Very small place. Only a few sites available due to permanent residents. NOT big rig friendly. Very tight right turn into CG. No staff on site. Sites not level. Low branches (real low). Owner, who we spoke with on phone was polite and friendly. We camped at Talona Creek Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Not sure why this park doesn't get better ratings. It's quiet, spacious, peaceful and pretty. Fairly level and HUs work well. $30 per night seems excessive, though. GREAT BBQ place on the corner. We camped at Talona Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

The rate reflects a one week stay. This park is no frills. We did have full hookups. Most of the other attendees in this small park were permanent or semi-permanent. Scenery is nice. It is a ranch type with horses grazing. The site drainage is poor and we almost had to depart early because of serious rain. We stayed here because it was the only park close to a relative we were visiting. We camped at Talona Creek Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $21.00
Small, old park with many permanent or long term residents. Grass sites, some with picnic tables. Laid back on-site owner. Even though there is a pet policy, some large dogs run free. Quiet area in country setting. 6 miles to shopping. Free wi-fi is inconsistent. We camped at Talona Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Generally a self service campground. Pick out a spot, fill out registration form on envelope, put payment in and drop through slot in door. Did not see anyone the weekend we were there. Nice playground, and pretty trout stream. Had a good wi-fi signal at spot 3. Would stay here again. We camped at Talona Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

A fun place to go for the weekend. A mountain setting right next to the river! The campground was clean and well kept and the owner very nice. Not a place for a large group but fine for one or two motorhomes traveling together. We will stay here again. We camped at Talona Creek Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $23.00
The campground was the bare essentials. We never met with the management. I don't think the office was open the whole time we were there. Several people live at the site in their tents and other permanent homes. This is not the best place to go family camping. However, it is conveniently located near some recreational parks. We camped at Talona Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Park was clean and the people were friendly. Enjoyable stay. One concern is the management is seldom on site and the park is open to anyone driving through 24 hours a day thus a security concern. Some sites require some creative backing to miss low places on the site. Also a few long term campers with clutter. We camped at Talona Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Very nice people. Convenient location to the highway. Even had a trout fishing stream. They have a
Bluegrass Festival in May. I will go back! We camped at Talona Creek Campground in a camper.
