Since I was just staying overnight, and had no children to enjoy all of the activities, the price was a little too high but for a family planning to stay a couple of days, there always seemed to be things for the kids to do. Although the sites are level they are terraced, so that your utility hook-ups are down a short embankment from your trailer. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

Had read and heard from others that Jellystone is great when camping with kids. We usually camp state parks but I realized this would not be that kind of experience. The pool is nice and other than overflowing dumpster on the weekend, the park is clean and facilities nice. What surprised me is how many of the sites are filled with long-term residents - they appear to be construction type workers, mostly men alone but some with families. I have no issues with them - hard-working men who left early, came back late, and were unobtrusive neighbors. My issue is that a mostly residential/ working park doesn't fit the advertised image of a family fun vacation park. I would not come back here despite friendly helpful staff - it felt like we were trying to vacation in someone's driveway. Back to the state parks for us! We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

Just an overnight. It is a bit off the Hwy, but very quiet. Would be a great place for kids, of which there were many. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful park for children, with planned activities (Fri, Sat, Sun) and the pool, jump pad, playgrounds, sand box & arcade, the children keep busy. Our grandchildren loved the park, their only complaint was there were no other children to play with until Friday evening when some campers came in. The park was full when we arrived on Wed, but we later found out that they are all full timers that work for a contracted company, we were told that the contract will be finished in May and they will go to the next location. Even though our grandchildren enjoyed their trip, had I known this before hand I would of picked a different campground with more children and camped at this one in June. While we were there they were laying new sod at the camp sites which badly needed some and they could use some new gravel to help with leveling. I would recommend this park to anyone who has children or grandchildren, it is worth the money, we will visit again next year, but I will call and ask questions first. I will say the staff is great and very accommodating. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Clean and easily accessible sites. Campground was quiet, the only issue we had was it is close to amtrak train tracks and it ran several times throughout the night. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

We decided to stay here for an overnight after cancelling our reservation at a campground in Anniston because of their restrictive dog walking policy. Jellystone was a good decision. It is an easy drive from the highway and a quiet well maintained park (we were there during the week). Its unusual design of 2 concentric circles with grass and woods around the perimeter makes for very nice dog walking. We had some problems getting level in our narrow pull through spot but did succeed after a few tries. I wouldn't try this in a motorhome any bigger than our 38 footer though. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

This is a modern park. Extremely clean and well maintained. Main building is new and high end. There are large turtles, alligator, and bird displays. Kid activities all over the place. I was blown away how nice this campground is. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at this park one night on our way to the beach. The main part of the park is very well kept. The pool, bathhouses were all extremely clean and inviting. My biggest issue was the site we were given was gravel and extremely uneven. We actually had to pull our fifth wheel onto a mound of gravel. Our neighbors didn't clean up after their dogs. My husband immediately stepped in dog poo when he exited the truck. We spent more time than usual trying to get our camper level for the night. And during our stay we had to clean up after the neighbors dogs (3 of them). We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A little difficult to get to from interstate but manageable. Lots are very close with sunny/open exposures. Site was a concrete pad featuring a fire ring and picnic table.

Overall not a bad place to stay. Owner and partner are a little neurotic but good people in general. They have some strange rules. They have posted speed limits of 5 1/2 mile per hour or they will fine you. They are strict about cleaning up after your dog which is a good thing. Their facilities are in real good shape and it is family oriented. The only problems I saw was the dock on their fishing pond needs to be repaired or replaced. The water pipes that feed the RV need replacing. I had a lot of sediment and rust in my water requiring me to purchase additional water filtration. Their wireless and broadband access sucks. A little pricey for monthly stays like myself. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Overnight stop on a Monday evening. Check in staff was nice, they escorted us to our site which was nice since there was a heavy rain. The one dumpster was more than overflowing from the weekend's activities - they were huge piles of garbage stacked up all around the dumpster so it was obvious there weren't enough trash receptacles to handle the entire park. I thought it was expensive for just an overnight, but would have been an acceptable price for a family using the amenities. We probably won't stay at a Jellystone again just because of the price value. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice people, well kept and clean. The pool looks very inviting but its only 65 so we didn't go in.

I would return with my grand kids, lots for them to do and everything is well maintained. Lot spacing was nearby with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface was gravel and grass, featuring a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed one night. We had a long level gravel pull thru near the front of the park so it was easy in and out. Internal roads are paved. We didn't take Direct TV but you pay extra if you do. The sites are close but at an angle so you're not looking directly into someone else's rig. Heavy rain made our site muddy. Water pressure was weak and wifi was non-existent at our site. It's about 3 miles off the interstate on 2-lane roads. You go thru the town of Waco to get here which has one stop sign and no traffic. They don't mention on their website or at check-in that they accept Passport America. You have to ask and show them your card. We would return. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

You couldn't get the sites any tighter than this park. In December they were about 70% full, most of these were workers firing up their truck engines starting at 5 AM. Sites are so close the fire rings are a joke. The wi-fi is not usable it is so weak. We camped at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.
