Park is a nice stop over with clean restroom and showers. While I was there for work, it suited my needs for the week. The restrooms and showers were extremely clean. Staff was friendly. The lots are grassy and has paved roads. Only issue is that the picnic tables sits right beside your neighbors sewer hookup and they can be moved. There were a few monthly rent less there but they were kept up. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Open RV Park with easy access. Grass site for our pull-thru - easy to level. Wifi weak. Great for overnight stay. Walking distance to nice Seafood Restaurant. US 25 N in GA is an excellent road! We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Motorhome.

Small rv park with close sites. While we were there several people tied their pets up and then did not care for them. Some wondered into our site and the barking was a nuisance. To check in you have to walk through a part of the adjoining motel about 100 yards away. Office was stale and dated for sure. An OK place if you have to stay in this area but not a desirable rv park if you have other choices. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Unless you like the heat and uncomfortable humidity avoid this place until winter--its hot and humid. RV park is just OK in a pinch, definitely not a preferred park.

Our plans were changed due to the weather, so called from the road to make sure we could get a spot. No problems there, only a few campers besides the permanent residents. We found the place extremely clean and well maintained. The lady that checked me in was very helpful and made some suggestions for dinner. We utilized the bathhouse, which was immaculate albeit a bit warm. Laundry room was a nice find too, only $1.50 per wash and the same for dry. We will definitely be staying here on the way back south after our four and half month volunteer job in Virginia. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Two nearby gas stations with diesel. A drive through chicken restaurant that also serves breakfast. Also, there is an auto parts store just up the street in case anyone might need something.

Easy in/out; level sites with full hookups. Paved streets with grass sites. Small bathhouse. Most sites are landscaped with hedge bushes. We were going to arrive late; called ahead. They had everything ready. Went to office the next morning. Second stay here. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

We have really enjoyed our stay here! Yes it is on 301 but if you are traveling thru Ga and want to rest or catch up on things this is conveinient to 16,80 and 301. Friendly owners,GREAT wifi best we have been on in numerous stops! Clean, close to every store you could want, laundry 1.50 per load and clean, very pet friendly-we travel with 3 older chihuahuas and 4 retired show frenchies and ALWAYS put up our portable fence-everyone stopped by to chat! Water pressure fine and no problems with hookups but sites a tad uneven due to grass and rock-not concrete! We will be back thru on our travels! Pooler and Savannah very close by for trips! Thanks Parkwood! 36 ft Thor Super C. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Motorhome.

This is a nice clean park located next to a motel(check in at the motel office). We have found that most RV parks at motels tend to be a row of sites in a dusty area behind the motel. That is definitely not the case here. This park is a totally separate location next door to the motel. Most of the sites are pull thrus. The perimeter sites are back in. The bath house is clean & contains 2 each showers, lavatory, & toilets. The laundry is also in the same building & contains 5 washers & 5 dryers. Cost is $1.50 to wash & $1.50 to dry. There appeared to be a few long term residents. All sites were clean & clutter free. Utility pedestals were located about midway on the sites. Electric was good & water pressure was good. Wifi worked very well. Cable tv was very good & had approximately 25 HD channels. Staff was very friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay here again when in this area. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

We only spent one night here. We were trying to avoid an encounter with Hurricane Matthew and decided that we wanted to be further inland than Statesboro so we left to head west. Parkwood is a very nice park with full hook up 50 amp sites. We had a pull through with cable service and a picnic table on a concrete patio. The free WiFi worked OK for us and the bathrooms were very clean. For our one night stay it provided everything we needed. We paid $33.30 per night with Good Sam discount. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Grassy and pretty level sites. most all are pull thrus with a small adjacent motel. Large meeting rooms if needed. A good many snow birds in this park. We have been here 3-4 times and like it. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice little place. The sites are grassy, but level. The only bad thing I could say is the sites are VERY close, but I think all of them are pull thrus. The bath house was very clean. My husband said the men's showers did not have curtains. The man at the check in was very nice. For the campground to be on a busy road, it is very quiet. It seemed a lot of campers were here to stay. This place is well kept. Grass was mowed, paved roads to walk on. There is a pool, but it wasn't open yet. There are trees, but not quite big enough to give off shade yet. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

This is a neat, clean and well-managed small campground just off US 301. It's 8.5 miles from I-16. The office to check in is in the motel next door and it could be quite a walk if done in the dark or in bad weather. Internal roads are paved and sites are grass. Transient sites are all long pull-thrus, very level, and separated by low hedges. Hookups are in the middle. Water pressure was a little weak. Wifi required a code given during check-in and was ok enough to check email. No off-leash dog park but there's plenty of areas to walk the dogs in the perimeter of the park. Grass, trees, bushes all looked neatly trimmed. The park has some long term residents parked mostly in the back rows but they keep their sites neat with very little "stuff" outside or spread out so it didn't feel like you're in a trailer park. The front row of the park is for RV storage and those looked very neat as well. The road noise from US301 diminished after 9:30pm so we had a good night's sleep. We were just there for an overnight but would gladly stop there again. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Motorhome.

Most campers if transient are probably attending a function at Georgia Southern U. Although in a business are it was quiet and a relatively attractive park. The staff is friendly and helpful. We thought the rate was steep for what was offered but it was probably market driven. The restroom/showers were old and although clean need to be modernized. We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

We can confirm previous reviews of this park. It's convenient to Ga Southern University and is about 10 miles off I-16. We use it for overnighters and to visit nearby offspring. Bathrooms and showers are clean and well-stocked. Grass sites are level and mowed. Water pressure is good. Traffic noise isn't a problem after 9pm or so. Really felt like camping! Nothing fancy about the place. Park on grass with plenty of space & a hedge between the sites! Back side was a forest area and up front was a 4 lane highway! Laundry facility was nice. Plenty of fast foods & restaurants in town. We would stay again! We camped at Parkwood RV Park and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.
