We just overnighted on our way west. Campground was as clean and well maintained as any I've ever seen. We had a pull-through (53) that easily accommodated our 40 ft. motorhome + pickup toad. Our site was level and easy to access. Water and electric worked fine. We had good AT&T cell coverage and a few network TV stations from Dothan. Many large grassy areas to walk dogs, as well as lakeside. Well worth the 15 minute or so drive from I-10. - Just Dave

This campground is only 1 1/2 miles north of Chatthoochee, Florida.
We stayed here two years ago. Didn't see a any Argentine ants but it is early in the season. However we did spread ant poison and kept our electric line and water hose off the ground. We love COE parks and try to stay at them frequently. Great sunsets, satellite and phone reception on our site #1. - gatordan

This is a few miles from the interstate, but great peaceful spot to rest up or hang out. Only one negative and that is the sugar ants. Be sure to treat around any contact surface to prevent infestation. - hoganc

I am not positive of the rate as we stayed 3 weeks. Rates were less if over a week. Loved the park. Bathrooms close to swimming pool. Swimming pool clean with very nice chairs, tables, umbrella, and area around pool was very clean.
The lots are nice and wide. Campers do not sit on top of each other.
There are some people that live their in their campers, but the sites are clean and not over run. The whole park is nice and clean. Owner is quite pleasant. I would and will stay there again. - Daryl Oldenkamp

This is no longer a KOA. Directions are confusing regarding bypass, and east and west. There is a little shade around the edge. We left a message for the manager, chose our own spot, and told him we would check in in the morning to pay. I helped the office person figure out what we should pay. Terrible gnats. The manager has allowed park to degrade, with derelict units. Only okay for overnight. - Yeager

Stopped here in our Big Rig for an overnight and were very satisfied with the campground. Very clean with spacious pull through sites. The sites are grassy but most of them are level. Lots of trees on the perimeter and some of the sites but also many of them have none which helps with satellite reception. Several long-term campers but quiet and neat. The campground is across the road from the river and a park. The campground has a pool, putt-putt golf and playground for the children. We will definitely stay here again when in the area and need a stop-over campground. - John & Bobbie

Stopped at this park on the way to Florida. We had heard that there was great fishing there by a friend who lives nearby. The park is rustic, but the staff is very friendly. We went fishing (launched our friends boat off the ramp) and had a blast. Recommend this park to anyone who is a fishing fan! - WildBlueGC

Being renovated, this is primarily a fishing resort located on Lake Seminole. Has great southern style restaurant, fishing supplies, boat ramp and guide service. The campground is rustic but clean and the people that run it are just great! They have kids fishing tournaments so if there is not a Bass tornament going on, this would make nice family place. We will be going back just for the chicken! - horsefolk
