Very nice COE park. Great sunsets over Lake Seminole. Lots of grassy areas all through the park. The only negative is the 2 bathhouses. They are very old and in need of upgrading. Also no full hookups. - Southern Yankee

We stayed for one night as a stopover from Florida to Alabama. We were lucky to get a waterfront site that we thoroughly enjoyed. The sites are all paved and come with a fire pit, picnic table, and a free-standing table that I wasn't sure what they were made for. Maybe it was just a project to keep someone busy? The sites are spaced apart quite well with lots of elbow room (more like arms-stretched-out room). The sun sets across the lake so sunsets at this campground are gorgeous. This was my first time at a COE and if the rest are as good as this one, I'll go out of my way to these. Verizon LTE data was good, and so was cell signal. - Sara C.

Excellent Corp of Engineers Park about a mile north of Chattahoochee FL. Very nice well laid out park. Our site was a pull through and was wide open and quite level. The site was parallel to the road, it was level blacktop. The water pressure was good as was the water quality. The 50 amp power cause no problems for our power management system. - Teacher's Pet

I am not positive of the rate as we stayed 3 weeks. Rates were less if over a week. Loved the park. Bathrooms close to swimming pool. Swimming pool clean with very nice chairs, tables, umbrella, and area around pool was very clean.
The lots are nice and wide. Campers do not sit on top of each other.
There are some people that live their in their campers, but the sites are clean and not over run. The whole park is nice and clean. Owner is quite pleasant. I would and will stay there again. - Daryl Oldenkamp

This is no longer a KOA. Directions are confusing regarding bypass, and east and west. There is a little shade around the edge. We left a message for the manager, chose our own spot, and told him we would check in in the morning to pay. I helped the office person figure out what we should pay. Terrible gnats. The manager has allowed park to degrade, with derelict units. Only okay for overnight. - Yeager

Stopped here in our Big Rig for an overnight and were very satisfied with the campground. Very clean with spacious pull through sites. The sites are grassy but most of them are level. Lots of trees on the perimeter and some of the sites but also many of them have none which helps with satellite reception. Several long-term campers but quiet and neat. The campground is across the road from the river and a park. The campground has a pool, putt-putt golf and playground for the children. We will definitely stay here again when in the area and need a stop-over campground. - John & Bobbie

Stopped at this park on the way to Florida. We had heard that there was great fishing there by a friend who lives nearby. The park is rustic, but the staff is very friendly. We went fishing (launched our friends boat off the ramp) and had a blast. Recommend this park to anyone who is a fishing fan! - WildBlueGC

Being renovated, this is primarily a fishing resort located on Lake Seminole. Has great southern style restaurant, fishing supplies, boat ramp and guide service. The campground is rustic but clean and the people that run it are just great! They have kids fishing tournaments so if there is not a Bass tornament going on, this would make nice family place. We will be going back just for the chicken! - horsefolk
