Easy access off main highway. Just had an overnight stay, however staff was friendly and restroom/showers where very clean and spacious. Our site was easily accessible. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very good for an overnight or longer stay in middle Georgia. Easy access off I-75 (behind a church). Pull-through space was long enough that I didn't have to unhook my toad. Utilities worked fine. Office staff was super-nice. Would stay here again. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park. Not stated, but we were left with the impression they geared park to the over 55 group. Clean, well kept. We were ate alive by gnats and other bugs. We could barely set up because of this. We had checked it years before. This problem was so bad we would not go back before now. The kicker, they have a sign in the public restroom in the main office wanting 5 cents to pay for TP!!! We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Thanks for taking a moment to review us. The gnats are indeed plentiful in this area from about May through November; basically any area below the fall line in Georgia (a straight line from Columbus to Augusta). Our recommendation is some good gnat repellent and a cold winter. And we don't ACTUALLY charge for toilet paper...it's just our sense of humor in these here parts. Hope you visit us again!

As many have stated, easy access on and off I-75, but we never heard any highway noise. Very large park with a nice pond in the middle. Roads are a little narrow, but navigable. Office staff is top notch, organized and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable! You are given a lot of local info for cable channells, restaurants etc. Many restaurants across the freeway. Great stopover location! We had Marcos large pizza (16") for dinner. Delivered to our site for $21.50. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you have time, visit Andersonville Georgia. About 30 miles to the west of the park. This is a National Historic site. It is the location of the National Prisoner of War Museum and is located on the site where 33,000 Union Army POW's were held for about 18 months during the Civil War on 26 acres... its a very humbling and emotional experience to think what they went through on that site. Plan a half day to do this, but well worth the time.

There are 4 sections to this CG. One with old rundown campers, 1 with mid-range permanent campers, and 2 transient sections. Both of these are very nice. We had an extra large corner site in front of the lake. Some sites are quite tight and backing out was a little challenging because of our 45' length. There are horses boarded on the site, but there was no noise, flies, or smell from them, and the barn was very nicely kept. There is a permanent person (maybe the owner?) that keeps a large field of goats that are also quiet and not smelly. Fun to watch the children and dogs enjoy the goats. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of things to do in Macon. Make sure you go to the visitor center to watch the 10 minute free video about Macon. You will come away thinking there is a lot more to Macon than you ever thought. Lots of good breweries near. Don't miss the Native American Ocmulgee National Monument.

We were stopping over on our way to Florida. Great for a one-night stay. Right off the highway (like 150 yards), but highway noise wasn't a problem. Pulled in after dark and found our receipt on the door with a map of the park telling us where to find our site. Took a bit to get the camper leveled, but that's never easy in the dark. Cable didn't work for us, but we were in a new camper, so it might have been us and not the cable. Got a good night's sleep; when we got up in the morning, we realized how close the sites are to one another. Again, good for a one-night stay. The place is HUGE, though--there are probably sites there that aren't on top of each other, too. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Before reserving online, I suggest you call to confirm the rates they post! They are totally deceptive about rates and other services. When I made my reservation, it was listed (for 7 nights) @ $189, but upon arrival am told it is $269, so looked online again, and it says $189. I called and asked about it, and they said it is their seasonal rates, which there was never a mention of on their website!! It has all been updated online now! Also, be sure to ask all particulars about wifi! My site was low enough in front, that I had to use extra blocks to take the front wheels off the ground! I won't stay here again! We stayed 1 travel night. Overall facility was just OK. Site conditions were sub-par as they needed more gravel to counter the sandy soil and mud from recent rain. Site was level with adequate space. Based on other earlier reviews we went a bit out of our way to stay at Fair Harbor and were a bit disappointed. Staff was nice and helpful. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed 1 night while traveling north from FL. Easy off/on I-75 with minimal noise outside the MH. No noise inside. Friendly, efficient check-in with good parking space while waiting to check-in. Very clean CG. Site was a level, 50 amp, pull-thru with some shade. Lots of cable channels and good WiFi. Good Verizon cell service. Had a dead battery on toad, and owner was very helpful and gave us a jump. This CG had a nice look with trees, and they were designed so there wasn't a slide issue. It had some ambiance and wasn't an open piece of land with RVs lined up in a row, which we appreciated. We would definitely stay here again when traveling. Very easy access from I-75. ALL of the staff both in the office and on the grounds are very friendly and willing to assist you in any way that they can. Most of the sites are pull through and well maintained. The bath houses are newly renovated and very clean. The site we were assigned was either new or recently resurfaced with gravel and the WS&E and cable hookups were new as well. The site had plenty of room for 2 vehicles. The laundry room is nice with plenty of machines. We stayed while evacuating for hurricane Irma but we will definitely return for a pleasure trip. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This large, clean, well maintained park is very convenient off of the interstate. We stopped here for the night on the way to Florida. Our site was pull through, and roomy. There is a large pond, which is pretty to look at. There is a large field with goats. It wasn't smelly or noisy, and they were fun to watch. At one side, there is a horse barn with campsites near it, which must be a benefit to folks transporting their horses. It was very clean and was not smelly either. The staff were extremely helpful. We called ahead about 2 hours out, and had no problem getting a spot. We camped at Fair Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.
