Just opened in March 2017. Site says full hookup, but that's not accurate....there's no sewer hookup. There are 6 sites and 6 cabins. The park is beautiful with a pretty river, some hills and lots of trees. It kind of looked like they will be building more campsites in the future. We were in site 12 which was ok until there were occupants in 11 and 10. Got much tighter then! I would recommend staying in 1-3 as those sites seemed to be laid out better. There is a little bit of a lack of "supervision" from staff. Kind of a free for all which is ok until you have a site with a travel trailer plus 3 vehicles and a total of 6 people and a big dog. That was a little much. It would be nice if there was more of a staff presence. Oh and all of the sites say ADA compatible....I really don't think that's a fair statement. It's all gravel and hilly. We got great AT&T and T-Mobile cellular coverage and LOTS of OTA TV channels! Overall it was a great place to spend a couple of nights. The first night it was just us and people in one cabin. Peaceful bliss! - doggpurr

My wife and I stayed at Forest Glen for a week, the last of June. We were very pleased with our roomy site, and it's a great park for travelers with a dog. Ample walking areas nearby. The staff are helpful and friendly. The only negatives are the road noise from I-75, which is adjacent to the park, and very weak or non-existent wifi if you're any distance from the office. Overall, a nice option if you're in the Atlanta area. We intend to return. - davidb104
May 2017 - $27.00
Separate section for permanent RVs. They all seemed to be well kept. Our spot was level and a paved spot. No picnic table. There is a pool and bath house. There is a club house too. Many of the spots are not level. This is a nice place to stay for a night or 2. - esta34950
May 2016 - $30.00
No level sites. Old park not kept up. Sewer hookup was uphill. Sites were gravel and lots of tree roots. Office was closed and you left your payment in mailbox. Grass not cut nor was the park taken care of. Looked like someone just stuck it in the side of a hill. Would not recommend. - Retired1022
May 2018 - $28.00
Wooded and spacious campsites, not lined up in a row, but no undergrowth or shrubbery to add any privacy. Restrooms were fine and did have washer and dryer. Lots of families with children, but quieted down at night. - Al Julie B
Sep 2017 - $25.00
We stayed here because it's relatively close to the airport in Atlanta. If we ever need to do this again, we'll stay somewhere else. Single restroom and shower. 2 coin-op washer-dryer combos. Many long-term residents that prefer to walk through your very narrow site to other places in the park. Often. Like 10-12 times per day. Long-term resident trailers have things built onto the sides and some don't have wheels and tires and just sit on the brake drums in the dirt. For the location, this is a very noisy park. The residential area across the road is full of people who have no mufflers on their cars and are proud of it...as is the long-term resident without one on her golf cart that makes about 75 laps around the park each day. Staff and management very polite and accommodating. - HDWC
May 2018 - $35.00
Nice state park just a few minutes from the Freeway. We were there only one night - in space 16 which backed up to the River. There was no OTA, no DISH and poor cell. There is a nice hike on the Tranquility Trail that goes through the forest and gets you access to the cool waterfalls on the river. Park was nice for a one night stop over, but seemed a little dated for a longer stay. A plus was how easy it was to get to/from the Freeway. There was also a Flying J one exit North. - Davishouse2

Stayed here to avoid Atlanta. 45 miles outside of Atlanta so when leaving about 0900 , passed thru Atlanta about 1000 hrs avoiding rush hour. - Lafitte

There are 2 campground locations here. One is the Lake Campground and the other is the River Campground. The Lake Campground is smaller and the sites seem more spacious. Most of the sites did not seem that level in this CG. We stayed in the River CG. The sites were reasonably level and there was decent spacing between the sites. Check in for both CG's is at the same location and easy to drive past like we did. When you pass the Dollar General on the right, the turn in is to the left BEFORE the bridge. If you miss the turn, just turn into the park entrance on the left on the other side of the bridge. This must happen a lot as the gate attendant knew exactly where we needed to go to turn around. When going into the Rivers CG, the road in has a steep section, but not too bad or long. Interior roads are easy to navigate. This is a great place to hike. Indian Springs SP is very close and has additional hiking and once you pay to camp here, Indian Springs is included in the entrance fee. The restrooms/showers are old, but were clean. There is no antenna TV reception here. There might be some in sites 65-85 as they are on higher ground. - GA Bob
Dec 2017 - $28.00
Ramsey's RV Park is a nice little place. The owner is very nice. We were scheduled to arrive before closing time but had problems with our trailer. We called and he instructed us on what to do upon arrival. There are front pull through sites that do sit somewhat close to each other. But we didn't plan on staying in the park other than sleeping at night so this wasn't a problem for us. Seems like there was more sites around back of the office but we didn't ever go around so I'm not sure. There is a pool that looks very clean and inviting but it's December so that was a no go for us. The sites we saw were all clean, grassy and level. All in all it's a nice small place away from everything but still close enough. I'm only giving 9 because of the close sites. But other than that it's a great place to stay. It's an older park but the new owner is making upgrades frequently. Would stay again! - Stephanie McCall
Jul 2017 - $28.00
This is the second time we stayed here. The host was very nice and helpful. It appears that most of the sites are pull thru's with both shady and open sites. Very convenient to Greenville for visiting family. We would stay here again. - Sleeps Two
Nov 2016 - $28.00
Ramsey RV park is a older family run park that is just outside of Warm Springs. It was a pleasure staying here and there were four motor homes traveling together that enjoyed the stay.
The owners are very friendly and we felt very welcome here.
Most sites are grassy , the restrooms are older but very clean and we will be back. - riopreto
Oct 2018 - $37.00
Easy access from I-75, large laundry, large campground with various amenities, convenient one night stop Interior roads are paved but narrow. Our site was right next to the freeway so there was a lot of road noise all night long. Unfortunately, the campground was completely full so there was no availability to move. The site was very uneven and required a number of stabilizer pads on one side under the jacks to level our camper. The picnic table was warped. We couldn't use the picnic table as it sat at a tilt on uneven, hilly ground. There was no level ground to utilize at the very tight site. Not a comfortable stay and would not stay here again. - Golfgirl
Sep 2018 - $34.00
They have recently repaved all the roads in the kampground. There are some tight turns for inexpereinced drivers of big rigs or large TTs, but overall it is easy to navigate. A few signs would help, though. Road noise at front of the campground is no issue with AC running. Without the AC it's no more than white noise. Nice fishing pond and overall well kept grounds. They staff are all wonderful...friendly and helpful. The bath houses/restrooms are dated, but looked to be in good repair and fairly clean. Warm freshly baked cookies are delivered to your door after you are set up. And pizza delivery from the store to your door is so convenient. We will be staying here again traveling to Florida and back. - Jeff and Melissa 1105
Sep 2018 - $43.00
We loved this place and wish that the weather had cooperated so that we could have fully enjoyed the place. This was a stop over to another destination. We were welcomed with three large hot yummy chocolate chip cookies and took advantage of the small restaurant ordering pizza that was delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only suggestion I have is that the bathrooms need updating. - Lemanuel
