There appear to be nice sites here. Made reservation about 2:30 p.m. got the "last drive through site" - #26. (We pull a 35' 5th wheel). It's a miserable site where the RV steps open right up onto an internal road. WiFi weak and variable. The lady who manned the shop was very nice and helpful, so that wasn't any problem. For $50 a night - after Good Sam discount and a $1 discount after I noted the truly questionable site. it's truly the least value place we've been (Central Oregon to Marietta). If this site is the only on offer, skip it. We camped at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve in a Fifth Wheel.

By far the worst experience of our whole trip, 2-night stay. One (1) single shower and rest room functional for 51 sites, muddy water, and when we left the site for a few hours the manager had given it to someone else. We camped at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve in a Motorhome.

Definitely a mixed bag. Mostly long term, working folks with a few transient spots. Nice clean new showers and laundry. Sites are a little tight and there is a surplus of mud when it rains. But is is very peaceful and quiet at night (except for train whistles in the distance). Tucked into a residential area with narrow but navigable streets to get in and out. Call for reservations - don't bother with the web site form, it won't be answered. Friendly staff though when you call. Quite expensive for what you get but supply is quite limit near Atlanta. We stayed 3 nights. We camped at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve in a Motorhome.

Filled out online reservations never got a call or email. Had to call, l got some one that was telling me l could only stay one maybe two nights, because of the age of my rv. It's a 97 but in great shape. He told me to contact the lady who is the one that makes reservations. She never answered the phone. When I got there my rv was one of if not the nicest one there. The roads are in rough shape you have to drive very slow. This place is in very poor condition. Never got wifi, after trying for a hour I just gave up. No cable tv. Most of the people staying there seemed to be long term. I would only stay here as a last resort. We camped at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve in a Motorhome.

This was my very first time hooking up my Roadtrek travel van. The park hosts were both friendly and helpful. The bath house was extremely clean and the long term (work crew) guests were also friendly and helpful. I do wish there was a picnic table at the site. We camped at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Daily rate is based on a one week stay for $150. Much cheaper than any place else in the Atlanta area that we found. We had FHU next to office with great free wifi. The bath house is located in with laundry and is totally handicapped accessible. There are three washers and three dryers. Both of the bathrooms are unisex and large with a wheelchair accessible shower. Everything is kept clean. We were serenaded in the evening by the spring peepers and could hear a train off in the distance, both very pleasant sounds. There are security lights by the bath house. It was quiet and safe. Most of the residents here are workers so things are very quiet. There are no amenities or activities. It is simply an inexpensive, safe, quiet place to stay while we visited Atlanta which was about 16 miles away. Lots of shopping and many great restaurants in the area. We camped at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit any of the Marietta Family Restaurants (mfrcaatering.com) in the area. We went to the Casa Grande Bar and Grill and Pasta Bella both in Austell. Also visited the Marietta Diner in Marietta...well worth the trip. There are six restaurants in this grouping and if we are ever this way we'd stay in this campground again just to visit the three we missed.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at this campground for a little over 2 wks. The camp host and owner could not be any nicer and helpful. WiFi not the best. Had no problem with satilite signal. Some sites would require longer electric and sewer hookup. I would not use directions on website. Take Maxham to Old Alabama to Wren Circle. This avoids the residential area. We would stay here again for a shorter stay. We camped at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 3 nights.

The directions provided on the park's website takes you through a residential area with narrow streets, a short hill ending in tight 90 degree intersection turn, and low hanging trees. It was a challenge to reach the park following those directions in a 41' motor home with a toad.

The park is a former manufactured home development. It opened Fall, 2014 but is still undergoing renovations. The common building was not complete. There was no office. Some of the electrical connections were not functioning. The roads were not in good condition: An open hole in the road near the main entrance; cracks with growing vegetation; roads sloped in a V creating inclines to some of the sites with speed bumps. They were working on the water system so they had the water off for more than 2 hours without prior notice. Tree encroachment into the roads especially at the corners creating a hazard for taller RV's.

The park is laid out in a rectangle with the back-ins along the outside and pull-throughs in the center of the park. They were long enough for our 41' MH with the toad. The sites are generally grass with some concrete areas. There were tire ruts in the grass indicating the parking areas were soft in wet conditions. The utility connections are not well suited for RV use. Depending upon where you park, the connections could require long runs (some looked about 30 to 40 feet long). The sewer connections stuck up above the ground about 6 to 12" creating problems establishing any type of downhill flow.

There were trees to interfere with satellite reception. Only 3 broadcast channels. Only 1 was a major network.

No WiFi offered.

There wasn't a fenced pet area. There was sufficient space to walk dogs along the park's roads and in the surrounding area just outside the park but that area did not feel safe. There were no bag dispensers or receptacles around the park to pick up waste. There was a dumpster available for garbage.

Basically, you pay full rate to park in a field with no amenities and questionable hook ups!

The park is better suited for towables (there was a large 5th wheel in the park), Class C's, Class B's and smaller Class A's. Use Old Alabama Rd to get to the park.

Since there was no office, in order to pay with a credit card you need an internet connection to pay through Pay Pal.

Nearby train whistles all night long. We camped at Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve in a Motorhome.
