Our first stay. It's rustic with a western flair. Close to the Interstate but not a lot of highway noise. As it was just an overnight stay, I can't comment on area recreation, restaurants or campground amenities. Would return. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Old campground with all grass and dirt sites.Niceat office personnel. . Sites were kept up.Seem to have a lot of permanent people.Nothing really to do at campground. No pool or lake for swimming. You can fish in a pond. No playground equipment for kids. They ask you to turn your A/C off when you leave your camper. In August in Georgia when it is 94 degrees off they want you to turn off A/C.
Lots of ants around. Would only come back if for overnight stay and no other choice. Nice people but no place for kids . We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

The park staff who check us in was friendly. We were unable to get satellite signal due to the trees. The over the air stations were limited and had significant interference on some of the channels. A decent stop for a night or two, but for a very basic park, the price was a bit high. Space was reasonably level and large. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out Fort Clinch on Amelia Island. St Mary's Seafood and More was good for dinner. Lulu's in Fernandina Beach was great for lunch. Sites 5 or 6 would be best for satellite signal.

This is a small family owned park and the staff is very friendly. The sites are very shaded and good sized. We stayed here a week and would stay again if in the area. It is about 1/2 mile from I-95 and at times (usually early morning) the noise level is high. Most of the time it is ok and we didn't notice it. All utilities worked well, and the WIFI was really good. There are some permanent residents but sites are well-kept. It is a great location for exploring the Kingsland/St. Marys/Kings Bay area. It is only about 20 minutes north of Jacksonville FL so easy to hit that area too. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We really enjoyed our two night stay. We have a 40ft DP and we were towing a full size trailer. Our site was large. We have 4 slides and had no problem opening and had space to spare. Our in-motion roof top satellite worked well in our spot.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The campground is charming and clean. The area is safe. The best part of this campground is it was blissfully quiet. We were able to sleep until noon which never happens for us.

The only negative is the roads are tight. Our setup is long so it was a challenge to get around. Not a deal breaker but something worth mentioning. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice gravel sites, not too close to each other. Shady area, facilities and grounds are clean and neat. Very friendly staff. Neat country motif office bldg. Lot of old farm equipment around. Fuel and food nearby. Good for one night or several while visiting nearby attractions. 50/30 amp, water, sewer at site. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Good overnight, right off I-95, Fuel stop between park and interstate. Never saw a laundry. Asked about the BBQ mentioned by previous reviewers, they knew nothing about it. Overall good location, would use again. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly neighborhood and very friendly staff. The park is well maintained. Maneuvering on the asphalt roads is a challenge for 45' but doable and tree trimming would help. Owners live on site and escort you to sites. Sites are plenty long, gravel and level. Wi-Fi service was great, as was voltage, water pressure, and sewer location. Easy getting to and from I95. A country setting only minutes from most necessities. Plenty of shade which makes the non-parking areas pretty bare, but worth the tradeoff. Directv link worked fine at Site 5. We will add this park to our return list. I rate campgrounds not on a wishlist of services, facilities and luxuries, but on how well they maintain existing services and facilities. This campground is a great overnight or longterm stay place. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. They smoke BBQ ribs on site and the guests can have a great(and I do mean "great") bbq dinner for about $14.

The ribs were excellent plus, after you provide the required time, they deliver to your site! This is on my list to visit whenever in this area. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for two months. It could not have been nicer. The staff is friendly and the park is well maintained. We really felt like we were living in a nice community. There were not a lot of strangers wandering through and the owner kept an eye on everything. There is a nice pond and a pasture with mules and guinea hens. You do hear some interstate noise but it is not overwhelming. The Kingsland and St. Mary's area is nice and you are only about 30 minutes from Jacksonville and the Amelia Island area. We would stay here again. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pricey for an overnight stop with no amenities; no cable, no pool, and WiFi unusable. Low branches and tight roads for our larger RV. Friendly owner claims satellite TV hookups but it didn't work while we were there. We would not return. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice no-frills campground easy off I-95. Fantastic Wi-Fi. Was able to update all firmwares, finally. Satellite friendly (DirecTV) on spots 4 and 5. Really liked the atmosphere. Lots of Spanish moss. Owner seemed to be running around all the time taking care of guests and greeting new ones. Trash picked up promptly. Rule asking campers to turn off AC when not in RV is real awkward. Owners need to accept this as a cost of running a campground and should not make campers feel guilty about busting rules for leaving AC running when gone. Remove the rule. I don't want to come back from sightseeing and have to cool down a 100deg RV. I will come back to this campground. For rail fans: This campground is real close to the Folkston Funnel. It is as close you will get for having a nice campground. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We LOVE this place! While many use it as a convenient one night stop-over at Georgia exit 1 (just North of the FL state line), we stayed 4 nights. Lovely moss-draped oak trees all around the sites. The owner and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Seemed genuinely happy to help us. Easy pull-through sites for big rigs. There is so much to see and do in the area - Amelia island bike trail, Fort Clinch state park, many others too much to mention. My personal Kryptonite, was right next door.... Jack's Famous BBQ. I had the Best wood-smoked BBQ ribs 3 nights in a row by just walking through the hedgerow behind my coach. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Pleasant surprise. Scenic setting with trees and greenery. Pond with mules in enclosed area. Seems well run. I did pop into the restrooms/showers and it was chilly in there, curtains instead of doors on commode areas. Close to amenities; can get delivery of foods (pizza, Chinese) if you don't want to unhook. Great BBQ restaurant next to it. I liked the dirt road beside the park as it was easier to walk the dogs and let out their leashes for more exercise. We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a clean park with continuous distant traffic noise. Sites are grass; some are sandy, some have some gravel. Sizes and amount of level vary. There are lots of trees, so sites are shady. In Autumn and Winter, leaves will fall on your roof. Roads are asphalt, a bit narrow, in very good condition. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Water pressure can be low. The water has a somewhat stale smell. Verizon LTE works well. WiFi is strong, and usually fast. Laundry: 2 top-loaders ($1.50), 2 dryers ($1.50 for 45 min.) The rate shown is the daily rate with Good Sam. Credit cards are accepted for short stays; for monthly, payment is cash or check. The total monthly rate is $452 for the first month, $428 per month for the second and third months, then $128 for the fourth month, plus electric ($0.15/kWh). We camped at Country Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
