Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very basic park, mainly full time residents. Park located close to i-85, few miles from i-285 and close to Atlanta. Located in a commercial area with some housing nearby. Called in before arriving and we were told to just pick a transient site as we were arriving after the office closed. Staff answering phone was friendly. We followed GPS and it took us to the park. Stopped at office, picked up park map. No other instructions. Followed yellow arrows to transient area. We drove past all the sites, and only one was open, so we came around again, and took that site. Our site was dirt/sand base, narrow long pull thru, full hook up. There was a tree next to us, but were able to get satellite. The site next to us had a reserved cone, and the RVer came in right after us. He told us they reserved it for him. There were no other sites open, and we watched an RV come in later, and leave because there wasn't any open sites. We only noticed one other overnighter, as the rest of the limited stay spots seem to be full timers. If you call, tell them to assign you a site to reserve. If we came a little later, we would have not been able to stay. There are two electric hook up sites out front the office, but those are on a slight hill and have a sign for registration. Sites are close together, the other side of our site was packed with cars. Little green space to walk dogs. We were there on a weeknight, therefore quiet evening. Noise starts around 6 in the morning when people are leaving for work. Basic rate is $35.00, put payment in envelope, drop in rent slot at office. This worked for a quick overnight stay close to Atlanta highways but not for extended stay. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

My rating is based on an overnight stay. Easy on/off on I-85. We arrived on a Sunday when they are closed. We were told to take any open spot on the right. We took site 101 which was level and quite long. We had no one on either side but the sites are close together. The office doesn't open until 9:00 a.m. So we placed our payment in an envelope and deposited in a slot by the office. The power was fine but water pressure a little low. Most of this park appears to be full timers and around 6:30 a.m. The departing traffic in the park was heavy. Overall, recommended for a quick overnight stay northeast of Atlanta! We camped at Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park is right off the highway, which is good for access. We couldn't hear the traffic from our site, but many sites are close and probably can. The rest rooms are just "OK". Not great. We chose not to use the showers because they were a little grimy. They were in the process of putting in combination locks, but when we were there, the facilities were closed from 8PM to 8AM, which is very inconvenient. The handicap accessible bathroom was open at night, but it was out of order. Most of the sites are long term rentals and not very well kept up. The short term sites are jammed very close together. We were just passing through, so it was OK for us, but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mainly for permanent or very long term stays. Nothing really special about the park except for the location - close to I-85. Part of a mobile home park. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just an overnight stop for us. We arrived when the Atlanta area was about to get hit with an ice storm so the park had been rained on that day, then overnight, everything froze. It's easy in and out from the interstate. And it's close to the 285 interchange. We had a full hookup pull thru that easily fit our 40' with tow near the front. It wasn't full that night with transients but the rest of the park was packed close. Check in was easy but the guy who checked us in was not really too engaging that day. Overall, the price is reasonable and it''s easy to find in a good location for a stop so I'd likely stay here again. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

I agree with what others have said. Of the approx. 150 sites, there are about 30 set aside for short termers (14 days or less); the rest are permanent or very long term stays. Nothing really special about the park except for the location, and it's easy to get around within the park. I would stay again if I was passing through again. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a short stay of 3 nights. Easy access, lots of speed bumps which kept park traffic slow. Grassy areas on perimeter to walk dog and baggies and cans were posted for picking up after your dog. For the size of the park it was relatively quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if needed. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a trailer park with RV spots available. RV spots are toward the front of the park and are fairly close together.

The park is located in the NE corner of Atlanta with good access to the Interstate and down town Atlanta.

We would stay again. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a large mobile home/rv park. Mobile homes are separate from the rv's. There are a lot of permanent rv's which are kept up nicely. The small area for those staying less than 14 days was very level, gravel and grass spots, no picnic tables or fire rings. The laundry area was clean and machines were in good running order. This is bare bones with no amenities or trees. We would stay again when passing through. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy off and on I-85 but the turn onto their street is impossible if anyone is trying to turn left onto the street you are exiting. Long pull-through but you will get the site at the base of a slight decline on your left and right, so if its raining you will be in about a foot of water. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

Conveniently located to I-85. Probably 95% or more of this park are permanent or long term residents. In 5 days we haven't seen very many spaces available. It's quiet and the folks are friendly but definitely not a resort. We stayed here for 5 days visiting relatives nearby. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here as a home base while visiting downtown Atlanta, about a 20 minute drive away. This isn't as much an RV park as it is a long gravel parking lot with hookups, adjacent to a mobile home community. It's in a heavily developed suburb, so there are many stores and restaurants in the immediate area, though the park is tucked away a bit and feels private. The sites are very long but close together, most with no shade and very little grass. There's a grassy area along one side which is good for walking dogs, but there's no good places to walk outside the park since it connects to a busy main road. We had no problems with traffic noise even though it's close to the interstate. We have no complaints about the park - it was reasonably clean, utilities worked, staff was friendly, and the price was great. As a place to park while visiting the city, it was exactly what we needed - just don't expect anything fancy or pretty! We would stay here again if we needed to visit downtown, but if we planned to spend much time at our coach, we'd probably look for someplace a little more attractive. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

The rate I had was $500 for a month. This is a good park for people working in the area who do not need to entertained. The long term RV area is a real mix of people. I used the mail box but no other sections of the park. This park is not fancy and there is road noise. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here a number of times while visiting family in mid-town Atlanta. Since we only sleep here and it is a very easy ride down I-85 to mid-town Atlanta, it works fine for us. All the other comments about the park are true. It is mostly a long-term resident park with about a quarter of the sites reserved for 14 day or less stays. It is very convenient to I-85 and is close to restaurants and shopping. The pull-through sites are long and fairly level. The sites are close together but there is plenty of room for slides. There are no picnic tables. Cable and Wi-Fi are available for a price. I did have excellent AT&T LTE signal and the local TV stations came in strong. The 14 day sites were open to the sky for satellite. I did not visit the restrooms. We will stay here again because of convenience and price. A 7 day stay is $165. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.
