Entrance is not marked very well. There is a big board with small letters just before you get to the park directing RVs further ahead, so don't trust your GPS too much. Entry and interior roads are a bit rough. Sites are on a slope, so you WILL need to level. If you don't have a leveling system, you're leaning. Utilities worked well. Fair number of OTA channels. Wifi at the site was useless. Maybe it works well in the club house. No fenced dog area. A few long term residents were there. Some road noise inside the RV, but not a lot. Not sure I'd stay here again. We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for two nights recently after leaving Florida to head home. The staff in the clubhouse were extremely helpful and accommodating. This RV park and resort is located off the beaten path, felt very quaint in this little town in south Georgia. The golf course is in awesome shape, greens were fast. There's a large lake for fishing as well, although we did not fish. The lots have plenty of space, the interior roads were recently leveled and made for easy pulling. There are fire rings and picnic tables in each lot. The bathrooms were clean and there is a full laundry room. The pool is large, and it appears they are refinishing it...looks like it's gonna be great! Clubhouse has a small restaurant and bar, plenty of locals to hang out with, and eateries are not too far away. This was our first time staying here and will def stay again! We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Interior roads are heavily rutted gravel, could cause serious issues with big rigs if you're not paying close attention. Utility posts are run down & beat up. Missing some fire rings and picnic tables are not maintained, some broken. Friendly staff and it does have a golf course attached. Typical slow wi-fi. Still, it's an average campground with not a lot to do anywhere nearby. We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Motorhome.

While it might not be a "resort" in the usual sense, it's a nice campground with 50A full hookups, and a nice rural golf course, the kind I learned to play on. Brought back lots of memories while I walked nine holes, totally unhurried, with the course practically to myself. And the greens are in very good shape. The campground has a mix of transients and residents, and the staff was very nice and helpful. The first couple days we were there it rained buckets, washing out a portion of the campground road. The crew was on it the very next day and had the road fixed up. This place makes a nice stopover for a few days, play a little golf (included in the price!), and then move on. I would return. We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This would not be considered a resort by most people's definition of a "resort". Its a small town 9-hole golf course with a small "bad basement" deco theme clubhouse/bar. Pools is large, but needs some upkeep. Campground is basic and OK. You check in at the clubhouse. We were told to choose a site we liked. No shade. Gravel roads and sites. A few seasonal units, but all in good shape and not built around like a permanent setup. Our power tripped off 3-4 times in the extreme heat. WiFi was available at the clubhouse but was very weak in the campground area. Our site (#1) was long and level. Sites have picnic tables. The staff was very nice and friendly. This was a single overnight stop for us. We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

About 5 miles west of I75 and Ashburn, some road noise though from the road the campground is on, otherwise peaceful. Water 50a and sewer all worked fine, Verizon cell phone and internet hotspot worked fine. Rooftop dish worked as there are no trees of any size. Campground is open field with many pull throughs and several long term RV parked here. Our site had plenty of room for both RV and truck. Roads & sites are gravel with some grass in them. Site had picnic table, fire ring and grill. We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a great one nighter for us. If you love to golf and fish this is the place for you. The park has a lot of room to manuvere a class a. The staff was great and services were very good. The owner has a club house that has a small store, bar and restaurant... Sites are fairly level but the soil is sandy. We drove our toad into town 5 miles away and got something to eat. Very peaceful. We would stay here again. We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Hard to describe this as a resort given the dirt interior roads but, aside from that, everything else about our stay was excellent. Made for an excellent overnight on our way south via I75. Young man checking us in couldn't have been nicer. Easy access to and in the park with our larger RV. We would certainly stay again. We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Price reflects a Passport America discount. We have camped in many parks and rarely find a jewel like this. Off the beaten path, quiet and scenic. We are not golfers but if we were, this would be a good one. Excellent sites, great Wi-Fi and utilities and nice amenities. The good experience started with the friendly staff. Will stay here again and recommend it to others. Please keep it simple, some things should never change. We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 10 days at $16.00 a night using Passport America. The roads and spacious sites in the park are gravel. We had full hookups with 50 amp service and good Wi-Fi is included. If you are a golfer, this RV park is a goldmine. The 9-hole golf course is very nice and the use of the course is included in the daily rate. The park offers a small light fare menu so you can order food on site. Tables, fire ring, and charcoal grill at each site for grilling your own meals. The locals come to the park to play golf and socialize with the campers. The atmosphere is extremely friendly. What more can you ask for? We stayed in a 39 foot RV and had no problems maneuvering in the park. The owners are a delight as are the onsite Work Kampers. We will stay here again. Stopped overnight. Two miles off the main road, it is quiet and beautiful. A pleasant hike along trails around the golf course lead to a beautiful opening with a fishing lake. The office is also a lounge serving hot dogs, hamburgers and such. Very friendly helpful people. A bit of paradise off the beaten path. Would definitely come back. The down side is the single (1), small, shower. The door can be locked but the location in the Pro Shop is inconvenient. We opted to use our own. The pool looks great but is unheated and we were there out of season. The hot tub was covered and only lukewarm so we passed on that. Club House/Pro Shop/Lounge is modest but nice. It has a pool table ($1), TV, and very reasonably priced adult beverages. They allow you to take your own beverages onto the golf course, which is rare. $2 laundry. Tables, fire ring, and charcoal grill at each site. Good Wi-Fi. Golf course is a fair test and was in fair shape. They had recently over seeded the greens. The fee(s) are very reasonable. I would stay here again. 4 miles west of Ashburn on hard paved GA 112. We camped at Wanee Lake Golf and RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a golf resort for RVers. Nice swimming pool, good fishing in the lake, and well maintained, moderately challenging nine hole golf course. Play nine, stop for lunch, play another nine, have a swim, back "home" for a drink and a nap. Fishing in the evening and do it again tomorrow. This place is great! The rate is for Passport America.
