Having arrived 2 hours past office closing, a call to the number on the office door scored us an excellent pull-through site for the evening. The park host, was very helpful and accommodating. Sites are gravel, most are end-to-end, pull-in or back-in. Some road noise during morning commute, but not objectionable as Park is not on a major highway. Full-hookup facilities in excellent shape; new. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access from I-20. Only about 1.5 miles from I-20. Seems mostly seasonal. Very well kept, clean and maintained. Office personal helpful and friendly. Did not see any run down RVs. Interior roads are gravel. We stayed here overnight and did not hook up water or sewer. Our site had a very good view of a dumpster. The dumpster was located about 6 feet from the drivers side of our motorhome. Didn't smell anything and all trash was in the dumpster, nothing on the ground. We were in site 71, it's the only pull through here. The site was level, no leveling required. The owner prefers anyone just staying one night in this site not to unhook their tow vehicle. Kind of odd, but we didn't have any plans to unhook so not an issue. Didn't have any safety issues, felt secure here. WiFi is located throughout the park. There are 5 access points. We used access point 1 and had very good WiFi. I was able to connect using my WiFi over WAN. No problem with satellite reception. We would stay here again. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thank you for taking the time to review our park. Your feedback is valued. We strive to keep the park safe and to provide good WiFi for travelers to use. Because all of our sites are back in and we get many requests for a single night while traveling through Augusta, we recently added one pull thru site mainly for motor homes towing so that they would not have to disconnect for the night. If a customer plans to disconnect, we attempt to assign one of our back in sites to keep the pull thru site available for a person who truly does not want to disconnect. Senior citizens especially appreciate our pull thru site. Many of our back in sites have plenty of depth so 5th wheels and travel trailers can stay connected if they desire. Thank you for your business!

This park has lots of landscaping at most of the sites. Our site was gravel with shrubbery, irrigation, a patio & brand new metal picnic table. The site has landscape lighting. The owner takes a lot of pride in ownership & wants everything just right. There are 3 entrance/ exits but only gate 1 has access to both sides of road in front of park. This has become a beautiful park. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A great facility with a staff that was great to work with. Nice and quiet nights. Close to just about everything you would want in Augusta. The grounds were extremely well kept and rates were very reasonable. Whether a night or longer, I highly recommend setting up at Heritage RV if you are in the Augusta area. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

There is only one pull through site, but the other sites are large enough for our 38' 5th wheel and truck. Some sites are permanents, but clean and tidy. I never saw a map of the campground, but they escort everyone to their sites and help you park. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. We had 50 amp service, water, sewer connection and very strong WiFi signal. We were in an older site, so we did not have a concrete pad or a new picnic table. The owner is fixing up the campground and some sites have a nice concrete pad and nice new metal picnic tables. The concrete pads are very nice, since there is a lot of sand here. We had to vacuum before we brought in our slides when we left. There are no amenities like a bathhouse, pool or laundry. It is just a small nice and clean campground. It is an easy place to get to from I-20. We had to evacuate from Myrtle Beach because of Hurricane Matthew and we were fortunate to get a spot this nice. This would be a nice place to stay during the Masters, if I was into golf. The campground is pretty centrally located, close to a lot of restaurants, Walmart, Lowe's and Home Depot. I hope the owner continues to upgrade the remaining sites, because it will greatly improve this campground. It rained most of the time we were there, but the campground had no standing water. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place in Augusta for an overnight stay. We called on Saturday afternoon for Sunday afternoon arrival. We were assigned to the only pull thru site which is a long, wide, level site just inside the entrance. Well-placed utilities. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very quiet park, still in the process of updating sites. We were way in the back - site had a cement pad, spacious. Wifi was strong although on occasion the signal would be dropped for a few seconds. Campground is a short drive into the city. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A very nice park. I initially called on phone to check on availability. The gentleman who I believe was the owner was very polite, cheery, and made our reservation an easy process. The high speed internet was reliable. Our RV antenna picked up many channels in HD. Our site was a premium site #46. The water had excellent pressure. The lighting in the evening was very pretty. We Would definitely make a reservation here if travelling through Augusta again. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

I would echo StephenK's review in June. It's great to see an old campground reinvesting. Our site was level and very clean. Loved the new cement pad, weed-free grass and appropriately placed utilities. The seasonal or permanent residents have nicer units parked in the older sites. The only drawbacks are the lack of any restrooms, showers or amenities. The office is only open 1-5pm M-F however the last minute holiday reservation was handled easily in the phone with a complete email confirmation. The wifi was fast and only spotty at times. We'd stay again. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

This CG was formerly a mobile home park and old, satellite pictures suggest a run-down and very tired facility. However, new owners have seriously cleaned-up the CG. The west section sites are still being renovated while the east side shows major improvements including fresh gravel sites, concrete curbs and patios, sod, planted trees and shrubs, decorative lighting, and landscaping. Most appealing. Sites are spacious, FHU/30/50, level gravel. Roads are still rutted dirt which will probably be upgraded once the site improvements are complete. This CG, for now, has no amenities (pool/spa/restrooms/showers, etc) so your unit must suffice for your needs. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We lived in Augusta 13 years ago, returning to visit friends. Growth has been explosive due to the changing missions at Fort Gordon. You name the eatery and you'll find it. Multiple theaters, golf courses, houses under construction, apartments vying for tenants. And, of course, big city traffic - everywhere, relentless.

As commercial parks go, this one is a good one. They are making great improvements and turning the park from a trailer park into a RV park. All but 3 of the trailers are gone and they are creating some great pads for RV's. Our site was one of the already improved sites, well landscapes, roll curbs, crushed rock base, full hook-ups, with concrete patios and aluminum picnic tables. The personnel was very friendly and helpful and the park was well maintained. I am a walker and my only disappointment was the limited space to walk as this was a small park. We only stayed one night per our schedule, but if I wanted to stay inside the city of Augusta, this would be a good choice. Even though we were not far from a busy street, it was a quite area. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great owner, great park. Very clean but remember, no showers or laundry. Not a problem for us. We stayed for a month May 2015 and again this year. Close to our family and all services.
