Nice little place. The sites are grassy, but level. The only bad thing I could say is the sites are VERY close, but I think all of them are pull thrus. The bath house was very clean. My husband said the men's showers did not have curtains. The man at the check in was very nice. For the campground to be on a busy road, it is very quiet. It seemed a lot of campers were here to stay. This place is well kept. Grass was mowed, paved roads to walk on. There is a pool, but it wasn't open yet. There are trees, but not quite big enough to give off shade yet. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

You must eat at The Boiling Shrimp while you're here. It is right next door. We stayed here to go to a GA Southern softball game. This is a great location for anything at GA Southern!

This is a neat, clean and well-managed small campground just off US 301. It's 8.5 miles from I-16. The office to check in is in the motel next door and it could be quite a walk if done in the dark or in bad weather. Internal roads are paved and sites are grass. Transient sites are all long pull-thrus, very level, and separated by low hedges. Hookups are in the middle. Water pressure was a little weak. Wifi required a code given during check-in and was ok enough to check email. No off-leash dog park but there's plenty of areas to walk the dogs in the perimeter of the park. Grass, trees, bushes all looked neatly trimmed. The park has some long term residents parked mostly in the back rows but they keep their sites neat with very little "stuff" outside or spread out so it didn't feel like you're in a trailer park. The front row of the park is for RV storage and those looked very neat as well. The road noise from US301 diminished after 9:30pm so we had a good night's sleep. We were just there for an overnight but would gladly stop there again. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Motorhome.

We can confirm previous reviews of this park. It's convenient to Ga Southern University and is about 10 miles off I-16. We use it for overnighters and to visit nearby offspring. Bathrooms and showers are clean and well-stocked. Grass sites are level and mowed. Water pressure is good. Traffic noise isn't a problem after 9pm or so. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Most campers if transient are probably attending a function at Georgia Southern U. Although in a business are it was quiet and a relatively attractive park. The staff is friendly and helpful. We thought the rate was steep for what was offered but it was probably market driven. The restroom/showers were old and although clean need to be modernized. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

Really felt like camping! Nothing fancy about the place. Park on grass with plenty of space & a hedge between the sites! Back side was a forest area and up front was a 4 lane highway! Laundry facility was nice. Plenty of fast foods & restaurants in town. We would stay again! We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

All pull-through sites, very easy access. Cable TV, good space between sites. Easy check in, friendly man who gave us good tips for dining. Showers were not private, open with no curtains. We stayed one night en route to Savannah and would stay again. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

Older park but very well maintained. There are 'seasonal' RVs, but everything was neat and clean. No cars up on blocks and all RVs looked well maintained, clean and without lots of 'stuff' surrounding them. The site we had was grass. No cement parking pad. Don't remember seeing any pads. Park WiFi was very good download speeds of 4.61, upload of 2.07 and ping of 33 msec. Verizon LTE was also good. Office helpful and friendly. Did everything over the phone. We paid $31.50 with Good Sam discount We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Motorhome.

Price reflects Good Sam discount. Older park in fairly good repair. Sites are large and level on solid ground with grass and landscape between. We had a good Verizon signal and no problem with satellite reception. Very easy access off Hwy 301. We found the owners to be friendly. Pool was not yet open and there was highway noise, but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Motorhome.

This is a good park with large pull-through grassy sites. The roads are solid and well maintained. Full hookups with cable TV and free Wi-Fi are very convenient. Management is very friendly and offered to stay if we didn’t arrive before closing; be aware that after you pull in there is a walk to the office in the motel adjoining which could be a problem if the weather is bad. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is easy in and out for an overnight stay. It was pouring rain and we were glad to have a place to stop. There is not a lot of campgrounds on Route 301, but this one is great for a stopover. There were puddles everywhere after all the rain and it would be great if there were gravel or concrete pads at the sites, but then again, the price would be higher. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a well maintained campground with grass sites. Sites were long, up to 100 ft. so that rigs could stay hooked up. Management was friendly and the laundry room was very clean. Very convenient to shopping and Georgia Southern University. Be sure to visit the Center for Wildlife Education and Raptor Center at the University. We would stay here again. Grass sites, signs of standing water when it rains. Cable is terrible, better your own antenna. Showers, two stalls, dark cubbyholes. If someone else is showering, it is such close quarters you will be very good friends by the time you finish. I would use my RV facilities, even if only a sink. You can feel the athletes foot and toenail fungus attacking you. Otherwise park is attractive and well maintained. Would not want to be here in the heavy rains though. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Travel Trailer.
