This is a city campground it has no frills but is a nice quite place to spend a night or two. It is located in historic Andersonville Georgia.and for the price who can complain. Also it has a new bathhouse. We camped at Andersonville City Park Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

This city park needs about 3 days worth of bulldozer site work. The only level sites are the ones with concrete and they are awning to awning. There are major ruts in all roads. Also the trees need to be trimed/topped, there are many large overhanging limbs. Entrances both north and south of the "restaurant" are very tight and rough. You can get a big rig into the concrete sites but it's not fun. We camped at Andersonville City Park Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

As last year we were going to stay for the night on our way to Florida. We got there and found that the campground has gone downhill. The sign at the turn into the park says it will be closing permanently February 2008. We went to the office and found it was locked. We left without even trying to get anyones attention. We camped at Andersonville City Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $10.00
The campground is well situated off I-75 and makes a good stop for travellers heading down to Florida. It is a Passport America participant thus the inexpensive price. All sites are pull through with full service. The park itself looks a little unkept. The area is sandy with very little grass. The seasonal sites seem to be at one end and most appear to be looked after some are not. While we were there we lost water pressure on the morning that we left. For the price it was a nice stop for the trip down to Florida. We will stop here again on our travels to the Sunshine State. We camped at Andersonville City Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We left before we completed setting up the RV. Sites were very little and knats were unreal. Was not a nice place to camp for us. We camped at Andersonville City Park Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
