Nobody there when we were. Apparently it is rarely used when nothing is going on at the fairgrounds. Good location for us to visit family. Parked on grass. No hosts or employees ever seemed to come around. Open from several surface streets. Did not feel entirely secure. But no problems. To use restrooms w/showers, you need to go to the fairgrounds office during business hours (Mon-Fri) and pick up a key after providing a $25 deposit. We would stay here again. You cannot beat this deal! Great grassy sites, kind people, and $20 for water and electricity! We got great Internet access with Verizon and our MiFi. Even four-six channels with our batwing antenna. Awesome! By the third day a baseball tournament had moved in and the parents were jerks about their out of control kids. The park staff helped us move to a more secluded space; they were wonderful! Great place, we will be back! We camped at Fairway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a nice little campground run by the state fairgrounds next door. Nothing special but for the price it is a great deal. All sites are on grass and have water and electric. Dump is on site. Bathrooms/showers are surprisingly tiled and very clean. No Wi-Fi but again for the price we didn't expect any. We would stay here again. We camped at Fairway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Park is adjacent to County Fairgrounds. We followed directions from their website and found it easily. There was no one here but us, all night long. We picked a site and paid the Iron Ranger. Very quiet, really nothing to do, but it worked out well for us for overnight. Super Wal-Mart fairly close by. We camped at Fairway RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This park is actually named " Fairway RV Park", operated by the State Fair. Clean, well-maintained park with little to no other campers and easy access. Don't worry about a reservation. Sites are of grass and with a seemingly never-ending sprinkling system. I found the ground to be a bit soft for a heavy motorhome, but no fear of getting bogged down. Price recently went to $20 and you simply put your money in a pay box honor system style. Good water pressure, Verizon service excellent; Walmart nearby. Dump station on site, too! Would stay here again. We camped at Fairway RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

A great stop while traveling! We stopped in town and asked directions at the first store. Beautiful grassy area; easy access. We loved this spot and we were the only folks there so we were able to let our dog run free. Did not use the bathrooms, but all the facilities appeared to be immaculate--I know the grounds keeping was! A bargain for $15! We camped at Fairway RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
