No sign on the road to point to the location behind a wine dealer. All literature stated cable. No cable. The pool was very nice. Either the owner or manager yelled into the pool area to find out whose car was parked in front of the building. I told him that it was me. He told me that it was a no parking zone and was marked as such. It was marked but he had to remove his pickup from over the marking to show it. His attitude was less than appreciative of a customer. In fact, I would call it rude. Sites were not clean. Last fall's leaves were still all over the campsites. We needed a late checkout and told them that we were willing to pay for it so they charged us for a full night. That was our mistake. We were an hour and a half late leaving.

These folks have within the last few(6) months bought this location. They need some time. But with the attitude of "man"(owner/manager) they want be here long. This park is open year round and needs some TLC. At the present I don't intend on coming back even though it is convenient to the interstate. We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt./Chattanooga KOA in a Motorhome.

Stayed for 3 nights to visit Chattanooga Area, sites extremely hard to get in to with a big rig! Staff does not know how to run a RV Park!! Under new Mgt. whom is foreign, I don't think he knows how to hire people to run an RV Park. Big Rains washed out many berms and Maint. Staff was in no hurry to get them fixed. Bid Rig hard to maneuver, close sites, very hilly!!! we would not stay here again!! 43' Pusher with SUV Dingy. We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt./Chattanooga KOA in a Motorhome.

This campground is convenient and close to I-75. It has narrow gravel roads and pads, many are not level, but we leveled without issue. The sites are narrow so watch the utility poles when opening your slides. It was very difficult to see the site addresses, so we had to stop some park workers for directions. There are many trees but we got a satellite signal. The wifi needed our extender to work well. Even though the site was a pull-through, we had to ask people in the cabin across from us to move their car in order to pull out. The park picks up trash at the site, but it's not always timely, so birds and squirrels get into it making quite a mess. We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt./Chattanooga KOA in a Motorhome.

Sites are very close together. Picnic table seemed to be in the next site over due to being so close, you would be sitting right under your neighbors window. We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt./Chattanooga KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The lady checking us in was very rude. The campground doesn't have any level spots. The only positive is it us close to I-75. Would not stay here again! We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt./Chattanooga KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a nice site..long enough for our 42' mh and toad. The big rig sites are close to the interstate but noise was not an issue. Office staff very friendly and accommodating. We disconnected our toad only because we went sightseeing. Could have left it connected. Would stay again. Battleground is overall a nice facility. Nice buildings. Fresh blacktop in entry areas. Obviously close to the interstate. The noise level is really high at the sites along the highway. They are on top of a hill looking down on the traffic just a few hundred feet away. Most of these sites seem to be working folks with very few transients. We were not lucky getting #15. There are some really nice sites down the hill where the noise is not as evident. Cable is Cox and requires a separate box that the gal checking us in did not recommend so we didn't. Off air mostly the odd cable channels. Should have gotten the box. The wifi is totally useless at site 15. Would stay there again only if we could get a spot on the side of the hill away from the interstate. We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt./Chattanooga KOA in a Motorhome.

Stayed here 1 night May/2016, Site was gravel and level, park is very hilly though. We were positioned right by the freeway and the noise is deafening at times. The traffic doesn't diminish either. The park is undergoing renovations currently. WiFi is reminiscent to the dial up days, very slow page loading. We gave the park a try because of all the positive reviews. The new buildings and pool area looks nice. Made a reservation, our credit card was charged for full amount at the time we made it, without informing us. Asked about discount, informed: "Everyone gets a discount." Cable is only available if you can get to the back of your tv to hook up a cable box. Was never able to connect to WiFi. Interior roads very bad, tight with large pot holes and sections missing. Many long term campers in the area farther from road. Road noise at pull through sites on top of hill, is so loud you can't sit outside and carry on a conversation. Sites are closer to I-75 than most rest areas. All the investment in the world will not change the noise or location. We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt./Chattanooga KOA in a Motorhome.

Undergoing major renovation by new owners. Was an old KOA and I mean OLD!!! New owners have spent and are spending many $$$$$$$ to clean up and update facilities. New showers and baths and lots of new paving and reconstruction of sites. Super convenient location BUT close to interstate and a bit noisy especially since we were parked closest to that side. Site was level. My bet is within the next year, this will be a super place!! By the way owners also run super wine store near entrance (not small) with free sampling. We would stay here again. Over-nighted here and it was a nightmare. Hilly, washed out roads. Overhanging trees prevent safe exiting for large rigs. Detour exit routes not clearly marked. Much noisy construction and tree removal going on, so there is promise of better camping to come. Many permanent residents at top of campground; other sites are mostly "make do" right now. Will not return. We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt./Chattanooga KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Too noisy. You feel like you are right on top of the freeway. Noise never stops from traffic all night long. We would never stay here again. Hilly getting in and out, some of the roads inside the park suffered washouts. Not very many big rig sites. Site 16 and 15 are long and 50 amp and OK to get in and out. Unhook your toad if you are a tag axle, it will make your life easier. We camped at Battlefield Campground & RV Park (formerly Lookout Mt./Chattanooga KOA in a Motorhome.

Park is being totally renovated. Changed the name to Battlefield Campground & RV Park. Office was clean but not well stocked. Restroom were very clean. Park is hilly with noise from I-75. Good place to stop for a night or 2, but not a destination park yet, but might be when they finish the renovations.
