Stay very pleasant and convenient heading south. Right off 1-75, there was some noise, but not bad. Cable and WiFi worked well. Campsite was in nice setting, room between sites, on paved pad. Roads paved and just a bit tight. Even allowed to wash unit. No fire rings. Would definitely consider this campground again. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo

This park is just south of Valdosta Georgia. It is right along the highway. But the highway noise did not bother us. This appears to be a very old park but we loved it. It is filled with huge oak trees dripping with moss and 100 ft tall pines. There is a private lake at the back of the park that is pretty but cannot be used as it is privately owned. Front office folks were nice but we did not see any other staff. Park is clean and beautiful. Our site was concrete and level, surrounded by sand and dropped pine needles. Our site provided a nice wrought iron table and chairs and a BBQ. Seems this park accommodates primarily travelers stopping for one or two nights on the way somewhere else, which is what we did. Good cable TV and good cell phone reception. Like so many other parks, Wi-Fi was only good for checking email, not doing business. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We stayed here for a short while on the way to FL. We enjoyed our stay, the front staff was helpful. Like the other reviewers said, not ideal for overnight big rigs, but still enjoyable and we would return. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

For smaller rigs, this campground is fine. It is close to the interstate and easy to get to. We chose this campground because it was listed as a big rig friendly campground and to be fair, yes the sites can accommodate our 40' fifth wheel and truck without unhooking. We don't mind tight campgrounds if we will be staying a while but after a long day of pulling, this is not a choice campground. The sites are very narrow and there are trees everywhere. The staff is friendly but slow. The registration office has a little bit of everything and they are willing to help if needed. Check closely on how to get out of your site and out of the campground. It's a lovely campground with the trees and Spanish moss but daunting pulling a large rig. I would not recommend as an overnight campground. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

If you are big there are only about 8 sites here (sites 56 through 63) that you would like, and they will be OK. Power is good, sewer is modern, water for this region surprisingly good with good pressure. Lots of old trees with a lot of hanging moss, but were trimmed when we were there. This park appears to have been built in the 50s. Roads are narrow but the RV did fine. Our 45' rig and large tow were OK staying here in one of the what the park has named as "Super Sites." So big rigs? then it depends on if one of the 8 are open. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Camped in a 45 foot motor home. Interior roads and drives are paved. Roads are a little tight and drives are narrow with a drop off of each site, so be careful. Park appears that maintenance is lagging behind. Office staff was friendly. Noise from nearby interstate. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a very tree friendly park so if you have satellite service it won't work in this park. The concrete pads are narrow as are all the streets so you have to be careful maneuvering in and out of the park around the trees. You can hear the I-75 traffic. This is our favorite first night and last night stop whenever we are traveling to or from Anywhere in Florida. Next to I-75 at exit 5 in GA. Paved roads, level concrete full hookup sites, cable TV and Wi-Fi work well. Highway noise is not too disturbing. This is not a destination campground it is a wonderful stopover location. We stayed here 2 nights to take a "Chill Cycle" before reentering real life. It's an easy day's drive to and from home in North GA from here. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This park was easy to find and convenient to the interstate. We made a reservation and specifically asked for a pull thru sit for a big rig with a toad. When we got to our site our car was hanging out into the street. We then pulled to another site close by where we were able to get our RV and car on the site. We then found our 25' sewer hose was not long enough to reach the connection. We had to disconnect our car and move the RV then reconnect the car. It was quiet during the night except for the nuts in the trees falling on our roof. When we went to leave in the morning we saw there were newer very long, level sites for big rigs just across the park. I think if we had been given one of those sites we would have given this park a better rating. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Have stayed here before and it is a good overnight stop. Very easy to get in and out. Sites were big and very well cared for. Staff friendly. Would stay again if in area. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

We used this as a stopping point on the way to Florida do to its close proximity to to 75. The sites are extremely close but were long enough to allow us to not have to unhook the truck from the trailer, which was a plus. The first site we they put us in was so close to the next one that our slideout touched the neighbors awning. The staff was very helpful in getting us another site for the night. Grounds were clean. We would use this again as a stop over but not a destination park. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Easy in and out for a over night stop. Park was clean and had level concrete pads. Good water pressure. Cable TV was clear and had many channels to pick from. Did not use showers or bathroom so cannot comment on them. This is not our first stay at this park, we use it as an over nighter and it's great. Excellent overnight campground. Easy off and on I75, but minimal noise from the highway. Obviously a KOA design, but nicely renovated. Friendly and efficient check in. Beautiful trees for fairly complete shade in our site. We had a concrete pad, but the sites and driveways are narrow. Cable is an extra fee. Showers and public areas very clean and pleasant. Utilities were adequate. We would return, but might avoid whenever the flea market is operating. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Our first ever campground experience. We stayed here in April and July of 2013. Both times, the staff was very friendly and helpful to us first timers. Nice paved roads, but narrow pads. Very clean and well maintained facilities. Easy access from I-75. Although close to the interstate, noise did not seem too bad. Good place to eat down the road at Farmhouse. Say hello to Horizon RV, who got us into camping. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Beautiful campground with lots of big live oak trees (which would definitely hamper satellite antennae access). Super friendly staff. Pull-through sites. Driving through and parking not too difficult. Small pool. No dog run. Some interstate noise because it's close to the interstate. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
