The campsite was fairly spacious. Plenty of room for the tow vehicle and extra space for moving around. The park needs some fixing up...more gravel throughout the park and lots of pot holes need to be fixed. The area had plenty of rain of the past week or two, so the lack of gravel created some muddy spots at the sites. Wifi was not consistent. This campground does not have a pool, playground, or cable (and I couldn't receive any "air" channels), so our grandkids were very bored. Of course, I knew these things when I made our reservation. Still, there is plenty of open area for a pool and playground to be added. They do have a driving range; however, I didn't see anyone use it during the 3 days we were there. Seems to be many full-timers who live there. - jconnally

The site was level and easy to navigate. We had a great view of the creek just feet from the campsite. I did notice quite a number of long-term guest. We used the driving range and had a lot of fun. The town of Cave Spring is only about 2 miles away. I would recommend you bring an empty water jug and fill it at the natural spring in the park downtown. The wifi worked pretty good. I would stay here again but I would try to stay closer to the rear of the campground so I would not hear the cars on the main road. - walterwegozz

Campground is just outside of a pretty little town off the beaten path. We traveled on US 411, which is hilly and winding. It is a bit narrow for a US highway, but the pavement was fairly smooth. The park is on a large beautiful stream and many of the sites are creek front. We stayed on lot 8 and it was hard level gravel. Our 41 foot motor home with 3 slides and our towed fit with room to spare. The internet was not working at first, but they reset it and it was working well enough for me to read emails and post this. They have propane and we were glad to get that taken care of before we parked. We did not use the showers or toilets, however the camp store and office were clean and tidy. For a Monday at the end of October, they seemed busy and there were not many empty spots. - ahmavic
