Paved roads and nice long cement pad under Spanish moss draped oaks. Nice woodsy setting although some traffic noise from nearby interstate. Congenial office staff. Utility connections were convenient, very good water pressure, good wifi and even got a satellite connection. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Clean, friendly staff. Interstate close by but not an issue.

No Cable TV. not due to the parks fault. Local company closed, no cable at all at this area.I still got about 15 channels with antenna and good wifi.

Love going on the weekends to go to the flea market.

We recently had a family reunion at Eagle's Roost and used the conference center which was a great place to hold it.

For being under all the trees the grounds were very clean as well.

Swift check-in and very nice gift shop.

You can sure tell they are improving this park everyday. Best one in area in my opinion. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

How this park gets high rating outside of it has large trees is beyond me. The large oaks are beautiful, but not big rig friendly. This is an old park with narrow, level concrete pads, but it ends there. The patio is sand, grass doesn't grow under trees. The I-75 noise is terrible! One of the worst we have experienced. No water when we checked in and no discount for lack of service. No cable and no satellite sites. Not much but trees and noise. We will not be back. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We had a deluxe site. Concrete pad that was level and pull through. Someone had not picked up after their dog & we tracked it into our RV. The gnats were merciless so we couldn't sit outside. The park was gorgeous, however, with nice wide roads. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Do yourself a favor and pull into Eagle's Roost rather than the other 2 RV campgrounds 14 miles or so north of Valdosta. Everyone here is wonderful. The campground is flat, beautiful mossy draped trees, full hookups, pull thru's, concrete slab, very nice picnic bench, great office store and public restrooms. After calling the others first and being met with rudeness, this one was a lucky last minute and were SO glad we did. Highly recommend. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Pass up the others nearby and STAY here!

We stayed here years ago but this trip you can tell the park has been well attended to. Restrooms are spotless. The showers were also clean with great attention to detail. Checking in was a pleasure being greeted by a smiling face that was actually happy to see a customer. The lady told us she had worked there for 15 years and loved her job and you sure could tell. Very kind, knowledgeable and professional. Nice gift shop with the basic camp supplies available and some unique gifts to take home. Site was very shady and clean. Noticed some of the sites just need a little fill dirt on the edges of the concrete. The pool was very nice and cool. Their cable tv company closed temporarily. We did get 12 channels on our antenna. I will return to Eagle's Roost again for sure ! We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The park is very pretty and the staff is outstanding! We were having some problems with our RV and the staff was extraordinarily accommodating to our needs and situation. WiFi is iffy at best, and the local cable company has gone out of business but neither of those circumstances presented problems for us. We stayed for 5 days on one of the 50 amp sites, and all hookups were fine. The concrete pads are pretty narrow, and some have sharp edges, but they are no problem if you're careful pulling in and out. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Two RV sales and service facilities are less than 1/4 mile up the road. The Saturday and Sunday Flea Market next door to Eagle's Roost is a lot of fun.

Stay very pleasant and convenient heading south. Right off 1-75, there was some noise, but not bad. Cable and WiFi worked well. Campsite was in nice setting, room between sites, on paved pad. Roads paved and just a bit tight. Even allowed to wash unit. No fire rings. Would definitely consider this campground again. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This park is just south of Valdosta Georgia. It is right along the highway. But the highway noise did not bother us. This appears to be a very old park but we loved it. It is filled with huge oak trees dripping with moss and 100 ft tall pines. There is a private lake at the back of the park that is pretty but cannot be used as it is privately owned. Front office folks were nice but we did not see any other staff. Park is clean and beautiful. Our site was concrete and level, surrounded by sand and dropped pine needles. Our site provided a nice wrought iron table and chairs and a BBQ. Seems this park accommodates primarily travelers stopping for one or two nights on the way somewhere else, which is what we did. Good cable TV and good cell phone reception. Like so many other parks, Wi-Fi was only good for checking email, not doing business. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a short while on the way to FL. We enjoyed our stay, the front staff was helpful. Like the other reviewers said, not ideal for overnight big rigs, but still enjoyable and we would return. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stay here each fall and spring as we travel to and from our winter home in Florida. It is easy to get in and out with pull-through sites. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Two nice malls with a fantastic book store.

For smaller rigs, this campground is fine. It is close to the interstate and easy to get to. We chose this campground because it was listed as a big rig friendly campground and to be fair, yes the sites can accommodate our 40' fifth wheel and truck without unhooking. We don't mind tight campgrounds if we will be staying a while but after a long day of pulling, this is not a choice campground. The sites are very narrow and there are trees everywhere. The staff is friendly but slow. The registration office has a little bit of everything and they are willing to help if needed. Check closely on how to get out of your site and out of the campground. It's a lovely campground with the trees and Spanish moss but daunting pulling a large rig. I would not recommend as an overnight campground. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

If you are big there are only about 8 sites here (sites 56 through 63) that you would like, and they will be OK. Power is good, sewer is modern, water for this region surprisingly good with good pressure. Lots of old trees with a lot of hanging moss, but were trimmed when we were there. This park appears to have been built in the 50s. Roads are narrow but the RV did fine. Our 45' rig and large tow were OK staying here in one of the what the park has named as "Super Sites." So big rigs? then it depends on if one of the 8 are open. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Camped in a 45 foot motor home. Interior roads and drives are paved. Roads are a little tight and drives are narrow with a drop off of each site, so be careful. Park appears that maintenance is lagging behind. Office staff was friendly. Noise from nearby interstate. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.
