Cramped, run down sites. Lots of noise from the auto repair shop in back of the sites. Like many other RV parks, they advertise WI-FI, but it was down most of the time. When it was up, it was basically unusable. I wouldn't recommend this park. - HitchHikers
Could be a great CG if it were taken care of. Topography is charming but the reality is bumpy potholed roads, off level sites and everyone jammed in. And $43 a night for no amenities is shocking. They can get away with it be because there are no alternatives. We would definitely not return. - Wandering Wishnies
As others have mentioned, it's tight and the speed bumps are atrocious. Most of them are all scraped and grooved from vehicles dragging their undercarriages. Even more scary, however, is that the water faucet outlets are about six inches away from the sewer outlet, actually right above it. Can't see how you can hook up without touching the water outlet with your sewer hose. To make matters worse, my site and the one adjacent had what appeared to be massive sewage dumps for about 4 feet around the sewer pipe. Probably there was a backup with resulting overflow. No one had done anything about cleaning up the toilet paper and other stuff all around the pipe. Needless to say, we didn't hook up our water hose. This is a significant health hazard. - John McK
April 9, 2015 ADMIN NOTE: The manager of this park has reported to us that the facility (Jim R. Miller Park) is undergoing MAJOR renovations and will not have RV Sites available until AFTER SEPTEMBER 2015.
We were at this park for 16 nights. The rate is $15.00 per night for 1 night or 16- very reasonable. The staff is very helpful. It's one of the Georgia State Fairgrounds, but the campground is separate from the Fairgrounds. It can be quite busy with many police related facilities in the area. There is a police shooting range nearby that can be heard at times. The fairgrounds is also used for many police and ambulance related practices and training. In most cases you would never know it's going on. - dthurk
This park is a diamond find. We searched online and found it, close to everything, but you would never know it is there. Fantastic hosts and a local call out Mobile RV repair service was needed so we called RBI who were without a doubt the best, most reliable, honest and fastest repair service we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The stay at this park was without doubt, one of the highlights of our trip and we will be back. Thank you to all involved in this park. - Mh146
Giving this an extra point for being so affordable. One set of restrooms was locked and leaking water under the door. The other wasn't very clean and the trash hadn't been emptied in awhile. Not much to do, BUT it's quiet (if there are no events), pleasant, spacious and HUs work well. Only 1/2 mile to Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield National Park and as convenient to Atlanta as anything else we could find. Enter through Gate 1. Stayed several days and will definitely be back. . - TheRollingJones
