Overall Rating:

This is not a destination vacation spot, but a great overnight stay. The sites are level, gravel and have water (good pressure), 30 and 50 amp service and sewer. The campground is basically a large lot with RV sites adjacent to the store and fireworks store. Easy access off of I-75 at exit 82. When coming on off of the exit, there is a gas station with diesel pumps at the designated truck lanes. Pull into the Carroll's entrance and when you get to the camping area, pick your spot. When you register at the store you will get a coupon for $10 off of a purchase. We bring our vacuum sealer with us and freeze our meat and throw it in the RV freezer. Dog walking is superb. We were not bothered by road noise on 75. We camped at Carroll's Sausage and Country Store RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Camping is in a large open field adjacent to I-75. Good spot for an overnight stay if some noise from the interstate can be tolerated or you can get a motorhome between you and the highway. Our spot was level. Gourmet products at the general store. Huge fireworks store next door. No problems with utilities but they are at the back of the sites. Not all sites have picnic tables but this is a "pick a spot then pay us" campground so look for what you want. We camped at Carroll's Sausage and Country Store RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a nice stop for an overnight. It is right off I 75. There is no bath house or anything like that so you need a totally self contained unit. The connections all worked very well and although there is no cable connection the OTA channels provide enough entertainment. The sites are nice, level and long. The only thing to negative would be the road noise from the interstate. The $30 does include a $10 discount in the store. Check in was quick and easy and you pick our own site. There is also now a small barbeque place next to the store with pretty good food. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Carroll's Sausage and Country Store RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Nice campground for an overnight stay when traveling. Sites were level gravel. As others have said there are some anthills. Knowing that, we sprayed around jacks, tires and hookups and had no issues. Right off the interstate so there is some noise however we chose a site further away from the entrance so it was not horrible. Price included $10.00 credit toward purchase in their country store. We camped at Carroll's Sausage and Country Store RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I was the only over night rv except for one that seems more permanent. The Rv park is a field next to I75. Lots of ant hills with biting ants. Ruts in gravel roads and pull threws. Good water pressure, but water is right over sewer hookup. 30, 50 and 20 amp hook ups. Carrolls sausage offered a $10 gift card instead of breakfast. I had a tasty breakfast and got some fancy jam. I'd stay again. We camped at Carroll's Sausage and Country Store RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground is new - just opened a year ago. All sites are long & wide pull-through sites. Surface was an crushed asphalt. Water was good (municipal). Sewer connections good (rear of site). The electric boxes are the new style RV 50/30/20 amp. When they set up the campground, they did a very good job laying everything out - no obstructions or barriers. No trees, just a large open field. Wi-Fi was excellent. I think I got a download speed of 25 Mbps. There was only 1 other RV in the campground the night we stayed. Excellent campground for a 1 night stay. What we enjoyed the most was the FREE BREAKFAST in the morning! See comments below in the tips section. We camped at Carroll's Sausage and Country Store RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Carroll's Sausage and Meats provides a full breakfast menu of your choosing. Your drink is included (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc). Carroll's Sausage and Meats is a full-service butcher shop. Their specialty is home-made sausages. They also carry a large selection of Troyer Farms cheese and bacon (love that pepper-bacon). Also lots of jams and jellies from the Amish in Ohio. After breakfast time (10:30 AM) they offer deli style sandwiches until about 6 PM. The store closes at 7 PM.

Nice place off I-75 easy access. No trees but long pull through sites. They give you a free breakfast with your stay. No restroom after the store closes but with full hook ups we use our rig. We will make this a stop on our year Snowbird trip! We camped at Carroll's Sausage and Country Store RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This campground is adjacent to the country store. We were pleasantly surprised to find 50 amp electric, good water pressure and excellent Wi-Fi. The sites are very level and are of asphalt grindings. Our pull-through site accommodated our 42 ft. motorhome pulling a 20 ft. trailer and the Yukon with a few feet to spare. The store offers the best selection of fresh meat found in any specialty meat shop. There are a variety of other specialty foods for sale. Interstate 75 is easily visible, but the road noise did not bother us. There was a nice flat field where we walked the dogs. Our overnight stay included a certificate for 2 free breakfasts in the country store. We will definitely stay here again and if not staying, will still stop to purchase some of their wonderful homemade sausage and jerky. The owner introduced himself, and the staff was excellent.
