Pros: beautiful location, well maintained golf course and honestly, the BEST dog park in the US. Cons: The RV resort is located in a community comprised of condos, townhouses, duplexes and one family homes. The resort is at the back of the community but RVers need to know that this resort is not an exclusive resort that sits alone. You must drive through the congested homes/condos etc. to get to the RV park. Maintenance was mowing the RV park lawn at 7 am. NO WIFI or television at individual sites. We will not stay here again. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Absolutely stunning campground in a beautiful location. Nice flowers throughout the complex. We have stayed here before and enjoyed the peace and quiet that this campground affords. If you love golf there is a course right on site. Love pickleball? They have six great courts. Lots of players to help you with your game. My husband and I love coming here. We have been full timing for almost 13 years and we enjoy this place more than any other. Absolutely the friendliest owners and renters we've ever encountered. Highly recommended. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the excellent Bird museum about 30 minutes away in Sagle, Idaho. Also visit one of the very few inland submarine bases in US. Yup it's true. Would you believe there is a Nordstrom's department store this far north? Over in Spokane around 45 minutes from StoneRidge

Like other reviews, beautiful grounds and well spaced sites. Most are owned units but the developer rents out the unsold sites. The only phone service is Verizon. No ATT period. Wifi is available only in the clubhouse. You will not get it at your site unless your are in a site right next to the clubhouse. Very nice clubhouse which I walked to every morning to check email etc. This park is very remote and not much to do here except golf, pickleball or swim. The grill at the golf clubhouse is the only restaurant available. Golf course was good. We would not stay here again. Too remote and no phone or wifi. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Thanks very much for your review. Like most mountain RV Resorts StoneRidge is located away from the big city lights, crime and traffic. However, we're only about 40 minutes to Sandpoint Idaho, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington. Each of those unique communities offers some pretty outstanding shopping. 3 Costco's service our area along with a couple of good shopping malls and a wonderful Nordstroms. Part of the charm of being away from the big city lights is the abundant wildlife that inhabits our area. We also don't have planes and trains and sirens.

Thanks again for coming !

Great golfing and fun people but this is not the case if you like to play pickleball down at the new courts. There are a couple of redneck locals from the surrounding community outside of the resort who are rude and like to bully those who want to play pickleball. Sad to see this happen as pickleball and golf are big selling point for those who wish to purchase a time share or property to build a home. If you visit StoneRidge, go to Cherry Hill park in Coeur d Alene as they have ruels that prevent this kind of behavior. Hopefully new management in the future will fix this problem. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Thank you very much for visiting us at StoneRidge and thank you for your review. We are sad to hear that you had a poor experience on our pickleball courts. We are in the process with management right now taking steps to prevent this kind of behavior from happening in the future.

No doubt this is a beautiful place but is only for class A motor homes. Only wifi is in owners lounge and is sketchy at best. NO wifi at your sire. Also NO phone service with AT&T. Also NOTHING to do in close proximity unless you play golf or swim. No nearby shopping, museums, etc. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Thank you very much for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to do so. We think you might be surprised to learn there are 3 Costco's within 40 minutes of our location and two different shopping malls plus a lovely Nordstrom in downtown Spokane. Additionally there are three different towns to shop and/or explore all within around 40 minutes (Spokane, Wa, Coeur d'alene, Idaho, and Sandpoint, Idaho). Plus the excellent Bird museum is in Sagle, about 30 minutes away.

This is an ownership RV Park. Once you buy a lot you are allowed to build it out with covered patios, etc. So the lots that are rented out are ones that have not sold. So even though their ad says cable tv offered it is to the lot but they won't turn it on for a renter. They also say you "may" get TV channels from Coeur d'alene, and Spokane. Well, we got one channel and it was very grainy and played only oldies like Rawhide. Also they do not offer wifi. They also told us at check-in that the only cell service that works well is Verizon (which luckily we have). If you are into pickle ball, and golf, etc. this may be a great place to stay, but as we were there only as tourists to see Sandpoint, Spirit Lake, and other areas we felt very shortchanged. Would NOT stay here again. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sandpoint and Lake Oreille are very interesting. We also spent a few hours in Spirit Lake which is full of interesting shops and drove out on the peninsula and enjoyed the views of Spirit Lake. The cafe in the clubhouse offers a good breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices.

Thank you for coming to StoneRidge and thanks for taking the time to send us your review. We appreciate it very much. Darned I wish I knew I could get Rawhide ! Wi fi is available and it's free. We also wish that ATT had service here in Northern Idaho, but they currently do not. Luckily we have a Verizon tower less than 1/2 mile from our entrance so the cell service in the resort is excellent.

Thanks again for your comments.

This a marvelous RV resort nestled into a larger resort community. It's super quiet. The sites have concrete pads, most have casitas/cabanas, and the grounds are immaculate. The RV park is adjacent to the golf course, and there are lovely views of the surrounding hills. We've never been in an RV resort where the owners were as welcoming as this one. It's just a wonderful environment. Despite what a previous reviewer wrote, our site had a cabana (though it was locked for the owner's privacy/security) with ample covered seating that we made use of. We also were able to have relatively good wifi in our coach by connecting (wirelessly of course) to the tower attached to the clubhouse. We'll be back. It's fantastic. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

Stoneridge is a Class A motorhome only park. Many of the spots are privately owned and have small "cabins" and other structures on them. The golf course is superb, the dog park large, pool/spa and club house perfect.

Tennis court is in good shape and the area beautiful...nothing but the best. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

As everyone has mentioned the rv resort is beautiful. Very clean with flowers and wonderful mountain views and golf. Plenty of room for our 45' and toad. We ran 4 A/Cs with no problem.

My only issue was the location. You are 45 minutes from Coeur D'Alene for shopping and dining. Nothing nearby except a couple of small diners.

Several amenities on site (mini golf, racket ball, horseshoe.....) but they are only for timeshare members. The owners were very friendly and socialize at each other's lots.

We ended up leaving early because we wanted more things to do closer. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.

This is the Jewel of the Idaho mountains. Stunning golf course. 6 of the nicest pickleball courts in the entire NW. Very well landscaped. Restaurant on site. Very nice dog park. Free washer/dryer use. Pool, hot tub, showers. Surrounded by mountains and beautiful forests. Lakes and walking trails galore. Everyone was happy and inviting. Peaceful and secluded. Very large lots with plenty of room. The days were sunny and nights were cool and we enjoyed our stay completely. we will gladly visit here again soon. There are lots for sale and we are considering buying here after visiting multiple resorts all over the country. I highly suggest that you come and see this resort. One of the very best places we've stayed in almost 11 years of traveling. Outstanding views in every direction. Very nice golf course and they have a bunch of brand new pickleball courts, too.

Nice pub and grill on site. Spacious layout of sites...large concrete pads with manicured grass in between. Wide streets. Best dog park of any RV park we've visited...and we don't even have a dog.

Excellent Verizon service. We camped at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community in a Motorhome.
