Overall Rating:

We were coming through the area and stayed here only one night. We had seen a representative from here at the Tampa RV show in Jan '18. Called for reservations and it was easy and the staff was very pleasant on the phone. Easy access from I-95. We did have a little scare with having enough room to enter and exit the reception area. We have a 44ft and tow a full size truck. The instructions to our site were excellent. Pull thru site was a little narrow, but long enough to where we didn't have to disconnect the towed. The fire ring and gravel patio is towards the back of the site, so not by your door or where it would be under an awning. The grounds are nice, since this is fairly new there is not much landscaping. LOVE they have trash cans at all sites! Since we were only there one night we didn't get to use the pool or explore the resort (it was raining too) but would have loved to see the whole area. We would stay here again if we are in the area! They have a shuttle service available to go down town, however they didn't tell you anything about it. Might want to inquire if you want to go downtown. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This facility just opened in October 2017. This campground is a gated community for RV's with full hook ups (W-S-E 30/50) along with fire rings, picnic tables cable, and Wi-Fi. The sites are concrete as back in or pull thru with variations of water front at the lake. Of course the price varies with each upgrade and all are dog friendly. There is a pool on site, all the roads are paved, not dirt, and the staff is extremely friendly, courteous, and very helpful. This site is off a main road and a short distance from the highway. They are still in the process of landscaping the area but nothing that would affect anyone day to day activities. I would definitely return to this campground. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

It is a very nice and new place to go camping in your travel trailer or 5 wheel, it is not set up for Class A motorhomes. The days we camped there is was cold and rainy so we didn't use the pool but I did walk over and it looks like a very nice area. The laundry area was clean and a wash was 2.00 and dry was 1.75 and they take credit cards. We paid for a pull through concrete pad. The pad was nine (9) feet wide but long enough for the motorhome and toad. Half was up the pad is another pad that has a picnic table on it and lines up with a door on a trailer or 5 wheel and a fire pit. Our door lined up in the grass and so we tracked grass and mud into the coach and since the pad was only 9 feet the coach took up all the room. They weren't thinking of Class A's when they laid out the park. Wi-Fi worked good but no cable TV. Think we got about 8 stations on the over the air antenna. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

My family of four camped here while visiting the Savannah area over Spring Break this year. Overall, we loved this campground and would return. Pros * Great amenities, especially for kids. Pool, hot tub, playground, bouncy house, pool table, foosball, ping pong, corn hole, darts, basketball, tennis court, lake for fishing, canoeing, etc. * Fun events - we were there for Easter weekend, when they scheduled egg hunts, scavenger hunts, spaghetti dinners, and more. * Very clean bathrooms and showers. * Great service -- the staff was very helpful. Firewood was delivered to our site, etc. * Good location -- historic Savannah is an easy 15 minute drive from the campground. Cons (mostly minor) * Sites are pretty narrow. * No shade - good for satellite reception, but makes the place look a bit like a big parking lot. * Our site backed to the edge of the property with a trailer home on the other side of a chainlink fence. The owners tended to drive in and out of their driveway at all hours of the night. * There was an odd chemical smell to the campground when the wind blew in a certain direction -- like a paper mill was upwind or something. * Bathrooms were a good walk from most sites. * We had to share our water hookup with a system that was irrigating some new landscaping. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Good family campground. Site spacious but pad narrow. Very nice facilities and lots to do for families. Close to I-95 shops and not far from downtown Savannah. Has a trolley to downtown for $15. Has a large kiddie pool, large heated pool and hot tub. I do not recommend for adults 55+ who want rest and relaxation. Looked forward to time in the hot tub, but it was lukewarm and always filled with children. Management was told by many people the tub was too cold and that children should be limited to their facilities but no remedy. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This RV Resort is brand new! Everything was sparkling new and in prestine shape. We were here to visit Savannah GA so we did not take part of all of the amenities that this resort has to offer. The temperatures this March weekend was very cold, so we did not go swimming, but the pool is heated. They also had a hot tub that was definately hot with steam rolling off of it. The sites were level, clean, and came complete with a cement patio, picnic table, and a fire pit. Our site #23 was a gravel site and worked well for us and we got to save a little bit of $ by not taking the cement pad sites. The restrooms and showers were spotless, the water was HOT! and the water pressure was adequate. The resort is less than a mile from the interstate and is close to restaurants. We will definitely be back! We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Pros: Beautiful RV Park, very nice amenities, pool, hot tub, fire pits at each site, tennis courts, gated, choice of lots (gravel, cement, lakeside, back-in, pull-thru, etc.), plans to expand, paved streets, 3 rental cabins, trash cans at each site, majority of workers very nice. We didn't use the bath house, laundry, cable. Wifi - didn't signup for it. Cons: Arrived 1pm, checkin wasn't until 2pm so they assessed us a $10 early fee plus tax and site was open/no one parked us - many years of RV traveling and this is the first time EVER charged an early fee. Fenced dog park unusable blanketed by round thorns off trees, reported to workers. There is a $5 a day resort fee (?), No receipt on checkin, I guess they keep your cc open until you depart so unless you go ask for a receipt you do not receive? Long but narrow parking spots. Very nice park. Sites are well spaced with plenty of room between sites. Pads are relatively narrow but mostly level. Concrete pad was well located for a motorhome and should work for most units. Their so called cable TV was NOT what most of us expect from cable TV. It is on a Direct TV antenna which requires a box the office is glad to rent. This park would have been a 10 if the cable TV hab been satisfactory. Fortunately satellite reception should be good at most sites. We would definitely stay here again. Pros Awesome potential. Long concrete pad. Excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff..!! Large, heated pool and hot tub. Been open less than one year. $10 shuttle to and from Savannah. Fire pit and concrete patio. All paved roads. Had entertainment Friday night that I stayed. Cons Concrete pad is width of rig so if you cannot line up with the patio you step onto ground (soggy because of all the rain). Could not line up class c with patio due to location of hook-ups even with sewer extension. Cable tv not available to all sites..... yet. Limited camp store. Note: $61 a night was with all taxes and Good Sam discount. "8" rating takes in to account the potential of this park. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Take the shuttle into Savannah. Tour buses leave Savannah visitors center on regular basis and provide a narrative of local history and sites. Allows on and off at regular stops. The ticket is good for three days and the tour bus can provide transportation around the city.

Sssshh. This place is so nice, I shouldn't even tell you about it. It just opened in October of 2017. Access from I95 is quick and easy. The interior roads are wide and easy to navigate. They are still working on some of the sites and completing some landscaping and odds and ends. It is a gated park. There are a wide selection of sites and prices to match. All are big and level with plenty of space. All sites are fully equipped with water, power, and sewage. The office/welcome center is the best I have ever seen. Staff is very friendly and gave directions but did not offer guidance to site. There is a center pavilion with huge individual restroom/shower rooms. The pavilion contains activities such as table tennis, table hockey, two gas fire places, big TV screens, giant gas fire pit. Also tennis/basket ball and bocce ball courts. This is a small resort and great destination for visiting Savannah. A shuttle to the city is available. Also, separated from the main area is a lakeside section with premium sites and a few cabins - very well done. The only short coming is that there is no dog park. There is plenty of room for one, and that would make it perfect. All and all this will be a great stop and destination. Yes, we will stay here again. We stayed at this park MLK weekend. The campground is new, which means the trees/vegetation are in the baby stage... but that's to be expected. They should grow in nicely, over the next few years. The property has a nice sprawling feel to it. The staff was very nice. The office is lovely, very "Joanna Gaines" in style. We had a pull through cement site next to the clubhouse. While long enough, it was very narrow. Additionally, our pedestal was up towards the front of our unit, which required us to pull all the way up (as our electric is at the back of rig). Not a huge deal except they had put a small cement porch towards the middle/back of the site and (with pulling forward) our door was nowhere near it. We had to step out onto wet grass. Most of the RVs we looked at, had the same problem; my guess is, the grass along the sides of the sites will die rather quickly from guests walking on it (it's newly laid sod). Some of the sites were gravel and a few of them had some drainage issues. Each site had a picnic table and fire pit. Roads were easy to navigate (we have a 40' 5th wheel). The amenities were very nice: Outdoor pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, outdoor game room area with ping-pong, foosball, darts and a mini pool table. There is also a very nice playground, with swings and they were in the process of building a nice sized gazebo (maybe for picnics tables as it was near the pool). The back of the property has a small lake and several sites. I saw a small bathhouse, but I didn't look in so I don't know if there was a shower in the room or just a toilet/sink. There are a couple of showers near the pool up front. Laundry room onsite, $3.75 for a load (wash and dry). The free wifi was slow, you can pay to upgrade. Cable is not included, you have to pay $5/day to get Direct TV. At&t service was strong. There is some road noise from I95, but nothing that you can hear inside your rig. Location is about 20 minutes from Savannah. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

I'd like to say its a very brand new place with lots to work on. Maybe in 4 to 5 years it will be worth what we paid per night. The immediate grounds are very attractive, nice office, pool, playground, etc. I will start with after we checked in, we went back to the office and the lady was rude, never smiled and not helpful, BAD attitude. For the money this costs I suggest a person escort to your site, there are no directional arrows, gates should be marked IN and OUT. At our site the water connection was TOO low, even though the lots were long they were narrow. And charging for cable and Wifi! Really?? Again in a few years it'll be nice until then we'll pass. Happy Camping. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Front desk check in went smooth and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Just opened and still some growing pains and construction happening. Site 94 had great view of the lake and when the second bathhouse if finished, it will be very close. Gated access which is adds to security. No cable yet at the sites near the lake. They are in the process of installing it. But you can get many over the air stations. Water spigot is too close to the ground for a filter to be attached. The water pressure was great. I think my site was the lowest in the campground. Concrete pad was level and sewer is low enough to drain very well. I had a little trouble plugging in my 30 AMP do to the lower lip of the box being close to the plug. I switched to my 50 AMP pig tail which worked well. Overall great hospitality. They had free dinners and other activities while we were there. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Travel Trailer.
