3 RV Parks near Millen, Georgia
May 2018 - $13.00
Sites are on a first come first choice basis. Sites with 50 amp have a yellow stripe at top of number post. Most sites are fairly level with hard packed gravel and patio. Cell service is good, sites are tree covered. No washers /dryers are available in the campground. - Nautilus
Sep 2017 - $30.00
Beautiful clean spacious sites. Peaceful parks with small lake. On the Civil War Heritage Trail. Note alligators are present. Would stay there again!! - Scooterd16

This is a really nice, clean state park. Our 50 amp, pull-thru site was very spacious and level. There are woods surrounding the campground, so we had woods out our door. They only have 4 or 5 50-amp sites, and they are first come-first served. You can make a reservation, but not site specific. You choose your site once you arrive. There is no sewer hook up, but a dump station. We were attending a family reunion, and the others rented the cabins, which are very nice. We normally only stay at FHU sites, but had no choice. If they had sewer hook ups, this would be a 9 or even a 10. I would love to stay here longer, but we do not want to deal with no sewer. There are paddle boats/kayaks to rent and a splash pad that is free. There's also a playground. There's plenty of room to walk the dog. We received 3 channels on our OTA, had good Verizon cell service, and good WIFI using our hotspot. (Note: the cabins couldn't receive internet with our hotspot, but the CG was fine.) The rate reflects a 30% discount. - Gayle E.

We checked in and lady at the desk was not overly friendly, gave no extra details on anything, no map of the sites, no thank you for staying with them. Site barely held our 5th wheel. Space was a tight fit with narrow steps to go down to picnic table...water was soooo black and yucky we wouldn't even put our kayak in it. Cut our stay short and just came home. We mostly likely will not go back to this camp ground even though it's less than an hour from us. - Rivey

Nice walking trails. Lot of history in the park. Very scenic and peaceful. Check out their website. - Donald Carroll
Mar 2018 - $24.00
This was our first camping trip and we had a fabulous time. The views were wonderful. The first turn into the campground is a bit hard, but doable with a 36 foot TT. Our site #22 was nearly perfect. The fishing wasn't great and there were no boats to rent (while park is doing maintenance and upgrades) but that was fine. If using the picnic area via vehicle is important to you - call to check if the gate is closed. Staff were very nice. No one was loud. Pets were all under leash/owner control. We will return! - CindySuess
