Super premium pull thru lot too short for 40ft Rv and 15 ft long car. Site 145 states 59 ft but could not leave car attached without sticking 5 ft into road. Website did not allow selection of site and office did not answer phone when booking. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Do not book pull thru without confirming length of site . Office did not answer phone so booking online gives generic super premium pull thru that was too short for 40 ft Rv and car .

We made reservations on line but soon realized that the site would be too small for our rig. They moved us to another site but we could only stay for 4 nights and then we would have to move to a 3rd site. They were very helpful and it wasn't their fault We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Thank you for staying with us! We do apologize that we needed to move you during your stay with us. While doing reservations online is very convenient, it does not have that personal touch like talking with a reservationist. Please be sure to contact us in the future when making reservations to ensure that you are on a site the will comfortably accommodate your unit.

We stayed for 4 nights. Park is very nice and we'll kept. Site was good and level. The only thing I did not care for is the mix of owned lots and rentals. We had two encounters with owners that were surprising. When we pulled up the owner next to us had his vehicle and a friend's parked in our site. They moved to site next to us. People renting that site knocked on our door thinking it was our vehicle. When we left today we were loading our toad and the lot across from us parked their truck right on edge of their site. A vehicle was trying to get by so I asked if they could move just a little and I was told in a very unpleasant manner that they owned this lot and no one is to drive on their gravel. The car had to turn around. Seems like the lot owners feel they own the park. Just my impression. Overall everything else was good. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

This is a gorgeous park and everyone that works here is wonderful. The heated outdoor pool was amazing and we loved the indoor hot tub (it's gigantic). The grounds are beautiful and very well cared for. People seemed to be friendly, but there was barely a soul out at night. Call me old-fashioned, but my idea of camping is sitting outside at night by the campfire and you just didn't see that there. They do not have fire pits; however, you can still have a fire as long as you bring your own and it's at least 6" off the ground. We had one so we were probably the only people outside after dark. The placement of the tree on our site (and some of the other sites around us), made it a little difficult to place the fire pit but we managed. The wifi was not extremely reliable in the evening (appeared to work better during the day so I'm not sure if that was because more people were connecting in the evening??). It appeared they were installing additional wifi antennas (or whatever you call them) the day before we left so that may improve in the future. We had no problems with AT&T cell phone service at the campground. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in one of their many short-term campsites. There was a lot of room, nestled between one of the roads and some large pine trees on the other. The staff is very nice and helpful. The park is very clean. The pool was being refurbished, but was to be open by Memorial Day. The indoor hot tub and sauna were wonderful. There is a lot to do in the area. Plenty of state/national parks with miles and miles of trails, many waterfalls in the area, follow the wine highway (if you like wine), enjoy the zip-lining course just over the NC state line, go antiquing, etc. If you are bored, it is your own fault! The towns around here have a decent number and variety of restaurants, stores, etc. This is our second time here and we have enjoyed our stay both times. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Do not miss the turn-in on the right as you head east on 246 to the campground. The road gets very steep and winding soon after. We missed the entrance the first time and the road gets REAL EXCITING!

This is one of the most Beautiful RV Facilities we have visited. The sites were roomy and neatly laid out. We had WIFI and Cable TV and the water pressure was great. We met some really nice people while there. We will be returning soon. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

One Day we went to Highlands NC. and Franklin NC>one day. The next day we went to Murphy NC. and Hiawassee, Ga. Also went to Brass Town Bald while there. About a 3 miles up a steep road. Do not pull a trailer up there. Park it at the bottom of the road. We also visited Blackrock Mountain State park to see if we want to go there sometime. We were also close enough to eat at "The Dillard House" !

Overall this is a very nice park. It is close to US Hwy 441 and in a beautiful area. There are many waterfalls, zip lines, at least one winery, and places to go hiking. Most of the rental sites are stone and are back in and are small. There is a pool a large indoor whirlpool and a dry sauna....all very nice. It appeared that on weekends they have activities for kids too. The wifi is a little weak at times, but better than in a lot of parks. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Great park. Combination of owners and renters. Our site was level, FHU, plenty of space. Park has home owner section, RV owner spaces, and overnight spaces. Good paved roads, grass, pool, etc. Anytime we are in the area we will stay there. Camped in a 44' MH. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Very convenient park with lovely views. Easy in and out for big rigs. FHU with cable TV. Wi-Fi is a joke so if you need it for connecting with work or family you will be disappointed. Laundry was very clean, but a bit pricy from other campgrounds.

Lots of space to walk your dog and a dog pen. Would be nice if people would pick up after their pet. This is an ongoing problem in parks. If you aren't willing to pick up then don't have a dog. It's that simple. In spite of a $15 fine for not doing so, we had several instances where we had to wash off our shoes: not pleasant. Of course, you have to catch the violators.

Picnic table at site, 2 pools, playground, community center, lots of activities if you want to join them. Or you can just relax at your site or the indoor adults only pool. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Rate is based on weekly stay and is very reasonable for the mountains of GA/NC. Very pretty park with mountain views. Site was level gravel back-in. Paved or pull-through sites not available at weekly rate. Our first site was too narrow for slides and awnings. Staff was very accommodating and helpful on changing sites. Outdoor pool very small but there is a huge indoor spa which is adults only. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

Nice RV Park up in the mountains. Nice large sites with full hookups. Wifi didn't work, however. Lots of amenities such as inside and outside pools, etc., but we did not use them. We were given spots that backed up to the main hwy, but noise was not a problem at night. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Motorhome.

This is a nice family campground in a park setting with lots of young trees. Interior roads are blacktopped. And the gravel pads are level. There is an outdoor pool as well as a smaller heated indoor pool and sauna, and a large clubhouse with kitchen facilities. I would have given it a 5 star rating, except that the internet service is terrible even though there are 2 repeaters with strong signal levels. Connection is extremely slow. And once connected, surfing is impossible. Verizon phone service & mobile data are also weak. The rumble of motorcycles in the morning and at night in the campground was very annoying. I was on Site 15. We camped at River Vista Mountain Village in a Fifth Wheel.
