We really like this park! All the sites are concrete and most are pull thru unless you want a lake view site. Trash is picked up every morning at your site, and laundry room and restrooms are spotless. The close proximity to Jekyll and St. Simon's Islands make this the perfect park for those who like to bike ride. We've been here several times and will definitely come back again. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed for 2 days on the way to Florida. The facilities are well maintained and clean. The park is kept clean and presentable. The roads were a little narrow, but not that bad, we were camping in a 35' motorhome with motorcycle trailer and maneuvered without issue. The cable system was good and the wifi was so so. We planned for a night and stayed two to explore Jekyll and St Simons Islands which were worth the day trip. We would definitely return to this park if in the area. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nice restraunts and shops at the pier on St Simons Island.

Long level paved FHU site with cable. Poor WIFI. Clean nice park. Roads are a bit narrow for turns. Convenient to interstate but not noticeable road noise. We would stay again as an overnight, to visit the area for a few days, or for a group get together. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This resort is conveniently located off I-95. Signage to the RV resort was helpful (blue signs with white lettering). Office staff was helpful. Utilities for site hookups were new and the park is nicely maintained. The only negative item is the width of all roads. They are paved but not wide enough for a big rig, especially with tow car attached, to turn into the assigned site without running over the grass. Any motorhome over 38' would be well-advised to unhook the tow car before going to the site. We camped here in a 42' motorhome, towing a Jeep. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Gas stations/truck stops are available at the exit - Flying J, Love's, TA. There is a Winn-Dixie grocery nearby as well as a good sub shop, Waffle House, and Dunkin' Donut. Interesting sites in the Brunswick area include Jekyll Island, Saint Simons Island, Fort Frederica area.

Staff was friendly and the check in was quick. The space was long and level concrete. The problem is the spaces are fairly narrow, 11 ft, and there is no curving of the entry and exit points to allow for the turning radius of a 5th wheel making it difficult to avoid going on to the soft grass. The pad was surrounded by grass that did not drain well and with the heavy summer rains it was a bit of a quagmire. The patio extension was basically standing water. Heavy summer rains are normal so the owner's should have taken this into consideration and created better drainage for the sites.

They do have a separate water source at the sites to wash your RV or vehicle, which is nice.

The park is convenient to the freeway but far enough so it was quiet. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This location was clearly designed by and built for RV'ers. Driveways are ample width and paved. All the sites are concrete pads with ample length for any size RV. Most all the sites are drive-thru, however, there are a few back-ins available along the lakefront. Since it seems a fairly new park - there are not any trees. But the owners have placed a row of shrubs and sodded between all the sites. This is a very nice feature. We only stayed here twice as we were traveling I-95, however, it would be a good 'base camp' location if you were visiting anywhere in this area. The staff was friendly and we would definitely recommend this location. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

About a mile off I-95 at exit 29. However, the large forested area seems to block all the truck traffic noise.

Spent 1 night here while traveling. Newer park, Very nice. Only down side is lack of shade. But sites are nice and clean. People were friendly and helpful. Nice pond for fishing. Also close to interstate but not noisy. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Spent the 4th of July with some amazing people and a spectacular firework show for the young ones!! As a family coming from the North we found the epitome of Southern Hospitality!! We participated in the 4th BBQ which the campground supplied the meat (BBQ Pork & Chicken) the campers supplied homemade (some store bought) side dishes and deserts. The tables were packed with food and people and it all started with a blessing in honor of our country, our troops and our first responders. One other event to detail the type of people Georgia had to offer (as most campers were not from out of state)... We had gone into Jekyll and a storm moved in quickly, I had accidently left out my awning and I returned to it tied down by two fellow campers!! To quote one said "We've gotta take care of each other"!!

Only negatives to the park is the lack of shade and a bit of a sulfur odor which comes from the main building, they may have a water recycling center somewhere near.

Would recommend highly especially because of how close it is to Jekyll and St Simons Islands!! We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Sites are long but could be considered narrow for the really big rigs. We noticed sites with torn up grass because it appeared they did not have enough room to get in or out of the sites. That being said, if you know how to drive your RV you should be okay. Cable is satellite broadcast through cable - not HD, but okay. Signal strength through antenna TV is good. You will pick up Jacksonville, FL stations. Electric, water and sewer services are good. Rates are $40/nt, or $240/wk. We used our Good Sams card for a 10% discount. We did not use the bathhouses, but they appeared to be nice. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The beach on St. Simons Island was nice!

Easy access off I-95. New park with paved interior roads and site drives. Most sites are pull through with back-ins along the perimeter. WiFi was good and cell service as well. Minimal trees so satellite TV was good. Decent green space between neighbors. All buildings are newer and substantial. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Convenient to I-95. Stayed two nights to visit Jekyll Island and St Simon's Island. The park was clean, nicely landscaped and quiet. We relaxed by the swimming pool after a day of travel. We would stay here again. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice new campground!! Very clean and well maintained. Slots are concrete and level, but narrow. When the trees and bushes grow there will be good shade and privacy. Huge plus having a separate water supply they let you use to wash your rig (no extra charge!). Will definitely be staying here again! We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Sites are tight for the price. The pool was very nice and the bathhouse in excellent condition. The back in site we were assigned was shallow to park our towed vehicle in front, we got it there but it almost touched the front of the front of our 40' motorhome. Our picnic table was shot, needed to be replaced. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.
