior roads easy to navigate with no obstacles or sharp turns. Bath houses available but we did not go in. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Traffic always heavy to the east of the park towards Orlando. Head west a few miles to Clermont for groceries and such for a more enjoyable drive.

We're staying here for the winter, and it's been a very quiet park for us. The monthly charge is $648, which includes taxes and electricity. We're a mile and a half from the West Orange Trail, which is an almost 40 mile long paved bicycle trail. 50 amp sites are limited, but can be had. We'll definitely stay here again when we come back to the Orlando area. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed for winter. Monthly rate includes electric. Wi-fi only in office and rec hall. Older park but clean and well maintained.. A few permanent sites look a bit ratty but overall most units are well maintained. No cable but good antenna reception. A few organized activities. Friendly staff and campers. Roads are blacktop but some need work. Sites are grassy and each have a cement patio. Electric and water are at rear of sites. Not much of a playground for kids. We will definitely return. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at this park before and liked its location; close to family, away from Disney traffic, close to stores and the West Orange Bike Trail. Love the historic downtown Winter Garden. But, unfortunately, the park has really gone down hill in the last year. Many fulltimers with so much junk sitting outside their RV, even a old washing machine. The park just looked trashy. Lots of children roaming the roads day and night. We even had some vandalism done to our truck while here. The people who run the park are very nice but just don't enforce any rules. We would see people just driving thru the park at all hours of the night, others standing around the restrooms as if they were waiting to be picked up. Just a very "unsafe" feeling if we went out to walk the dogs after dark. Sites are not level and hookups are in the wrong location. We won't be back. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very loud park. They cut grass every day. It's a small park so no matter where they are working it's loud. Forget about relaxing on the patio. At night the nearby turnpike noise is amplified and the mosquitoes will carry you away. Camper sank in mud and office staff is very rude and don't get me started about the mail. Absolutely no cell service, no cable or Internet. Might as well camped in state park. Sirens all night . We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for just a few nights because our trip got aborted. The grounds were nice enough, although there were people that appeared to be full time residents. Our site was grassy, large and had the basics. What I really like about this place was how lovely the staff was when we had a problem and how accommodating they were when we had to leave suddenly. This is pretty much a basic campground with a tiny store, a clean, average sized pool and grassy areas, BUT the price can't be beat for an area that is full of great shopping and conveniences and so close to Disney Parks (22 mins approx). We will become regulars for those reasons and the great value. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots of things nearby-grocery, restaurants, hospital (I broke my nose on our trip and was glad it was close), stores and repair shops. Disney is close enough to be convenient and still make this place an awesome value if you are going to the parks.

This is an older park with primarily 30 amp sites. When you make reservations, you must request a 50 amp site. Friends had stayed in this park and forewarned us. If you are approaching this campground from the East on FL 50, iPhone Maps will tell you that you must make a u-turn. This is not accurate as there is a small crossover at the entrance to the campground and a U-turn is not required. If you approach the entrance from the west the turn is tight for a 40' fifth wheel. So, make a wide turn if you are a big rig. Also, be careful as you pass a building on the left as you enter where the camp sites are located. The road is narrow and the corner of the roof juts out. We narrowly missed it. Almost all sites are back in on soft grass. Our front levelers sunk into the ground. After mowing, there will be lots of grass clippings to track in. The person who checked us in was definitely not a people person as he did not seem to care if we stayed there or not. We stayed 3 nights. We would stay here again as an overnight visit. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We have a 41ft DP. We chose this park based on availability. Spring Break around Orlando means most sites were booked. Stage Stop had availability and a really low price compared to what we normally pay around this area.

We have our own bathroom, satellite and Wi-Fi so review does not include info on these things.

Overall I thought this park was great and would stay again. Nice and clean, friendly staff with long office hours, and it was blissfully quiet at this site. Best we have stayed at for the noise factor. The surrounding area is safe with good shopping, stores and a cool little town. It's very easy to get to Disney and a beautiful drive as well. A few turns, the Turnpike and the exit takes you right to the gates. There is a large field in front where we enjoyed playing Frisbee.

Our negatives were:

There were only a few spots available for 50amp. Plenty of open 30amp sites. We were able to find one but it wasn't in a location we would normally pick. Because you cannot reserve a site, it is a tossup if you will get the 50amp site.

We could not level. It was raining when we arrived. The sites are grass and dirt with no filler. No matter what we tried from wood to metal braces under the pads, everything sunk a few feet into the ground. The front wheels came off the ground, the back kept sinking. We finally gave up. I was afraid a sink hole would start. We tried again the next day and still couldn't level.

We were glad we didn't bring our daughter. There are swings, a pool etc but I think kids will be bored fast and it is more of a park for quiet adults. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Motorhome.

Available sites were back in only. They were soft grass where the motorhome left impressions in the grass. You were allowed to pick your own site. We toured in the car to select our site. Roads are narrow but big rig accessible. A nice friendly park. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Motorhome.

This is an older Florida park. Nothing fancy, has a pool and a couple of kids play areas, but no "activity menu"! The sites are grass, pull thru and back in. Plenty long and space, mostly level. You pick your own site, so if you don't like it you are the one to blame! There is no cable, but we picked up quite a few channels with our antenna. Wi-fi is only available in the clubhouse. Lots of stores and shops in the area. Winter Garden has a beautiful downtown area and the West Orange Trail runs thru the city. Great trail for bicycles or walking. Lots of open grassy area for the puppy dogs. Nice quiet park. We would stay here again. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites are large enough for big rigs. The trash containers were conveniently located. The park was clean, grassy and well mowed. It was far enough off the highway to be quiet, yet close to markets and shopping areas. The only negative we saw was the roadway was deteriorating in some spots. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice looking park but very hard to use because the hookups are placed on the wrong side in many sites. Despite the sites being 80% unoccupied, it took us nearly an hour to pick out a suitable site for our big rig because of this. Most sites are only 30 amp. Sites are on grass and some were very soft. Many had fire ant hills on them. I would not camp here again We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Motorhome.

We needed a campground close to the RV service center: Stage Stop is just 2 miles down the road. The location was perfect. The campground itself is average, nothing special. The staff is pleasant. Our site was a pull through in the midst of park models, and not very level. The hookups were in good working order. There is no cable TV or WiFi (at your site), so the $32 per night seems a bit high. The pool is right by the road, not very inviting. There is a lot of road construction in the area, including right in front of the cg, but you can get in and out ok. I think we look for another campground the next time we are in the area for service. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a nice older park. There are some park models here; most are kept up. Sites are fairly large on grass with concrete pads. Sites are 50 Amp or 30 Amp, you select which you need. This park is close to Orlando with easy drive to Disney. This is a great place to use as base for area attractions. Lots of road construction on SR50 (W. Colonial Drive), but it's easy to enter and exit park. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Motorhome.
