We stay here because we visit relatives in Woodstock, and it is convenient. It is a beautiful campground. LOTS and LOTS of trees. The sites are secluded and quiet. The trees are so dense that it doesn't get light out till an hour after sunrise. At night it is VERY dark. There is no satellite and very sporadic antenna reception. There are only a couple of non reservable sites with sewer but there is a dump. The lake/beach is gorgeous. Reservations on line only. We camped at Victoria Campground COE in a Motorhome.Undo

Rate is National Park Senior Pass rate. Sites are relatively level crushed stone and wooded with large crushed stone "patios". There are picnic tables, fire rings and grills at most sites. We had preregistered and on arrival we stopped in the preregistered line as instructed, but the attendant did not want us parked there and was not very nice about telling us to move. Quiet at night and the sites are far enough apart that you have privacy almost everywhere. The sites are very diverse, but the website has a nice map of the sites with lengths noted for each site. A gate locks the park from 10:30 pm till 7:00 am. We would stay again if in area. We camped at Victoria Campground COE in a Motorhome.Undo

Gorgeous wooded lakefront sites. Many pull through sites are also close to the water. The attendants were very nice and recommended a different site from our reservation and it was much better! Clean restrooms, quiet at night and in the morning and the usual camping, kids and motor craft noises during the day. The campground was mostly empty and the sites are far enough apart that you have privacy almost everywhere. We were told that all sites will soon have pictures available on-line which would be great for first-timers. We will definitely come back! This is very quiet park. It is difficult to pick a spot unless you have been to the park before. The sites are very diverse. Some are very long - others short. Some are very shaded and secluded where others have more sun. Some have beautiful views of the lake - others not even though they are listed as water views. We were not able to get satellite or antenna signal from our site, but there were sites I believe you might have been able to. When the sun goes down it is very dark in the park. A gate locks the park from 10:30 pm till 7:00 am. The man that checked us in and the woman who worked with him could use some people skills, but the last day we were there the couple working the check in was very nice. This campground like all COE sites is well maintained. All sites are electrical and water, there is a dump station. Some sites have great views of the water, others are setup in shade. Great for big rigs to tents! The sites and road are paved and level. Great people running the office. You can fish on the lake. This campground is lovely and quiet, we stay here any time we are near Atlanta. We camped at Victoria Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.Undo
Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $20.00
The sites are very spacious and there is good separation between sites offering some privacy. The sites were fairly paved and level with lots of shade trees for the hot summer. The bathroom facilities were well maintained and clean. There is a beach area where swimming is permitted, however when we were there, the lake was down too low to swim in the area permitted. The lake front sites had beautiful views of the lakes and if you don't mind hearing boats roar up and down the lake, you will enjoy the campground. There is a well maintained and fairly new looking playground for kids to enjoy. To get to the park, you have to travel down some neighborhood roads and the directions given by the park service were not correct, so Google it yourself.
