One would definitely classify Heritage RV Park in the no-frills category: no paved roads, no paved sites, no on-site laundry (laundromat relatively nearby), no restroom/shower facilities, no pool. So if you are in need of these amenities, this is not the place for you. What this very quiet park does offer is close proximity to Augusta, along with long, level satellite-friendly sites. Our premium site, although gravel, had a concrete patio with an aluminum picnic table, and grass/flower separation between our site and neighboring sites. RV sites are closely-spaced and are back-in, except for one pull-through which is reserved for overnight guests who do not wish to disconnect. The registration office is closed on weekends (open 1-5, weekdays), so if you arrive on a Saturday or Sunday, your site information is available for you in a packet taped to the office door and your name is posted on your reserved site. However, prior to our weekend arrival, we received an email from the owner of the resort with all our needed info. The selection of RV parks in the Augusta area is extremely minimal, so Heritage seems to be the best choice. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice clean and well taken care of park. The office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and does not open until 1PM other days. I gave them a satisfactory on the service because I was the 5th of the line of motorhomes waiting to sign in. Once they arrived they were very nice and did show us to our site. I didn't know about the time limit...maybe I missed it on the internet...but it felt very weird. Because of where they are I felt the value was good. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice little campground with easy access to I-20 & I-520. Grounds appeared to be spotless clean. Campsites are gravel and fairly level with a concrete side pad for camper access and picnic table. Staff greeted us warmly and assisted in getting us backed into our site. Will stay here again if traveling in the area. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall, not impressed. Check in time listed on reservation link was noon, however office didn't open until 1:00pm. Overpriced nightly rate for no amenities. No bathrooms, showers or laundry. Mostly seasonal. Some sites designed for larger Class A motorhomes have some landscaping, but most sites were gravel and very close together. Our site did not even have a picnic table. Occupants of site next door were of questionable character. Would not stay here again. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stopped for just an overnight. We got there at 1 when the office was supposed to open and no one was there. We waited and finally called the # on our reservation. The host said he was running late and guided us over the phone to where we were to stay. It was a back in with plenty of room for the tow. Appeared to have plenty of residents who kept their sites clean and tidy. We would stay here again. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Site pad was cracked into chunks. Park was quite but only sites for permanent residents were in good shape. Sites were very close together. No amenities and won't stay there again. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Having arrived 2 hours past office closing, a call to the number on the office door scored us an excellent pull-through site for the evening. The park host, was very helpful and accommodating. Sites are gravel, most are end-to-end, pull-in or back-in. Some road noise during morning commute, but not objectionable as Park is not on a major highway. Full-hookup facilities in excellent shape; new. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access from I-20. Only about 1.5 miles from I-20. Seems mostly seasonal. Very well kept, clean and maintained. Office personal helpful and friendly. Did not see any run down RVs. Interior roads are gravel. We stayed here overnight and did not hook up water or sewer. Our site had a very good view of a dumpster. The dumpster was located about 6 feet from the drivers side of our motorhome. Didn't smell anything and all trash was in the dumpster, nothing on the ground. We were in site 71, it's the only pull through here. The site was level, no leveling required. The owner prefers anyone just staying one night in this site not to unhook their tow vehicle. Kind of odd, but we didn't have any plans to unhook so not an issue. Didn't have any safety issues, felt secure here. WiFi is located throughout the park. There are 5 access points. We used access point 1 and had very good WiFi. I was able to connect using my WiFi over WAN. No problem with satellite reception. We would stay here again. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Don-in-GA, owner at Heritage RV Park responded to this review

Thank you for taking the time to review our park. Your feedback is valued. We strive to keep the park safe and to provide good WiFi for travelers to use. Because all of our sites are back in and we get many requests for a single night while traveling through Augusta, we recently added one pull thru site mainly for motor homes towing so that they would not have to disconnect for the night. If a customer plans to disconnect, we attempt to assign one of our back in sites to keep the pull thru site available for a person who truly does not want to disconnect. Senior citizens especially appreciate our pull thru site. Many of our back in sites have plenty of depth so 5th wheels and travel trailers can stay connected if they desire. Thank you for your business!

This park has lots of landscaping at most of the sites. Our site was gravel with shrubbery, irrigation, a patio & brand new metal picnic table. The site has landscape lighting. The owner takes a lot of pride in ownership & wants everything just right. There are 3 entrance/ exits but only gate 1 has access to both sides of road in front of park. This has become a beautiful park. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A great facility with a staff that was great to work with. Nice and quiet nights. Close to just about everything you would want in Augusta. The grounds were extremely well kept and rates were very reasonable. Whether a night or longer, I highly recommend setting up at Heritage RV if you are in the Augusta area. There is only one pull through site, but the other sites are large enough for our 38' 5th wheel and truck. Some sites are permanents, but clean and tidy. I never saw a map of the campground, but they escort everyone to their sites and help you park. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. We had 50 amp service, water, sewer connection and very strong WiFi signal. We were in an older site, so we did not have a concrete pad or a new picnic table. The owner is fixing up the campground and some sites have a nice concrete pad and nice new metal picnic tables. The concrete pads are very nice, since there is a lot of sand here. We had to vacuum before we brought in our slides when we left. There are no amenities like a bathhouse, pool or laundry. It is just a small nice and clean campground. It is an easy place to get to from I-20. We had to evacuate from Myrtle Beach because of Hurricane Matthew and we were fortunate to get a spot this nice. This would be a nice place to stay during the Masters, if I was into golf. The campground is pretty centrally located, close to a lot of restaurants, Walmart, Lowe's and Home Depot. I hope the owner continues to upgrade the remaining sites, because it will greatly improve this campground. It rained most of the time we were there, but the campground had no standing water. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very quiet park, still in the process of updating sites. We were way in the back - site had a cement pad, spacious. Wifi was strong although on occasion the signal would be dropped for a few seconds. Campground is a short drive into the city. We camped at Heritage RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
