This is a very nice RV Park. The staff were very friendly, and they just updated their WiFi so it actually worked very well! Our pull thru site was a spacious and well maintained. It is a very convenient location to visit both Helen and Dahlonega (Gold Mining!). It is very quiet and peaceful, I would guess that 75% were long time residents but it had a very comfy feel. They even have a private area in the back where they sell spots. The lake was very nice and had lots of ducks walking around. The pool and playground were lacking especially if you are traveling with younger kids. They have a basketball hoop setup in the grass, nice horseshoe pit and corn-hole set as well. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Travel Trailer.

Convenient location to visit the mountains. Very quiet and peaceful. Spotlessly maintained older campground with gravel interior roads and sites. Our long pull thru site was level. Mostly easy to maneuver with a long rig. Different areas for owners, long term and short term guests. Staff is efficient. Sent us to our site to hook up and get comfortable before we completed the paperwork. Enjoyed walking our Jack Russells around the pretty pond. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Fifth Wheel.

Enjoyed our stay here very much! The staff is polite and helpful. Very easy to get in and out of. Grounds are so pretty. They found a spot for us in the extended stay area. The campers/residents were friendly. Very peaceful setting. There was a lot of road noise where we were, other areas looked quieter. Lots of smiles in a full campground! Can't wait to go back. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Tent Trailer.

This is a nice park but it does not have Cable TV and the WiFi was terrible, at least where we were parked. We don't have Satellite and depend on over-the-air stations when cable is not available. We usually can find at least one Major network for weather and news. At this park we were only able to find three generic stations that played old movies and/or old TV series. This was frustrating. The sites are gravel and grass and fairly level. Some sites have trees and shade. Others are in direct sun, as ours was. The regular rate for a FHU site is $36 which we thought was a bit too high for no Cable and worthless WiFi. They do have a pool and a nice community room. We didn't use any of the other facilities so I can't tell you anything about them. The lady who checked us in was nice and they did work on the road right away when it washed out after a gully-washing rain storm. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Motorhome.

Park was easy to access and convenient to the surrounding area. We were here to see the trail head for the Appalachian Trail. We seemed fortunate to have a very easy, lengthy back-in site as some of the sites looked tough to get into. WiFi was nonexistent but sometimes that's to be expected in remote locations and it is good to go without once in awhile! The park was clean and well kept with the monthlies separated from the short timers. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Make the trip over to Helen; very cute Bavarian themed town with great restaurants and window shopping.

Beautiful, well kept park. It appears that permanents are in their own area, away from short timers. Really friendly staff that appreciates military, law enforcement, firefighters and others who serve the community/country. Only negative is that the WiFi seemed sort of iffy. Catch & release pond available. Would return again if in the area for overnight or a couple of weeks. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Convenient to Alpine Village of Helen GA. Going South from Cleveland on Hwy 129, we missed the sign and had to do a U-Turn. Right at first red light past the car dealers.

This park was nice for our purpose. It's convenient to local attractions and easy to access. We had a neighbor close by but they were extremely nice so it didn't bother us. The site was level gravel and the utilities worked well. The staff was very helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Fifth Wheel.

Very scenic area of North Georgia. Campground is just fair. Wifi almost non-existant. Over the air tv channels are very hit and miss. Cell service w/att barely works. Pads are gravel and muddy after heavy rains. Some sites are very hard to get into. Most are back-ins. Laundry has new high capacity machines and clean. Our site backed up to highway and was quite noisy with big trucks even though the road signs say "no through trucks". We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Helen and Delongha are scenic and fun to walk around, although get very congested on warm weekends. Various state parks and other sights worth the trip. We would look at other parks when we come back.

Although the rates were good and some of the areas OK (but see below) the many long term RVs and trailers tended toward moderate to downright trashy. Thankfully these were largely grouped in one area and avoidable. The swimming pool is far from the toilets resulting in the pool being used as a commode. Often the bathroom doors were either not operable or locked. The gravel roads were washed out in many places and many sites were flooded after a moderate rain. We would never go back. The only good thing is the proximity to Georgia mountain sightseeing although there are several nice state parks much closer in. The closest town, Cleveland, is the pits but does have a new Walmart. Great little place, where we were was a little tight getting a 40 footer in and out. Lots to see and do in the area. We were here as part of a HR rally. Received a 10 % Veterans discount. Would come back. Cell reception for AT&T adequate. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Motorhome.

Yes they give a "military" discount, which is very nice. Close to Helen, and other North Georgia areas. Poor interior roads, with steep slippery gravel. The sites are narrow and close together. Fishing pond is smelly, as is the run off ditch. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Motorhome.

Nice park. I would have rated it higher if the spaces between some sites would have been nicer on the pull through sites. It is convenient to stores, gas and not to far from Helen. Bathrooms are clean. Pool area is nice and clean. Bring your fishing pole. Nice laundry if you accumulate too many wet towels. They do take reservations and are not on a first come-first serve basis as some parks I called were, or a member only park. We used a military discount. Thank you Leisure Acres for honoring those who have served. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great campground. We were with a camping club and used the clubhouse which was very nice. We liked it so much that we reserved sites for ourselves and 3 other friends for a later date. Staff was very friendly. We camped at Leisure Acres Campground, Inc in a Motorhome.
