The park was very clean and quiet. All roads are paved. There is some noise from the interstate on the loop we stayed in but not a problem. The Wi-Fi was very good but the cable had a lot of noise lines in it. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants, etc. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed twice, on the way to Orlando and on the way back. Both times we were pleasantly greeted in the office. The park is very nice with long, flat sites. We did have some difficulty turning into our site with our 40' MH and tow but made it with our tow on the grass. Pulling out was easy. Didn't use the restrooms or the showers. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Florida. Remember to follow the instructions you receive from the park and not to use the GPS. The GPS will get you there, but their instructions are much easier. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Conveniently located park right off I-95 with good sites and amenities. The park has a nice pool, bathroom and shower facility along with a pavilion to hold events that need more seating. The sites are all concrete, flat and easy to navigate with plenty of room for a tow vehicle. The park provides cable service and decent wifi. We enjoyed our stay here and will be returning to do more exploring of the GA coast. See our full reviews and all of the pictures at our blog at thegilliamsisland. Overall Rating:

Very nice attractive campground. Buildings, grounds and pool are very attractive and well maintained. Most sites are pull throughs long enough to fit my 45 ft MH and toad. Roads are paved and wide enough to maneuver around. Sites are level paved and easy to maneuver into with row of privacy shrubs on each side, grass and a picnic table. Sites are spacious and open with good satellite access. They pick up trash daily. A nice lake borders one side of campground with a dock and pavilion on the lake. The campground is convenient to I-95 and about 8 miles to Brunswick. The only reason I did not rate higher was the wifi was terrible. They even tell you streaming is not allowed as if you could even try. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. Pull-thrus are a bit tight, so you may have to disconnect to get lined up for the hook-ups. The sites are all paved with grass and privacy shrubbery between sites, which is very nice. Again, it's a bit tight so there are a lot of sites where people have formed a ditch in the grass from trying to get out of their spot. We don't use wifi, so can't comment on this. Easy on and off the freeway. The park is located in a safe area close to Brunswick, St. Simons and Jekyll Islands. We would recommend this RV park. Site was a full hookup, pull through. Clean and spacious w/landscaped bushes between each providing some privacy. Cement with patio, picnic bench and grill. Bathrooms, showers and laundry were very clean. Nice sized pool and a dog park. We didn't use them but also a game room, meeting pavilion and dock by the lake behind the park. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

A beautiful park will a pool, dog walk and all paved roads. Each site is on a concrete pad with nice grass and landscaping between the sites. All utilities provided and worked fine including wifi and cable TV. And did mention that most of the sites are pull-through except sites along the outer parameter. There were several rigs in what appeared to be overflow in the parking lot. But we felt save and secure in the campground but not happy paying an extrs $2.00 for extra travelers. Tips for other Campers:

Zachry's Seafood Restaurant is just a few blocks away and is a "wonderful" place for fresh South Georgia seafood. And if going to Jekyll Island there is a toll booth at the island entrance which is not user friendly if in a high tow vehicle; just go inside the visitors center and purchase your toll pass.

I don't give a lot of 10's out... but for the I95 traveler this park is great. We just overnighted but the place is new and squeaky clean with near perfect pull through sites and good wifi and cable. The restrooms/showers are immaculate. It would also be a great place to stage for day trips to Brunswick, St. Simons, and Jekyll islands & beaches. If you like campfires & woods...this is not the place... but if you're headed down I95...this place is an Oasis that stands above most of the other parks that are close enough for overnight stops. Stayed in this park for a week and really like it a lot. The long pull through sites are excellent with nicely shrubbed barriers for privacy. The interior roads are nicely paved and wide enough for big rigs. The pedestal utilities are smartly laid out for ease of access. The folks that work in the park are helpful and want to ensure you have a good stay. Easy access to I-95 a big plus. Only improvements that would be nice are 1) a better cable TV package with more selection and 2) a fitness room to work out. Other than that, this park is a model for how RV parks should be laid out. Other reviews note this is a newer RV park but, if so, whomever laid it out did not fully appreciate the space needed to maneuver larger RV's. Check in was easy and the sites are level concrete pads. However the roads are a bit tight and too narrow to allow entry into the site without driving on the grass. You can see evidence of that throughout the RV park. The facility seemed well maintained. Coastal Georgia RV Park is a relatively new park with well-angled, paved spaces with a little grass between them. We were right across the road from the restroom-shower-small laundry building, which made washing clothes there very convenient. The friendly, helpful staff also allowed RV washing at the sites, which we also took advantage of because we had not washed the 5th wheel since leaving Colorado. Expensive (for us) and a lot of traffic noise from I-95, but convenient for visiting really enjoyable St. Simon's Island lighthouse, Fort King George, and Iguanas Seafood Restaurant.
