Overall Rating:

We came for an overnighter on the Fourth of July; friends of ours had been raving about this campground to us, so we decided to check it out. Very nice layout of the park, with several sites right down by the water. The park ranger was very helpful and recommended one of the pullthrough sites down by the lake. There are three loops, two on the water and one above; the park loops are on two separate levels requiring a climb of two moderately steep hills to get out of the park. Bathrooms were very well maintained although there is no a/c and there is a sign asking not to run the exhaust fan during May Fly season - May through September. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Bring ant repellant for your rig and your vehicles. Another camper recommended Ajax sprinkled around any part of your rig/vehicle touching the ground. There are also May flies and biting flies so be prepared. There is a nearby Piggly Wiggly and Dollar General but no Walmart.

On the banks of Lake Seminole. Limited services in Bainbridge. Ran to Dollar General for bug spray to ward of Argentine ants, however none were observed.

They have rated this one of the top 10 of best water views for coe, and we agree. Beautiful and very well maintained park, and if it wasnt for the may flies would have been perfect. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.

It would be a 10 if they had sewer. Address is Bainbridge, Ga but it is actually near Chatahoochie, Fl. Argentine ants are bad. I sprayed insecticide under tires and jack pads. Lots of folks use comet cleanser around camper. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.

Gorgeous sunsets, extremely well-kept grounds, very level, many argentinian ants, fairly steep incline to access, no sewer hookups, fire rings, picnic tables, prep tables and lantern hook at each site, Safe and secure feeling. We met friends here, and are happy they directed us to this one! It is now added to our regular list of stops at an excellent price! We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.

Not sure how I misread the web information, (after reading for many parks) but I thought it was FCFS, and upon arrival, found the campground was full, with no walk-ups available. The hosts in the booth were very nice, and the called River Junction COE Campground, just two miles up the road. Not listed anywhere, you even have to dig for it on the Corps of Engineers website. It was available on FCFS only. Simple, 11 sites of more than adequate size for our 36ft motorhome and tow. Back-in. Water, 50amp, picnic tables, fire rings, separate tent sites, restrooms with showers, and a lake view filtered through trees. What's to complain about? We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

There are three loops to this campground and we thought the A loop was the nicest overall. There was better water frontage and generally larger sites with more space between them. Our site, 1, was very long, had a huge rear yard with no neighbors behind us and great views of the lake. There is a big problem with ants in the entire campground though. In two years of full timing, this was the first time we had an ant infestation in the RV. Ant poison and spraying around jack pads and tires quickly solved the problem, but be aware and spray around the outside before you get ants inside! A pretty quiet and relaxing park with not a lot to do in the area, which looks to be pretty depressed. No decent grocery stores nearby, so stock up before arriving. One ding, our fire pit wasn't cleaned out and for some reason stunk pretty bad. We had good AT&T hotspot coverage and clear sky at our site for satellite reception. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.

Another great COE RV Park located on Lake Seminole. Spacious sites with electric and water hookups, a picnic table, BBQ stand and a fire pit. Just outside of town in the woods bordering the lake. Nice a quiet. Well worth a short stay while traveling through. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful COE campground on the banks of Lake Seminole. The back in mostly level gravel sites in Loop A have for the most part beautiful lake views. Electric and water were conveniently placed and worked well. OTA stations were clear and plentiful and Verizon and Sprint had good service. There is no restroom facility in Loop A, however both B&C Loops do have restrooms and showers. In addition to a fire ring and barbecue each site had a fish cleaning station. There is a large fish cleaning area with water at the entrance to the camp. In Loop B there is also a small laundry facility with $1/load washing machine and dryer. We would stay at this Campground anytime we were in the area. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This beautiful Corps of Engineer campgrounds is located about 15 miles north of Interstate 10 just across the Florida-Georgia line on Lake Seminole. It features 63 campsites within three loops (two of which are lakeside) with a mix of roomy, big-rig accessible pull-through and back-in sites-plus a boat ramp. Fourteen of the sites are non-reservable. The roads and some RV pads are paved and site are mostly spacious but have limited understory vegetation to afford privacy. While the campground has many large pines and hardwoods that provide some shade, I suspect many sites are open enough to allow for satellite TV reception-although some sites might require a long cable. Each site has water and electricity (30 and 50A), a nice level gravel area with table, grill, fire pit and a taller, square table that would be just right for a portable BBQ; the dump station is up the hill near the entrance station and camp hosts. AT&T service was good. There are two restroom and both have hot showers but only one has a laundry. Dogs will love all the nice green grass. We could only stayed one night but would love to return. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Fifth Wheel.

The best part about this campground, other than the senior federal rate, is the fact that there is nothing to do! No swimming beach, fishing is not good close to shore, motorboating is not good near the shore. What all of this means is that it is an exceptionally quiet place, with no noisy weekender and partiers! Also, a long way from expressways and noisy highways. My kind of place! Campsites are gravel with a few paved sites, but all are large and have water and electric. Decent Verizon cell and data service, with quite a few sites with good satellite access. All in all, this is a great place if you just want to rest and relax. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.
