Oct 2005 - $20.00
A nice quiet park, with easy on and off for the freeway, Bathrooms and showers were spotless as was the rest of the park. Gas and mini marts close by. We were told that the owner may be selling to a developer if they can get it re-zoned so you may want to call first. We stayed here for a week (Passport) and will stay again if it doesn't sell. 5 years of fulltiming. - wandering palms
Dec 2018 - $40.00
Stayed the weekend in lot 16. Rig fit nicely. Great view of the lake with a couple of tent campers between us and the lake. Friendly staff who are themselves RV'ers. Over the weekend the place filled up with travelers. They have a back area dedicated to full timers/seasonal folks. Roads are paved and easily accessible. It is a nice maintained KOA park. Will definitely be stopping in again. - Chuck and Katie
Sep 2018 - $50.00
Camp was clean and very well kept, staff was friendly and helpful. Great spot with the lake on the property. Enjoyed watching the birds in the evening. Spots typical KOA very close and little room between units. We stayed 4 nights in site 35 there was a very large Class A in the patio site next to us each night, so our view out the window and at our table was of the side of a bus, early morning diesel bus start of 3 of 4 days. It is reasonable close to Savannah and highway noise was minimal till around 6 am. Did have to move my truck to let the 44ft bus out last day. if your not in a big rig don't stay in site 35 unless you like to look at buses. - davidpas548
Aug 2018 - $36.00
This is the second time we have stayed here. Wonderful staff. easily accessible off I-95. As a photographer, one of the campgrond's premiere assets is the lake which teems with swans (I've learned how tell between males and females), storks, egrets, geese, ducks and even turtles ... and how up close you can get to the wildlife. While there are signs warning not to feed the alligators, we've never seen any. Highly recommended! - dandd
Jun 2016 - $18.00
Nice large park of manufactured homes development for rentals to military service people for the local army base. In a small town residential neighborhood. Long and wide back-in sites with grass, table and concrete parking pad for tow vehicle. No trees so no shade but good satellite signal. Good Verizon signal, cable TV and campground Wi-Fi. Office staff friendly and helpful. Nice laundry. No pool or rec room and no common restrooms or showers. Not for family weekend camping, but great for travelers. Quiet. 30 miles to Savannah. Will stay there again. - Pepper Dan
Aug 2018 - $25.00
Fabulous place. Driving through the marsh to get to the campground. Pull-through side. Stayed one night. Deers in the area. Saw majestic birds as well as little crabs near the marsh. Marsh smells a bit like ocean. - Isa L
Apr 2018 - $32.00
We stopped here last April for one night passing through and decided to return for a longer stay. We love the park, almost all of the sites are pull-through. They are not site specific for reserving, but once you arrive you check in, they give you your packet, you select your site and put your name on the post. It was very wet after much rain but still love the spaciousness of the sites.
It appears they took a hit from hurricane Irma since our previous stay, with many trees downed and being "cleaned up." Did not deter us or dampen our spirits. Visited the Fort which was a huge bonus! This is one of our favorites! - Mamag76
Apr 2018 - $28.00
This was a pleasant park to stay at, outside Savannah. We would have liked to be closer to the city, but no other, closer campgrounds had sites available. - eduJamesE
Nov 2018 - $84.00
Overall, the park itself is top notch. Conveniently located near the city but away from the crazy traffic. Amenities were all great and exactly as expected. The park and sites were very well maintained and manicured. Staff was friendly and prompt with anything we needed. HOWEVER, we did feel fairly misled with our site. We booked a "lake concrete back-in" and chose the site (88) based on the map provided on the campground website. This site was indicated to back up to woods, while having a front and curb-side full view of the lake. We were also told over the phone that this is a great and desirable site. We were so disappointed to arrive and find that not only did our site back up to the 'backyards' of 7 cabins (only 3 are indicated on the campground map), but our view of the lake was completely blocked by a bathhouse (also not indicated on the map). Most sites of this type are large and have great views, but site 88 should not be in the same pricing category as other lake back-ins due to the obstructed view and close proximity to the bathhouse (just a few feet, literally). Our receipt reflects a cost of $79 per night for this site, plus a $5 per day 'resort fee'. The cost seemed a bit steep when booking, but we were excited to try out such a new, beautiful park and we were willing to splurge on a nice site offering a great view and a bit of privacy. If we had an accurate idea of what to expect with this particular site when booking, we probably would not have moved forward with reserving it. The park is very nice and we may stay there again when in the area, but we will definitely choose a different site. - Megan McGrath
Nov 2018 - $45.00
This is a 5 star resort all the way. FHU, 20, 30, 50 amp, sewer, picnic table, fire ring at your site. Dish available sites have to be made at reservation time has to be made at reservation time due to equipment that is required. The pool is lovely with plenty of chairs to relax on along with a kiddy pool and hot tub. Too any amenities to put here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Delivery of firewood and propane is made by the maintenance staff. The lake is nice with boat/kayak rental and even fishing equipment can be rented. Sites were extremely long. Ours was probably 75 feet. You can also reserve gravel site or concrete site. All streets are asphalt. Wifi worked well and is free. Plenty of games for the kids to do and the resort has events going on most of the time. A shuttle is available for trips to Savannah at a marginal cost. The camp store has a variety of items you may have left at home or forgotten. Major restaurants and shopping facilities are within 4 miles or so. We loved it and will be back. - G W
Nov 2018 - $49.00
Nice clean park. Well maintained , gated entry and the grounds were very nice. Kind of odd that they give you a full page ( front and back) of what to do in case of fires, floods , hurricanes and active shooters. You have to sign a " we won't sue them paper ". Also, they give you a wristband that you must wear or carry with you in the park. You may be challenged to produce it. Welcome packet is over the top , too much info we didn't need. - KenAndrews
Oct 2018 - $40.00
Stayed for a week. Unpleasant staff, very abrupt. Sites very close together, Peculiar layout where you face the site next to you and have to look at each other when you sit outside. Dirty muddy and unlevel. Don't stay here with a dish, almost impossible to get signal. They do have cable. Never again. Made the week miserable. - Karen Levy
Sep 2018 - $50.00
This park was perfect for a overnight stay while traveling 95. It was about 2 miles off the highway and had fuel and a cracker barrel at this exit so it worked out perfect. I really liked the trees at this campground as it was very natural for the area. The pool was very nice and was open late. Pull through sites were perfect as I didn't have to unhook or level just put down stabilizers for the night. Only downfall was sites ere a bit sandy but that is the area. Will definitely use this campground again for an overnight stay. - Phatsteve
Jun 2018 - $39.00
The park was nice with a nice pool and easy access. However the sites were very close together and our front door was the same side as our neighbors front door so there was no privacy. Other than that the people were friendly and all else was good. - Cathy Roark
Sep 2018 - $39.00
One night stay but what a treasure! Having been burnt out by quasi "RV Resorts" which were actually trailer parks, this was such a pleasure. We didn't have or need a picnic table, but Picnic tables were available. Easy access from I-95, nice grassy pull through, welcoming owners, quiet grounds. Nice evening. Good WiFi, too. On our evening walk, we stopped by the clubhouse, complete with a billiard table and trading Library. I would love to be here during season. This was a fun place. - TailsAwagging
Jul 2018 - $38.00
This is a small, family-operated campground on the shores of a small lake. The facilities are very basic -- mostly pull-through spaces in a grass field. Interior roads are narrow, if you have a big rig use caution. On the plus side, the utilities appear to be newly-installed and the wifi is strong and fast. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. There is some noise from the adjacent road. - expdek570
Jul 2018 - $40.00
Beautiful campsite. Not crowded at all. The lake was in front of our trailer. Beautiful views, friendly fellow campers. Quiet, except for birds singing and the crickets at night. Well kept grass and dog park. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. We took a nice morning walk on the shaded path along side the lake. Very relaxing. We will definitely come again. Wifi worked wonderful as well. Full hook up, 50 amps, 32 ft trailer with large slide out fit perfect with extra room on our site. - Jen and Doug Gartrell
Oct 2018 - $35.00
Awesome little gem ! Tall, moss covered trees; sites are around a lake; the office is in a boat! We were escorted to our site - thank goodness, we would have butchered the approach. Site 42 was exactly right for us. We pulled in disconnected and relaxed! Hosts were kind and professional and really know their sites! The park had a very relaxed old-world feel to it. It is only 1/2 mile off the Interstate but there is no highway noise. Entrance is gravel, interior roads and sites are bright white sand. We would go back and spend a couple of days. - Born2RV

As Hurricane Florence approached North Carolina, I looked for a quiet retreat to evacuate to. Sight unseen I chose Lake Harmony RV Park and I could not have made a better choice. From my initial phone conversation to departing thanking, in all of my years camping, I have never found a friendlier, more accommodating, supportive and professional staff. The park is very quiet and peaceful though less than a mile from I-95, resplendent on a small lake with plenty of shade trees, Spanish moss and just a wonderful setting. The park is gated with well maintained, hard packed gravel roads throughout offering easy access. Our beautiful site (#51) was level on hard packed sand overlooking the lake with first rate full hook-ups along with a fire ring, picnic table, Wi-Fi and cable. Bath and laundry facilities were immaculate. A "mock" shrimp boat is the park's office and offers ice, boat rentals and a few necessities as well as information on local tourist attractions. One can fish and swim in the lake. This definitely is a first class facility but what sets it apart is the great staff that made ourselves and other evacuees welcome and cared for. Easy to find off Rt. 57, the Lake Harmony RV Park sign stands out as well as their slogan "a place you'll come back to". I know we will as well as our six new evacuee friends. - OBX Sunseeker
Jun 2018 - $36.00
The owners of the campground couldn't be nicer. It wasn't crowded for a Thu nite so access to our site, 50, was easy for a big rig. If it was crowded exiting might be an issue but maybe not. Nice site overlooking the lake with good E and W. We didn't hook up sewer. Table and fire ring and cable. Unfortunately it was blazing hot and then it rained so we didn't get to enjoy the nice setting. Treed but no problems. Wifi was not strong. Access from interestate very easy. Would like to return because Darien is about 10 miles away and looks like a cute town. Good GA shrimp and lots of it at B&Js in Darien. Seemed like a local place. Skippers is a little further down the road on the water which has nice ambience. We'll try it next time. Cute town. - Team Asphalt

This park could be a nice park, but it seems to have no one keeping up with it. They were closed Tuesday and Wednesday so we arrived Tuesday with no one to tell us anything and no warning for that to happen. We never did receive the WiFi password. Our site was also covered in broken glass and ant piles and they hadn't mowed in a long time. The area was so nice that if they just managed it, it'd be amazing. The sites are spacious and with the trees it could be beautiful. It's very close to everything too. - Twintravelers
Mar 2018 - $20.00
This park is a great place to stay while visiting Savannah if you don't need any additional accommodations, restrooms, showers, playground, etc. It was not well maintained, but a great place to park our trailer. - ranic59
Nov 2016 - $18.00
Lotts Island Army Airfield Campground is an okay stopping over point, but it certainly is not a resort! The sites have no logical layout and our site, #8, was almost impossible to get in to. There are 2 trees at the entrance to the site and a permanent or semi-permanent 5th wheel parked exactly across from the entrance to the site. We have a 38' Bighorn and it took about 45 minutes to maneuver our way in.
It was clean without garbage or "stuff" but there was some branches and brush. To be fair, it is fall and hurricane Matthew was only a few weeks ago. We never saw any campground maintenance people.
The park is quiet and we saw some wildlife (deer & raccoons). A little road noise from Abercorn Rd. Our yard was very large and comfortable. The road through the campground is gravel and not laid out well, but a big rig would certainly be okay. There is no cable and sketchy internet that is very slow. However, Verizon cell signal was strong.
It is very close to WalMart, Kroger, restaurants galore and just about anything else you might want.
We would stay there again - just not for an extended time. - jomark
