This is an excellent campground surrounded by the N. Ga. mountains, so the views are beautiful. The FHU sites are gravel, level, and spacious. There is plenty of space between sites. Lots of cable channels, and the WiFi is good. The CG is very clean and quiet. Plenty of space to walk the dog as well as a designated pet area. The rate reflects a GS discount for 1 night as well as a weekly rate. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed. It's easy access off Hwy 441-about 1 mile-and close to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be back. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a great RV resort. Most of the sites are gravel and one would expect paved or concrete sites for a resort type park. But the quality of the overall development outweighs that minor drawback. The spaces are very wide and provide ample green between sites. The rate is an exceptional value given the quality of the facilities and development. A fenced dog run would be a nice addition to round the park out. One can see the management puts a lot of effort into maintenance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi and cable are strong. We diffidently want to come back to this fantastic RV resort! We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.Undo

On the plus side, the park is well maintained and there are lots of amenities and activities. If you have children, you might love it. But I would not stay here again. The office staff is not overly friendly or helpful. No one takes you to your site. They put large RVs in spaces that they will barely fit in, and everyone parks their vehicles all over the road, making getting around difficult. The management does not enforce quiet time and there are TVs blaring, kids screaming and dogs barking all hours of the day and night. There is one very small area to walk your dog all the way at the back of the park and no fenced dog run. The Wifi barely worked and was pretty much unusable. When I asked the office about it, they did not seem to care and said it was just because it was crowded. I felt like we paid a premium price for an overcrowded, noisy campsite. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

River Vista Mountain Village is an excellent campground with level gravel sites, strong 50amp power service, and caring and attentive staff. While crowded, (this was during their annual Halloween event where 100% of the sites were booked), there was nonetheless plenty of activities for both children and adults to keep everyone occupied and happy. Parking was a little difficult for those that had more than one vehicle, but manageable. The decorated site contest, best costume contest, and street dance were a blast! For the amenities and the activities, the price was a bargain. We'll be back again, hopefully soon! We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Fifth Wheel.
There are plenty of great restaurants in Dillard, Franklin NC or The Highlands NC. 18 waterfalls to hike and see within an hour. Zipline just up the road, and outfitters for kayaks or tubing nearby.

We have been to Dillard, GA numerous times, but never stayed at River Vista. We loved this campground. We usually do not like campgrounds or RV resorts that have permanent or semi-permanent residents due to the cliques and standoffish nature that tends to be prevalent. The residents here made us feel like we were family. The pull-through sites were spacious. The park was very clean with many areas to walk. The laundry facility was clean. There are good restaurants and many sites to see nearby. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.Undo

We try to stay here every year. Had pull thru this year and they were great as usual. Folks in office helpful and friendly and very cordial. This is a great campground, one of the finest we stay in. Verizon phone coverage was excellent and Wi-Fi was good. Cable TV had good selections and water pressure good. No complaints or negatives as usual. Will be back soon.. we stayed here for three days in October, we are located on a premium site, not much shade but good level gravel sites. there have been numerous Halloween events include haunted house, many campers competed in Halloween decorations. We stayed here because of the closeness to the Highlands. Very friendly staff, clean campground, the pool was in the process of being closed. Everything was a 9+ and would stay here again. Favorite RV park in all of Georgia for us. Planned activities for the kids, outdoor and indoor heated pool with Jacuzzi, paved roads, full hookups at reasonable rate, awesome views, and great people. We've camped here at least 15 times over the last several years. Plenty of great places to see around the area with Highlands NC just 20-30 minutes away. The kids never get tired of it and it's a great place to relax. We like to walk around the park just looking at different rigs and the cabins they have. Have never had a bad experience! Clean pretty park with level parking pads and a nice pool with hot tub. Park could use more trash containers for dog waste. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.Undo

We come to this RV resort at least once a year. Great clean place. I can't say anything bad about this place. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sites are nice and level. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.Undo

Beautiful park and nice pull-thru, big rig sites for a 45' motor home. We stayed here during heavy rains for a couple of days and had no high water issues and parked on gravel. Park attendants were very cordial. Great location for car trips to Cashiers, Highlands and the like. We will come back again. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.Undo

Very good campground. Had coupons for nearby businesses and restaurants. Swimming pool was indoors, heated/sauna. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

A very nice park with many amenities. Planning of sites can cause a problem by assigning too short a site for a larger RV. Wi-Fi at our site #76 was not usable - too slow with frequent disconnects - had to use our Verizon service. We were here at a rally. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Beautiful area. New park that is also in the RV lot sales business. Nice facilities with many large sites for rent but has many owners that summer here. Wi-Fi is weak and slow and no cell service in this area. Many dogs in park that can get annoying late at night. $45 rate is high for this area. Reservations told us one policy but it was changed on check out. We camped here 4 nights but would not come back. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.Undo

Attending a rally at this park. It's a large park with beautiful views of the mountains and nice meeting accommodations for a rally group. I'm extremely disappointed with the site we were assigned especially since I booked my reservation as soon as the rally was announced. Members of the rally group are scattered throughout the park rather than getting us all close together. The Wi-Fi reception is poor. We would stay here again for a rally but would not stay here if we were just traveling as it is not worth the regular price. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.Undo
