Nice older park. Lanes are gravel. Sites are gravel, level and long enough for our 43 ft RV and extra long F350 truck, with lovely wide areas of grass between sites. Each site has picnic table and grill. Plenty of room to put out slides and awnings. There is a large tree at front of the sites. Utilities work well and are set up well. WIFI is good. No Cable but open for satellite dish. AT&T Cell service good. The park is beautiful with views of snow capped mountains. The owner is great and very accommodating. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We attempted to make a reservation in January for the August 2017 Solar Eclipse. They promised to send us a response by April 2017 with pricing - we received no such response. Then when we contacted them in May, they indicated they didn't have a reservation nor did they remember the communication (I have the emails showing otherwise). When I was given the pricing I was shocked - $100/night for DRY CAMPING with a three day minimum. WHAT...a 500% increase over usual camping fees? Really? We have since found an RV site just over an hour away with hookups for $30/night. We cannot recommend these folks due to their unethical practices and lack of communication. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed at this park one night. Park was clean with adequate gravel roads that were easily navigated. Site was long and level. Electric (50 amp site) and water were fine. Bathrooms were dated but very clean. Colocated with the office was a small cafe with a daily changing menu of hot meals (we didn't use). Not much going on in Arco but this is a great one nighter. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park has mostly pull troughs. Some are very long others require long units to unhook. The park is clean and well kept. They have a nice restaurant as part of the park. All the utilities worked fine. The sites are gravel with gravel interior roads. There is grass between the sites. Several sites have trees that provide some shade. The people are very nice and accommodating. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a well maintained campground with helpful and friendly owners. Interior road is hard packed gravel and big rig access is good. Our level pull through site was also hard packed gravel, very spacious with plenty of room for our towed, there was grass between each site with a picnic table, barbecue and some shade trees. A little road noise during the day, but very quiet at night. Views around in all directions. The bathrooms and the laundry were dated but clean. Pet friendly but no dog walk or pick up bags. Wifi was excellent, best Wifi we have ever had in all our trips! And AT&T signal was strong too! The

small restaurant on site was very convenient, and the food was excellent. There are a couple of small grocery stores and restaurants in Arco, but not much else. We would stay here again, it's not a destination resort, but for us it was perfect for a couple of days. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wide open park with easy to navigate the roads. Lots of grass in between sites. Bar-b-que grill at each site as well as picnic table. They were having some wi-fi problems so it was a bit spotty. We smelled their ribs when we pulled into the lot to register....great temptation right off the bat! Dinner was delicious. We shared a 1/2 rack of fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs and each had a loaded smoked potato and side of cole slaw. Too full for dessert but got some for take out for the next day. Cafe open every day but Sunday. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Craters of the Moon National Monument is less than 20 miles west. We detoured to Arco on our way south in order to visit the park and we weren't disappointed. Big contrasts from the mountains, rivers and forests of Glacier NP, which is where we were coming from! Make the detour; it's worth it.

This park was better than we expected. Helps that it was mostly empty. Sites are nice and wide and roads easy to navigate. It is right on hwy 26 with several trucks during the day, but at night we did not hear any. Wi-fi was one of the best we have had. Was able to get the major TV stations over the air, just have to point the antenna to Idaho Springs. The restaurant was good with a nice selection of beer. All the staff were very nice. I don't know, maybe water is free in Idaho because it seems like every RV park is watering all the time. My wife said the bathrooms had carpeting, which is kind of strange, but they were clean. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly staff at check-in. Pull-through sites are gravel and spacious with some shade. Grassy sitting area with picnic table. Restrooms clean, laundry $1.50, dryer $1.00.
Park is situated along highway 26, but there is hardly any traffic. No noise problems.
We had a nice dinner in the park restaurant.
Wi-Fi excellent.

Nice clean campground. Our site was spacious and level. Water pressure was good. WiFi was excellent. The electrical voltage was low and unstable when I first hooked up. Checked it at the pedestal with my Fluke meter. Got readings from 108 to 113. It seemed to stabilize as time went on however. I still used my booster to protect my AC. Curious. Be that as it may, we enjoyed our stay here immensely. We would stay here again. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park in a convenient location. When you go in to register you can't escape the incredible aroma of smoked ribs. Instead of having a small store they have a small restaurant. The owners cook and serve. The park has level sites (all pull throughs) with gravel pads and at least 20 feet of grass on each side. The campground is surrounded by a field so there is no noise. Each site has a built in grill. The wifi was excellent as were the ribs. For less than $20 each we had pork ribs (another reviewer said they were beef but they were pork), giant smoked loaded potatoes and a salad or coleslaw. We took our dessert to go. They have a full bar. The town of Arco doesn't have much, but they were the first city in the entire free world to be powered by atomic power. The park is also only a few miles from Craters of the Moon National Monument. I would definitely stop here again. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park has nice wide parking spaces which evergreens and grass at each site as well as a picnic table. The proximity to the Craters of the Moon National Monument was handy. If you decide to eat in the restaurant, don't go until 5:30. Before that, all they will serve is lunch. But you may may even have to wait if their don't have the broilers turned on. The ribs are delicious but if you're super hungry, take a snack. It may take quite a while before you get your dinner. Too we're used to southern hospitality and didn't get that feel here. More like we were bothering them. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are gravel and fairly level. There is a bit of grass between sites, which they are keeping green with watering. We haven't seen that much. We used the laundry room and the machines were clean, the room was clean and picked up, but quite hot (no air conditioning). There is some shade in some sites. It is convenient to Craters of the Moon NM and is worth the 18 mile drive to see. We stayed two nights to catch up on housekeeping chores and to relax after a busy 10 days in the NPs in WY. Each day we have seen people working around the campground and keeping it neat and clean. There is a little restaurant with a bar attached to the office. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A very nice park, it's not a resort and doesn't claim to be.Well laid out with good space between sites.

It's called Mountain View for a reason, great views, plus the night sky is breathtaking.

WiFi is very very good, with no slow down at all.

Amazingly this delightful park has a'real' restaurant on site.

Not the usual burger and pizza, a full menu and a decent wine selection, some of the best ribs I've eaten (go early they sell out) rotisserie chicken and King Crab legs, in pretty remote Arco Idaho.

Not just a stopover but an experience.

Great value.Thoroughly recommended. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Don't let this one fool you! Just because it's in Arco, you should call for a reservation because this park fills up quickly. We were lucky enough to get the last space during an ATV rally (30 amp). Nice park that is easy to get in and out of. If you want 50 amp service, make sure you request it when you make a reservation. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.
