The site was level and easy to navigate. We had a great view of the creek just feet from the campsite. I did notice quite a number of long-term guest. We used the driving range and had a lot of fun. The town of Cave Spring is only about 2 miles away. I would recommend you bring an empty water jug and fill it at the natural spring in the park downtown. The wifi worked pretty good. I would stay here again but I would try to stay closer to the rear of the campground so I would not hear the cars on the main road. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Fifth Wheel.

Bring an adapter if you only have 30amp service. They only have 50amp service and no normal 15amp outlets for hookups. Stay near the back of the campground.

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

When I called to reserve a spot, I was quoted 25.00 per night, 150.00 per week, when I got there 2 days later it was 35.00 per night and 195.00 per week, absolutely no shaded lots in middle of hay field with a little gravel down for sites. They only had a 50 amp hookup, but conveniently they had 50 to 30 amp reducers for 25.95, when the same one is 6.00 at Walmart 25 miles away. The sewer was a terrible hookup. The restrooms and shower for men were filthy dirty, with very old and dirty urinals, commodes and shower area, if I owned hogs I would not wash them in this area! I worked on hot water tank on my unit for 2 hours to find problem, no hot water when the problem the whole time was low water pressure from camp area and the manager working on it drove by me 3 times working on pressure and never said a word to me! My dad was in hospital in Rome from a stroke and this is the reason I stayed there. After 2 days my mother was taken to hospital in Louisville, Ky. where I live. I had paid 195.00 for a week, stayed 2 days, asked the manager for some refund maybe split it with me being how it happened, he laughed at me and said we do not do refunds, so I paid 195.00 for 2 nights. I would stay in Wal-Mart parking lot, before I would stay here. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Campground is just outside of a pretty little town off the beaten path. We traveled on US 411, which is hilly and winding. It is a bit narrow for a US highway, but the pavement was fairly smooth. The park is on a large beautiful stream and many of the sites are creek front. We stayed on lot 8 and it was hard level gravel. Our 41 foot motor home with 3 slides and our towed fit with room to spare. The internet was not working at first, but they reset it and it was working well enough for me to read emails and post this. They have propane and we were glad to get that taken care of before we parked. We did not use the showers or toilets, however the camp store and office were clean and tidy. For a Monday at the end of October, they seemed busy and there were not many empty spots. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Motorhome.

The office staff and camp host were friendly and helpful. We ate at La Cabania Mexican restaurant, on US 411, just west of town. The food and service as good and the prices reasonable.

Overall Rating:

Beautiful area and parked right along the stream. Site size okay, but only a gravel parking lot with numbers on stake. We needed to have 30 amp, so our checkin person loaned us an adaptor to be returned to the office in the morning. Off the beaten path and friendly folks around. The women's restroom was spartan but mostly clean. Husband says that the men's was deplorable and filthy. Only park we know of near Cave Spring. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Motorhome.

Cave Spring nearby was a nice little town. Kayaking could be fun but the river was very low. Check to be sure the river is high enough.

Daily rate based upon $195.00 weekly rate. Nice park next to a creek that is used all summer by kayaks, canoes, and float tubes. Can get noisy during the day for sites along the creek. The park has float trips and rentals and a driving range. Ask for a shady site next to the creek. The others are out in the sun. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

The park is located immediately adjacent to US Route 411 and easily accommodated our 40 ft motorhome. Sites include full hook-ups. Most sites are back-in but there are several pull-throughs. The pull-throughs are long and level but many are narrow with barely enough room to put out slides on both sides. Many of the back-in sites are very sloped (front to rear) requiring several inches of boards or blocks to reach level. Power, water, and sewer connections were all good but the power pedestals have only a 50 amp plug and require an adapter for units needing 30 amps. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and does a good job of maintaining order in a campground with many long-term residents and many weekend water-sports enthusiasts. The quality of the wifi varies with time of day and occupancy but is, in general, one of the better campground wifis. They have multiple repeaters so signal strength is generally pretty good. Most, though not all, sites are satellite friendly. There are no over the air channels available. We had good AT&T 4G LTE signal. The restrooms were clean but dated. We did not use the laundry. The store has an extensive selection of kayaks and gear. While they do not have a pool, they are located on a very nice creek with swimming, fishing, canoeing, tubing, and kayaking available. They welcome pets with the usual restrictions but this is a rural park so stray animals sometimes wander into the park. The town of Cave Spring is located about 2 miles away and has a small grocery store and a few small restaurants including a very nice steakhouse. The town of Rome, GA, with more to offer is about 15 miles away. Because we stayed monthly our average cost was only $10/night. They do offer Passport America and Good Sam Club discounts. If visiting the Rome, GA area, this is the closest campground with good "big rig" access and it is definitely a favorite weekend get-away for folks in the area. When visiting Rome, we will definitely stay here again. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The staff are all friendly and helpful. The park is adequate but not a lot more than a parking lot, although the lots on the creek side are a bit nicer. (We stayed mountainside.) We likely wouldn't stay here again, as there is nothing that makes this park 'stand out' and it is about 40 miles from the interstate in the 'middle' of nowhere. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Passport America. Very nice park in a beautiful setting of rolling hills and a stream. Bathrooms are old but clean. We only stayed overnight but wished we could have stayed longer. Can recommend park and we would return if we came through the area again. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Motorhome.

If you have not visited this RV park, you are missing a treat. Sites are spacious and well-maintained - easy in and out. Views - creek or mountain - are wonderful. The staff's attention to details is apparent everywhere. Sorry we could stay only two nights this visit. Love the area. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for 6 nights because we had family in the area. Rate reflects a combination of weekday Passport America and weekend regular rate. Nice gravel area. Right on a creek with boat rentals, tubing, etc. Clean and quite. We had stayed her several years ago and will be back. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Motorhome.

What a piece of paradise! We camped here for one night on a stream-side site. The owner of the park lent us a 50-30 amp converter so we could have the executive creek site. The sites are level and the campground is clean. There is a driving range and a very well stocked store for kayakers. They do a river float where they drop you off five miles upriver and you can float back down in your tube or kayak. I am excited to come back here one day. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Motorhome.

We stayed here because we had family in the area. We had a creek side site and it was very nice. No cable TV, but that wasn't a problem for us. Nice gravel sites. Water pressure was a little low. They have lots of water related activities. Nice office with supplies available. We will be back. We camped at Cedar Creek Park RV & Driving Range in a Motorhome.
