This is a campground in transition located at exit 5 off I75 and right on the other side of the Camping World Store. One can tell there are improvements going on. Some sites have been resurfaced so that they are more level which makes it better for large rvs and the numbering system has changed. This will be an even better park when improvements are completed. There appears to be 2 sections; one is more wooded and on the other side of the lake for longer term rvs and is where the cabins are located. Behind the office is an area where the overnighters probably in most cases go. We got in late but before dark so we went into the wooded area. We are about 5 hours from our residence in S. Florida so this is a good final night or first night out stopping off place so don't pass this one by for price and amenities. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to everything a longer term rver would need. Shopping, entertainment, repairs on rv plus there is a waterpark in Valdosta for the kids.

We used this campground for a quick one night stop. Near I-75 but not too much road noise. The wifi signal was good in the motor home. There are two different areas in this campground. We stayed in the section closest to the office. The sites were small in that section but sufficient. We parked our tow vehicle in another empty site. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Located next door to Camping World.

This cg is especially good if one wants to get off the interstate & back on quickly. This is connected to Camping World so you check in at the store. For us, it was pick your own site. We were given a map & shown which spots would work for our size rig. We did a couple of drives around before we settled on a site. There's some long term people here but all sites are kept neat. There is a newer section that is open away from the trees for those with satellite. We had to go to the CW store anyway so this was an easy choice. We usually stay at the local military campgrounds but this worked for us. We would stay here again. Lots of places to eat nearby. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cracker Barrel, and other chain places to eat. Local place, Farm House, is across the interstate. Good food! Plenty of places to get gas. We go to Shell as it's easy to maneuver the gas mh around to get to the outer gas pump.

We stayed at the Good Sam Campground for three days while our motorhome was getting repairs at Camping World. Easy access on and off Interstate 75. You pay at Camping World and then go pick your own site. All roads and sites are paved and mostly level, built around a small lake as a central feature with an additional smaller section. Our pull through was adequate for our 44 ft motorhome without the car attached. There is grass between sites which are nicely spaced. The park was very quiet while we were there with few campers. No dog park per se but plenty of grass and room to walk the dog. The park is situation next to interstate 75 so there is a bit of road noise. This is a good stop for overnight or even a few days. We would stay here again. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Motorhome.

NOT closed - it has been sold and reopened as the Camping World RV Park (named for the superstore next door). We spent two nights here, and it's wonderful! You check in at the Camping World store; then they let you drive over and pick a site. There are hilltop sites with no trees for those with satellite dishes; we chose the shaded lots. All spaces are paved, with a small patio and picnic table. There's a playground, but not many amenities. The restrooms are clean, bright, and the showers are large with ample hot water. The WIFI is strong. It appears this is mainly an "overnighting" park - there's a bit of noise from I-75; but it's easy to access. For the price, this is the nicest RV park we've ever seen! The park starts filling fast around suppertime; but it's a large park with ample pull-throughs and full hookups. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Perfect if you need RV service, since Camping World is next door.

Saw their billboard and decided to take a chance. Glad we did!!! Only reason I rated them lower was because of the WIFI and no sewer hookup on our site. Other then that great stopover point. Sites are a little short for big rigs. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This was an acceptable overnight stop on I-75 southbound to the Jacksonville FL area. It was decent in all respects - efficient reception, escorted to our site, clean bathrooms - the typical KOA deal we are used to. Being so close to the interstate, you make the devil's bargain: peace and quiet off in the boondocks, or convenient on and off the interstate with the accompanying highway noise: you make the call. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Motorhome.

This park suffered for a few years from ho hum management but we are very impressed with the latest staff. We were checked in quickly and escorted to our site. I asked about places to have our motorhome washed, and the gal in the office called a local company for us and got all the particulars. We were made to feel very welcome. Other than the staff, the best thing about this park is its proximity to I-75. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Motorhome.

Rate is with KOA card and points. Stayed one night, convenient to I75. Paved roads and sites; water, electric, sewer, wifi (worked well) and cable all included. They are turning the back two rows into one row to accommodate big rigs - yes, big rig compatible. Called to reserve a site, knowing we would be arriving at closing time or shortly there after. The manager said not to worry, she would wait! Not only did she wait, but so did her assistant who escorted us to our site and offered to help us set up! Sprint cell and DirecTv rooftop satellite worked well. Would stay here again. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Will not return again, several FEMA trailers set up for rent and not the type of residents I normally like to spend the night around. Area not kept as before, sewage caps off and some missing, had to move from site assigned due to the sewers cap covered with dirt and would have to shovel it off for use, cable connections are male ends and you have to use connector for use or go to the office and borrow one. Wi-Fi poor. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Motorhome.

We travel from southwest Florida to east Tennessee frequently and ALWAYS stay at this KOA. Off I-75, easy access, easy check in, friendly staff, nice bathrooms, beautiful trees filled with Spanish moss overlooking a lake. Never had a problem and recommend to others...always. We have stayed several times in this park and noticed it was beginning to decline. This year it looked to be poorly cared for. There are quite a few FEMA type trailers parked on the perimeter and several seem to house migrant workers. The pool is quite a distance from the actual campground and shared by a local YMCA. With other RV Parks in the area we will no longer stay here. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Motorhome.

OK CG for an overnight stay, lots of noise from the I-75 on the top CG, a bit on the seedy side due to the nearby pub and lounge. The park its self is tidy, nice lake and covered pool. The pull-through sites are a bit short, We could just fit the M/H on the site,I couldn't leave the toad attached. a bit pointless for a pull through. We wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night on our way to Florida, and was greeted at the registration area, by a very friendly, helpful KOA employee. The park was fairly empty when we got there, but soon filled up with people. People who were very friendly. The site we had was a pull through and fairly level, equipped with full hook ups, including cable TV We found their Wi-Fi signal was fairly strong. Showers and bathrooms were clean as well. We camped at Camping World of Valdosta's Good Sam Campground in a Travel Trailer.
