Overall Rating:

Spent several days here in our 40' motorcoach. Nice concrete pads, paved streets, very well maintained grass throughout, full amenities including a wonderful and spacious, well maintained dog park. Nice public golf course available within Stoneridge resort (for a fee), plus many of the 75+ lots are nicely developed. Reason I did not give it a 10 rating is because #1- there is no cable TV and you only get one channel, ABC (channel 4) on digital antenna. You better have satellite if you stay here. #2- this resort is very remote, located close to the very, very small town of Blanchard. Nearest grocery store is 12 miles north. This resort is truly in the middle of nowhere but is very high end and beautiful. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

The resort is relatively remote, located in the small town of Blanchard. It is about a 30 to 40-minute drive off I-90 on acceptable state roads. Access within the resort is good with paved, wide roads throughout. We drive a 45ft MH and easily got into the MotorCoach section of the resort where we took the car off at the owner's lounge building and drove to our pull-in site. Our site was concrete and roomy with a covered pergola area, although there were no chairs or tables on the site for our use. The sites are level and the coach easily level up with our jacks. Utilities are to the middle of the site and everything worked well, with good water pressure. There is no Wi-Fi in the MotorCoach resort except for the owner's lounge. The Verizon signal was medium strength which we used for internet activity. Satellite reception was good and we received one Spokane channel OTA. The laundry and showers within the owners' lounge are modern and clean. There is a lovely, fenced dog park which receives lots of use during the day. There are no activities for children per se. Although the resort is remote, we found the residents to be very friendly and we were invited to several dinners and activities during our two week stay. They have a wonderful pickleball community who play four days a week. They were very welcoming when we went to play. We would definitely return in the future. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

StoneRidge is within easy driving distance to Spokane and Sandpoint/Lake Pend Oreille. Take a day trip over to Hope Idaho which provides probably the most scenic views of the Lake. There are good grocery stores in Newport WA and Athol ID and a nice little market in Spirit Lake.

Beautiful location north of Coeur d'Alene. Golf course, pickleball, and beautiful indoor and outdoor pools on site. Great dog park. We visited Sandpoint, Priest Lake, and downtown Coeur d'Alene. If you like northern lakes, this is the place. Gorgeous! Friendly residents who invited us to a party. We'll be back. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

We stayed here on the way home from Canada. What a wonderful find! Clean, spacious well-landscaped sites, many residents had already left for the season, but those remaining were extremely friendly and welcoming. Terrific pickleball courts and a wonderful golf course on site. Lovely setting in a mountain valley with beautiful views in all directions. We will definitely return next summer! Terrific dog park, too. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful mountain resort - more than just an RV park. The park is extremely clean and well maintained, with lots of grass around the sites and landscaping that fits a golf/mountain resort area. The sites are all concrete and level. The facilities (bathrooms, clubhouse and pool) all very clean. The big attractions at this resort are golf and pickleball. Everyone we met was extremely welcoming to us - whether on the course, courts, or just around the RV park. We have a dog so also loved the paved 2-3 mile loop around the community for our morning walks. The dog park is the largest we've seen anywhere - and grass, not dirt and mud - a huge plus to us. While the initial drive seems like Stoneridge is far away from everything, it really isn't. It has that quiet, far away feel (which we like) but shopping is as close as 7 miles away. About half an hour away, there are lots of lakes for boating and kayaking, hiking and more shopping and restaurants. This is one of the nicest resorts we've found in our travels around the country and will be back each summer! We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Pros: beautiful location, well maintained golf course and honestly, the BEST dog park in the US. Cons: The RV resort is located in a community comprised of condos, townhouses, duplexes and one family homes. The resort is at the back of the community but RVers need to know that this resort is not an exclusive resort that sits alone. You must drive through the congested homes/condos etc. to get to the RV park. Maintenance was mowing the RV park lawn at 7 am. NO WIFI or television at individual sites. We will not stay here again. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Thanks for your rating and kind review. We had to chuckle though as most of the time one is 'lucky' to encounter any traffic in our resort. After checking your dates here we think you may have encountered our annual Northern Idaho Golf Tournament. The course is quite busy for those 3 days; however, it only takes place once a year.

Please come again.

Stayed at 7 Eagle Way. Landscaped with water feature, small cabin next to common area on passenger side. Excellent dog park, pool & spa, golf course and pickleball. Very friendly owners. 45 minutes from Sandpoint and same to Coeur d'Alene. WiFi in clubhouse and Verizon tower 1/2 mile away. Sadly no ATT, but we have Verizon which worked great. Will be back. Adult summer camp is what the owners call this spot! We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Great park. They are in business to sell lots. Many of the privately owned lots are simply stunning! They are also rented out to folks like us passing through. We were on a lot that was still available to no build up/table, etc. Just not that kind of park. It's beautiful, great for walking, golfing community and had many social activities. The pool was beautiful. Good satellite hookup and strong Verizon signal. Will stay again! We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Absolutely stunning campground in a beautiful location. Nice flowers throughout the complex. We have stayed here before and enjoyed the peace and quiet that this campground affords. If you love golf there is a course right on site. Love pickleball? They have six great courts. Lots of players to help you with your game. My husband and I love coming here. We have been full timing for almost 13 years and we enjoy this place more than any other. Absolutely the friendliest owners and renters we've ever encountered. Highly recommended. Try the excellent Bird museum about 30 minutes away in Sagle, Idaho. Also visit one of the very few inland submarine bases in US. Yup it's true. Would you believe there is a Nordstrom's department store this far north? Over in Spokane around 45 minutes from StoneRidge

Great golfing and fun people but this is not the case if you like to play pickleball down at the new courts. There are a couple of redneck locals from the surrounding community outside of the resort who are rude and like to bully those who want to play pickleball. Sad to see this happen as pickleball and golf are big selling point for those who wish to purchase a time share or property to build a home. If you visit StoneRidge, go to Cherry Hill park in Coeur d Alene as they have ruels that prevent this kind of behavior. Hopefully new management in the future will fix this problem. Like other reviews, beautiful grounds and well spaced sites. Most are owned units but the developer rents out the unsold sites. The only phone service is Verizon. No ATT period. Wifi is available only in the clubhouse. You will not get it at your site unless your are in a site right next to the clubhouse. Very nice clubhouse which I walked to every morning to check email etc. This park is very remote and not much to do here except golf, pickleball or swim. The grill at the golf clubhouse is the only restaurant available. Golf course was good. We would not stay here again. Too remote and no phone or wifi. Thanks very much for your review. Like most mountain RV Resorts StoneRidge is located away from the big city lights, crime and traffic. However, we're only about 40 minutes to Sandpoint Idaho, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington. Each of those unique communities offers some pretty outstanding shopping. 3 Costco's service our area along with a couple of good shopping malls and a wonderful Nordstroms. Part of the charm of being away from the big city lights is the abundant wildlife that inhabits our area. We also don't have planes and trains and sirens.

Thanks again for coming !

Thank you very much for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to do so. We think you might be surprised to learn there are 3 Costco's within 40 minutes of our location and two different shopping malls plus a lovely Nordstrom in downtown Spokane. Additionally there are three different towns to shop and/or explore all within around 40 minutes (Spokane, Wa, Coeur d'alene, Idaho, and Sandpoint, Idaho). Plus the excellent Bird museum is in Sagle, about 30 minutes away.
