Nice level site, good power and 100 psi water pressure. Pull thru in a field. Follow the directions below for the pull thrus. The park has a for sale sign on it now. Make sure and call the location as there is no management on site. They are now only accepting cash and can mail you a receipt for your payment. We did not hear the road noise as we did not open our windows. It gave us everything we needed for over night. - highwayrunners
We stayed at this campground one night while traveling through Augusta. The owners/managers weren't onsite but they gave us instructions as to where to park, where to pay, etc. when we called. It is a big rig friendly park. The one thing to note, if you're planning to park in one of the pull through sites on the left as you enter, is that you should follow the driveway past the house and circle around to enter the sites. That way you can see the site numbers, and the hook ups will be on the driver's side/back of the RV. The campground is close to a major highway, but there wasn't much road noise. The site we had was hard packed dirt/gravel and was fairly level, with a good amount of space between sites. Water and electric were good. There were a couple of RVs in the park that looked as though they may have been abandoned or not well cared for, but it was a good place to stop for a night. There are some low hanging power lines in the park, but they shouldn't be a problem for anyone who stays on the driveway and uses the pull through sites near the entrance. We would stay again if passing through the area. - Guinness
Cash only. Grass pull through sites, good 50amp hookups. Convenient to interstate and town. Good overnight stop. - Tuney-GA
We stayed here for 4 months and found it to be a surprisingly quiet and comfortable RV park. The location is good and the owners do an excellent job of keeping things very clean and in working order.
When we first arrived we were not sure we would be happy staying here because of the size of the park and the lack of shower or laundry facilities. We quickly found that we had landed in the right spot for us. - Mgtann
We have family relations in Augusta and this is a great park for us. Probably for anyone. It is a converted mobile home park but after 30 years, you'd never know it. The owner is great and was very nice on the phone and when we arrived. We have a 40' motor home and wanted satellite access which was no problem. Since we were only there for a night, he put us into a new gravel site with a nice concrete pad for the picnic table . Sewer and water and new 50 amp pedestal all worked fine. I had my own Verizon mifi and it worked very well. Very fast. This beats our last stay in the area which was a long way out of town at the COE park. Much more convenient and less cost. Plus the campground is in a steady state of improvement with new, wide and level sites going in all the time. The owner knows what he is doing and we will stay here again. I recommend it highly. - rwarner22
We have been staying at Heritage RV Park through the week while working in Augusta since February of 2012 which is almost 3 years and we have nothing but good things to say about our stay there. The park is very quiet and the utilities have been more reliable than the ones at our home in Atlanta. We have never had a power surge or a brown out during this whole time and the power has not been off for over a few minutes during this time and that was no fault of the park but rather the power company. It also has a very good water source with the pressure regulated at approx. 40 psi so you won't have to worry about blowing any lines and it's plenty powerful enough for a good shower. You also won't meet a nicer owner of an RV park. He takes very good care of his customers. It's very nice knowing when you're away that all your stuff will be like it was when you return. The park is also located near the Augusta Mall and it's also just a short distance to where the Masters Golf Tournament is held every year. It's also located just off of Interstate 20 and there's restaurants of all types near by. If we are ever back in the area we would not think of staying any place else. - Greg & June
