Very convenient park with lovely views. Easy in and out for big rigs. FHU with cable TV. Wi-Fi is a joke so if you need it for connecting with work or family you will be disappointed. Laundry was very clean, but a bit pricy from other campgrounds.

Lots of space to walk your dog and a dog pen. Would be nice if people would pick up after their pet. This is an ongoing problem in parks. If you aren't willing to pick up then don't have a dog. It's that simple. In spite of a $15 fine for not doing so, we had several instances where we had to wash off our shoes: not pleasant. Of course, you have to catch the violators.

Picnic table at site, 2 pools, playground, community center, lots of activities if you want to join them. Or you can just relax at your site or the indoor adults only pool. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Rate is based on weekly stay and is very reasonable for the mountains of GA/NC. Very pretty park with mountain views. Site was level gravel back-in. Paved or pull-through sites not available at weekly rate. Our first site was too narrow for slides and awnings. Staff was very accommodating and helpful on changing sites. Outdoor pool very small but there is a huge indoor spa which is adults only. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Nice RV Park up in the mountains. Nice large sites with full hookups. Wifi didn't work, however. Lots of amenities such as inside and outside pools, etc., but we did not use them. We were given spots that backed up to the main hwy, but noise was not a problem at night. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

This is a nice family campground in a park setting with lots of young trees. Interior roads are blacktopped. And the gravel pads are level. There is an outdoor pool as well as a smaller heated indoor pool and sauna, and a large clubhouse with kitchen facilities. I would have given it a 5 star rating, except that the internet service is terrible even though there are 2 repeaters with strong signal levels. Connection is extremely slow. And once connected, surfing is impossible. Verizon phone service & mobile data are also weak. The rumble of motorcycles in the morning and at night in the campground was very annoying. I was on Site 15. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Plenty of experience with this area but first time staying at River Vista. Staff checked us into a lot backing up to their creek. Level site with full hookups, cable and easy walk to the showers/hot tub. Showers were clean with excellent water pressure. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of nice restaurants in Dillard and Clayton as well as Franklin, NC. All within easy drive. Or go to Highlands or Cashiers which have more upscale fare. We loved the easy going pace of the local towns. Universal Joint has a great burger and Rusty Bike Café a nice breakfast.

Wonderful place. Beautiful scenery, very pleasant and helpful staff, RV sites are well-placed and spacious. Lovely pool, hot tub. Great place to wander and walk and meet friendly people. Can't wait to come back. Perfect place to escape the summer heat. Park is a mix of full-time cabins and RV spaces and has lots for sale, but still many rentals available. Not especially cheap, but worth the cost for sure. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Lots of antiquing, stores, shops, and restaurants nearby. Within an hour of Cherokee Reservation and Casino. Several very nice state parks just minutes away. Dillard House Restaurant is good for Southern family style (fixed menu) dinner.

This is an excellent campground surrounded by the N. Ga. mountains, so the views are beautiful. The FHU sites are gravel, level, and spacious. There is plenty of space between sites. Lots of cable channels, and the WiFi is good. The CG is very clean and quiet. Plenty of space to walk the dog as well as a designated pet area. The rate reflects a GS discount for 1 night as well as a weekly rate. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed. It's easy access off Hwy 441-about 1 mile-and close to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be back. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

This is a great RV resort. Most of the sites are gravel and one would expect paved or concrete sites for a resort type park. But the quality of the overall development outweighs that minor drawback. The spaces are very wide and provide ample green between sites. The rate is an exceptional value given the quality of the facilities and development. A fenced dog run would be a nice addition to round the park out. One can see the management puts a lot of effort into maintenance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi and cable are strong. We diffidently want to come back to this fantastic RV resort! We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

On the plus side, the park is well maintained and there are lots of amenities and activities. If you have children, you might love it. But I would not stay here again. The office staff is not overly friendly or helpful. No one takes you to your site. They put large RVs in spaces that they will barely fit in, and everyone parks their vehicles all over the road, making getting around difficult. The management does not enforce quiet time and there are TVs blaring, kids screaming and dogs barking all hours of the day and night. There is one very small area to walk your dog all the way at the back of the park and no fenced dog run. The Wifi barely worked and was pretty much unusable. When I asked the office about it, they did not seem to care and said it was just because it was crowded. I felt like we paid a premium price for an overcrowded, noisy campsite. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Fifth Wheel.

River Vista Mountain Village is an excellent campground with level gravel sites, strong 50amp power service, and caring and attentive staff. While crowded, (this was during their annual Halloween event where 100% of the sites were booked), there was nonetheless plenty of activities for both children and adults to keep everyone occupied and happy. Parking was a little difficult for those that had more than one vehicle, but manageable. The decorated site contest, best costume contest, and street dance were a blast! For the amenities and the activities, the price was a bargain. We'll be back again, hopefully soon! We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Fifth Wheel.

There are plenty of great restaurants in Dillard, Franklin NC or The Highlands NC. 18 waterfalls to hike and see within an hour. Zipline just up the road, and outfitters for kayaks or tubing nearby.

We have been to Dillard, GA numerous times, but never stayed at River Vista. We loved this campground. We usually do not like campgrounds or RV resorts that have permanent or semi-permanent residents due to the cliques and standoffish nature that tends to be prevalent. The residents here made us feel like we were family. The pull-through sites were spacious. The park was very clean with many areas to walk. The laundry facility was clean. There are good restaurants and many sites to see nearby. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.
