This is a beautiful COE campground on the banks of Lake Seminole. The back in mostly level gravel sites in Loop A have for the most part beautiful lake views. Electric and water were conveniently placed and worked well. OTA stations were clear and plentiful and Verizon and Sprint had good service. There is no restroom facility in Loop A, however both B&C Loops do have restrooms and showers. In addition to a fire ring and barbecue each site had a fish cleaning station. There is a large fish cleaning area with water at the entrance to the camp. In Loop B there is also a small laundry facility with $1/load washing machine and dryer. We would stay at this Campground anytime we were in the area. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.

This beautiful Corps of Engineer campgrounds is located about 15 miles north of Interstate 10 just across the Florida-Georgia line on Lake Seminole. It features 63 campsites within three loops (two of which are lakeside) with a mix of roomy, big-rig accessible pull-through and back-in sites-plus a boat ramp. Fourteen of the sites are non-reservable. The roads and some RV pads are paved and site are mostly spacious but have limited understory vegetation to afford privacy. While the campground has many large pines and hardwoods that provide some shade, I suspect many sites are open enough to allow for satellite TV reception-although some sites might require a long cable. Each site has water and electricity (30 and 50A), a nice level gravel area with table, grill, fire pit and a taller, square table that would be just right for a portable BBQ; the dump station is up the hill near the entrance station and camp hosts. AT&T service was good. There are two restroom and both have hot showers but only one has a laundry. Dogs will love all the nice green grass. We could only stayed one night but would love to return. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.

The best part about this campground, other than the senior federal rate, is the fact that there is nothing to do! No swimming beach, fishing is not good close to shore, motorboating is not good near the shore. What all of this means is that it is an exceptionally quiet place, with no noisy weekender and partiers! Also, a long way from expressways and noisy highways. My kind of place! Campsites are gravel with a few paved sites, but all are large and have water and electric. Decent Verizon cell and data service, with quite a few sites with good satellite access. All in all, this is a great place if you just want to rest and relax. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.

We scored a lakefront site for a week here. The sites are spacious, and the angle that they are laid out means that you get great views of the lake from multiple windows, without feeling like someone is next to you. There are two short trails in the park, including one that goes out to the dam. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this campground near I-10. Very peaceful and nice scenery. We have stopped by here many times now; sometimes for one night but often two or three. Just one caution; the sugar ants are present and you need to put out treatments to keep them out of your coach. They don't bite, but they can be a real problem if they go home with you. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots of ANTS. They did tell us when we came in that they where having a big ant problem. Very little shade as this campground has very few trees. The town nearby really doesn't have much to offer. Even the Restaurants are poor at best. We decided to leave after one day. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Unless you have a boat to fish the nearby lake there's just nothing else here. You can't even fish from shore because its full of rocks, Very shallow, and full of weeds. Town has nothing to offer the traveler and is rather depressing.

This campground is only 1 1/2 miles north of Chatthoochee, Florida.
We stayed here two years ago. Didn't see a any Argentine ants but it is early in the season. However we did spread ant poison and kept our electric line and water hose off the ground. We love COE parks and try to stay at them frequently. Great sunsets, satellite and phone reception on our site #1. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.

We just overnighted on our way west. Campground was as clean and well maintained as any I've ever seen. We had a pull-through (53) that easily accommodated our 40 ft. motorhome + pickup toad. Our site was level and easy to access. Water and electric worked fine. We had good AT&T cell coverage and a few network TV stations from Dothan. Many large grassy areas to walk dogs, as well as lakeside. Well worth the 15 minute or so drive from I-10. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.

This is a few miles from the interstate, but great peaceful spot to rest up or hang out. Only one negative and that is the sugar ants. Be sure to treat around any contact surface to prevent infestation. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our 3rd stay in the campground and if we're ever back in the area, we'll stay there again. Typical COE campground -- very nicely done! Sites are nicely arranged and spaced with easy access. Nice view of the lake and plenty of room to walk in the campground. Take what you need as there is no close by shopping.

We used the laundry facility and it was clean and cheap! Much appreciated. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.

If you are coming from the east on US-90 there are no signs indicating where to turn for the campground in Chattahoochee. If you are coming from the west through Sneads on US-90 there are signs for the campground after you reach Chattahoochee. The campground is difficult to find if you don't know the area. We stayed at site B45 up on the hill where sites are well spaced and it's quiet. Down on the lake, the sites are closer together and it's noisy on the weekend. We had good access to the lake with only a short walk. Restrooms and showers were clean, but well worn. The push button water value in the showers are more of an annoyance than water saving. One shower only stayed on for a few seconds before you have to push it again. There must be another way. Except for that, this park is good. Some of the back-ins up on the hill, slope moderately down hill, but I had no problem. My site was not level. I would stay here again. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The campground is just over the state line in Georgia from Chattahoochee, Fla. There are some restaurants in Chattahoochee. If you go west on US -90 across the river you'll find Sneads, Fla. about six miles. Sneads has a few restaurants and a grocery store. Bainbridge, Ga. is about thirty miles northeast. It is a much larger city with restaurants and shopping.

We loved our stay at Eastbank. The sites are very generously sized, and the sites on the lake have amazing views. Our site #2 had a beautiful view of Lake Seminole and we saw a spectacular sunset every evening. It was so peaceful and quiet and the perfect place to get away from it all. Verizon 4G and AT&T both worked very well there. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park, rate was National Seniors pass, somewhat isolated, one grocery store a couple miles away. Larger shopping area is 18 miles. All paved roads, big rig friendly, some sites are hard surface pads, some are compacted gravel. All sits are pretty level and most will take any size rig. There are two bath houses and both are in the B loop. A and C loop all have a great view of the lake. Verizon cell and MiFi worked well, good antenna TV, most areas have a clear site for dish TV. We were in our fifth wheel, would stay again. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.
