Friendly staff at check-in. Pull-through sites are gravel and spacious with some shade. Grassy sitting area with picnic table. Restrooms clean, laundry $1.50, dryer $1.00.
Park is situated along highway 26, but there is hardly any traffic. No noise problems.
We had a nice dinner in the park restaurant.
Wi-Fi excellent.
We can advise you to stay here. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are fairly spacious, all have grass, most have large trees. Interior roads are gravel, but good. WiFi is good, No cable, but antenna gets a few channels (no NBC). Park has a restaurant with great food. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice clean campground. Our site was spacious and level. Water pressure was good. WiFi was excellent. The electrical voltage was low and unstable when I first hooked up. Checked it at the pedestal with my Fluke meter. Got readings from 108 to 113. It seemed to stabilize as time went on however. I still used my booster to protect my AC. Curious. Be that as it may, we enjoyed our stay here immensely. We would stay here again. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park in a convenient location. When you go in to register you can't escape the incredible aroma of smoked ribs. Instead of having a small store they have a small restaurant. The owners cook and serve. The park has level sites (all pull throughs) with gravel pads and at least 20 feet of grass on each side. The campground is surrounded by a field so there is no noise. Each site has a built in grill. The wifi was excellent as were the ribs. For less than $20 each we had pork ribs (another reviewer said they were beef but they were pork), giant smoked loaded potatoes and a salad or coleslaw. We took our dessert to go. They have a full bar. The town of Arco doesn't have much, but they were the first city in the entire free world to be powered by atomic power. The park is also only a few miles from Craters of the Moon National Monument. I would definitely stop here again. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park has nice wide parking spaces which evergreens and grass at each site as well as a picnic table. The proximity to the Craters of the Moon National Monument was handy. If you decide to eat in the restaurant, don't go until 5:30. Before that, all they will serve is lunch. But you may may even have to wait if their don't have the broilers turned on. The ribs are delicious but if you're super hungry, take a snack. It may take quite a while before you get your dinner. Too we're used to southern hospitality and didn't get that feel here. More like we were bothering them. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are gravel and fairly level. There is a bit of grass between sites, which they are keeping green with watering. We haven't seen that much. We used the laundry room and the machines were clean, the room was clean and picked up, but quite hot (no air conditioning). There is some shade in some sites. It is convenient to Craters of the Moon NM and is worth the 18 mile drive to see. We stayed two nights to catch up on housekeeping chores and to relax after a busy 10 days in the NPs in WY. Each day we have seen people working around the campground and keeping it neat and clean. There is a little restaurant with a bar attached to the office. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Not really a destination park, but more than adequate for a visit to the Monument. It was close to the road, but still not too noisy. We would stay here again, if traveling through the area. Owner was onsite and friendly and helpful.

A very nice park, it's not a resort and doesn't claim to be.Well laid out with good space between sites.

It's called Mountain View for a reason, great views, plus the night sky is breathtaking.

WiFi is very very good, with no slow down at all.

Amazingly this delightful park has a'real' restaurant on site.

Not the usual burger and pizza, a full menu and a decent wine selection, some of the best ribs I've eaten (go early they sell out) rotisserie chicken and King Crab legs, in pretty remote Arco Idaho.

Not just a stopover but an experience.

Great value.Thoroughly recommended. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Don't let this one fool you! Just because it's in Arco, you should call for a reservation because this park fills up quickly. We were lucky enough to get the last space during an ATV rally (30 amp). Nice park that is easy to get in and out of. If you want 50 amp service, make sure you request it when you make a reservation. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean with nice lawns and shade trees. Convenient to Craters of the Moon National Park. Very strong winds on occasion-- watch your awnings, etc. Office doubles as a restaurant, run by owners wife. The ribs were outstanding! Some individuals encountered electrical problems at 30 amp sites, we had no problems -- 50 amp FHU and utilized 2 a/c units and all other utilities without issue. NASA staff were also staying at campground as running some tests at Craters of the Moon. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed visiting the attractions in the area. A two night stay would have been more than adequate for us to visit these attractions. Our site was very nice, gravel and level with a picnic table with grass on both sides. The Wi-Fi was strong at our site which was nice. We did not eat at the restaurant but did hear good comments from other campers.

Another reviewer wrote "Some individuals encountered electrical problems at 30 amp sites" and that was also a problem for us. Our surge protector shut down our power numerous times in the late afternoon to the point that we finally gave up and lived on battery power approx. between 4pm and 9pm for two of the three hot days of our stay. The laundry room had three dryers and three washing machines which did not appear to be adequate for the amount of use that it got and room was hot with no air conditioning and did not have adequate space to sort and fold clothes. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Have you ever camped with NASA? Yeah, we did. NASA was set up to run some tests at Craters of the Moon and this is where they chose to stay for a few weeks. How about that for a recommendation? Spaces are wide and with plenty of shade. The food in their restaurant was great as well - the ribs? Perfect with a local micro-brew after a day on the road. We used this park as a spring board to head up the 93 to explore Idaho and up into Montana. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an older park with large sites in both length and width. Utilities are placed in the front half of the site so you don't need to have long hoses if you are towing. The sites are gravel and reasonably level with cooking grills and tables. There is NO cable, very limited OTA, slow WIFI that is suitable for light browsing only, and NO pool. Satellite TV would be possible with a portable antenna to avoid the shade trees between each site. There is a restaurant at the park with a good selection. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed 5 nights 2 weeks ago. On main highway, fairly tight for 40' motor home but doable. Real problem is the overhanging tree branches. Cannot go thru park without branches dragging along side or roof. Park really needs to trim things up a bit. WiFi very good, looks like a good cafe on site. All pull-through park. Avenues are not overly wide but wide enough to maneuver my 40 footer without issue. My site was plenty long for motor home and tow. Level gravel pad with nice large grass area between sites. Good wi-fi speed. Small restaurant on site with good food. Get the Smoked Potato Salad. Don't expect to do any serious grocery shopping. The only store in town has limited selection of basics, only. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.
