Nice owners: service upon arriving and parking better than most. Very good Wi-Fi, properly placed hookups, and nice view of lake. Sites are grass and we did not have to un-hook for 45 foot with tow. Easy in and out for big rig. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This small private park has good hookups, lovely location on a small, pretty lake, and a beautiful large deck overlooking the water. We called as we were on our way in and loved having a guide meet us and take us to our site! Cable TV worked well. Our pull-through site allowed our truck and TT to remain hooked-up for our overnight stay. The individual shower/restrooms were very clean. While an easy short drive from the interstate, it feels very peaceful here. It's a lovely place for overnight or to stay awhile. Owners/staff were very friendly and we would stay again. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

As you head to the campground, you will pass a gas station called Polly's. Stop and pick up dinner for the evening. They have AWESOME homemade BBQ and Brunswick stew for a very reasonable price.

Thank you for the nice review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again.

We've also heard great things about "Polly's Barbecue". It's located inside the Exxon on the left as you head west off of I95. They have so much hidden in that little station.

We pulled off the highway and into a pull thru spot that had the most beautiful view of a small lake. How lovely! Site was grass and sand but that was okay. They have a small laundry room that looked very clean with newer machines and two bathrooms that are multi use. I checked out the clubhouse and deck overlooking the lake - looks very nice, showing its age a bit. DVDs and games are only to be used in the clubhouse. Cable was great. Very helpful and nice hosts. We will definitely stay again. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lovely small campground. Sitting by the lake in the swinging chairs is a wonderful feeling after a long driving day. Easy off and on interstate. Some sites are quite close together, but we had a very quiet night here. Definitely would return. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects nightly rate. We stayed over a month and they gave us a great deal. The managers/owners are the best. They escorted us to our site. Both husband and wife live on site and make sure your stay is great. Wide sites, nice club house. Beautiful lake. Perfect! We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful park run by the most caring owners. We arrived after late and dark due to a tire blow on en route. We called 10 minutes out as requested and the owner met us with a flashlight shining on the sign at the road since his sign light was out. He then led us to our site. His wife was also extremely nice as we checked in. They couldn't have been more accommodating especially for a last minute reservation. While this was just an overnight stop on the way to Florida we saw how lovely everything was the next morning. We wished we had time to stay and enjoy the nice campground on the pretty lake. We definitely will plan to visit again when we can stay awhile to enjoy both the campground, lake and the lovely owners. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed 2 nights at this park on our way to Florida. It's a nice family owned park on a small lake. Our pull-thru site was large enough to accommodate a 36 foot 5th wheel and F-350 DRW truck. There is a small laundry room (2 washers/2 dryers), rec hall and dog walk area. Restrooms/showers appeared clean although we did not use them. DirecTV and Verizon cell/internet worked well (did not use park WiFi). Park is convenient to I-95 but far enough away to avoid most traffic noise. There are gas stations - with diesel fuel and convenience store - close by but we did not see restaurants and other shopping in the immediate area. The nightly rate is the most reasonable we have seen this year. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The owner sees you driving in and he comes running to make sure you don't have any difficulties. Decent site, level, no tables or fire rings but a great club house with patio extending out over the lake edge. Swings around the lake edge for sitting. Great stop for a few nights. We would stay again. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

A lovely park with immaculate shower/bathroom that was air-conditioned! This was greatly appreciated since it was very hot. The lake was charming and the level pull through grassy site was big enough for our truck camper and tow car. The owners were gracious. We stopped on the way from Tennessee to Florida and will use this park again because of the ease of set up and the convenience getting on and off I-95. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Truck Camper.

This is a small, lakeside campground with convenient pull-through sites. The facilities include full hookups with 30/50 amps, tv cable and a wifi system that actually works. The owner/managers are super friendly and helpful. This is one of those "I definitely would stay here again" kind of places. Our site faced the lake where we sat outside on their swing chairs and enjoyed a gentle breeze. There's also a fenced in dog park for those of us who travel with our fur babies. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at McIntosh Lake Park 3 times on our way home from Florida to Ontario and have really enjoyed each stay. Nice pull-through lots, full hookup as we have a toy hauler and 2 motorcycles. Lots of good biking roads around, easy access off of 95, friendly helpful people, great prices; this park has it all. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park. You park on Grass but sites were nicely sized. lake view is wonderful and there are some large fish in there. Had no issues with any utilities. Camp host was very friendly and stayed on top of things. Owner lives on premise so they are out during the day also doing things. Not much to do in Townsend but sea food restaurants int he area are outstanding. Savannah is just down the road. Would stay again if passing through the area for a couple days. Stayed for 3 nights. Nice simple quiet park. Nothing fancy with grass sites. The staff was friendly but what made this park better than average was the nightly rate. We used this RV park for a base to see Savannah for a day. Even though it was a little further out than what we would have preferred it was still convenient enough. Electric was good. Water pressure good. Wi-Fi was weak. Could get it on all of our devices except my desktop. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a gem this place is! I truly wish I had made better plans. It was meant as a place to park overnight (not wanting to be in a Walmart lot), and I wish our stay here would be much longer.

We were warmly greeted by the owner, who guided us to our large, pull-thru site by the lake. It seems that all sites are near the small lake.

The grounds are immaculately maintained and everything seems to be fresh and clean. This doesn't seem to be a prime location for the snowbirds, so it's not very crowded, which gives the place a very serene and relaxing atmosphere. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate given reflects monthly charge. This is a quiet, peaceful campground located less than a mile from I-95. It's clean & well maintained. The folks running things are friendly & accommodating. They have several two person swings facing the water & I have gotten to see some beautiful sunsets!! Not a lot of commerce close by, but plenty of store & restaurants on down the highway a bit. Be prepared for lots of sand (it is the coast, after all) & the love bugs, which are bad in this area this year. I'm really enjoying this park & hope we can stay here again in the near future. We camped at McIntosh Lake Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
