13 Parks near Boise, Idaho
Jul 2016 - $35.00
This is a very nice campground, our only complaint is that the sites are narrow. It also has more than half full timers, they are friendly and there sites are kept up nicely. The dog run area is well used and looks like a social gathering place. We have stayed here before and will in the future. - sjones
Jun 2016 - $37.00
This is an extremely well kept RV park. There is grass between the sites which is well maintained, as well as the park being very neat. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a beautiful pool and we particularly loved the grassy off leash dog park for our puppy. Lots of friendly people and dogs. Verizon air card and phone worked well here. Easy in and out for our big rig. It is near lots of restaurants and a short drive from shopping, as well as downtown Boise. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. - Danni
Jun 2016 - $35.00
We mainly came for the pool, as the weather suddenly heated up a lot. The park is very well maintained, all installations, etc. are in perfect order and very clean. The staff is very friendly to both adults and kids. There is space for dogs to enjoy and a small play ground for the kids too. The pool was very nice and the hot tub was quite big. We would stay again. - International tourist
Sep 2012 - $26.00
When we pulled in the office was closed for the long weekend so it was self check in. We drove through the site which was dirt roads and dirt sites. The park was almost full of permanent residents and really unappealing. We left and really would not recommend it. - Terry G
Aug 2012 - $25.00
This RV Park is dominated by the rudest manager I have ever come across. Non professional, lacks people skills downright mean lady. She locks down the bathrooms and told me, "Too bad. You live in a RV use the damn thing!" She lies and says she is the owner of the park, not allowing anyone to complain to higher ups. The park is dirty. Its a park that people use to live at, with all their corresponding junk and cars. I would not stay here again if it was the last spot on God's green earth. - mrsnoose
Mar 2012 - $18.00
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this park. The Manager was very nice and the restrooms, showers and laundry were updated as well as always clean and tidy! We'll stay there anytime we are anywhere near Nampa, Idaho. - RV On The Move
Jun 2016 - $40.00
Me my wife and two kids stayed at Mountain View RV and had an enjoyable experience. It's nicely located off of highway 184 and near Boise airport. The noise didn't bother us at all and we had peaceful sleep. Probably the best feature of this park was it's Wi-Fi. My sons were able to play video games while my wife and I were able to stream movies with no problems. Probably the best feature of this park was it's Wi-Fi and how clean it was. We were able to hop on the freeway and go explore Boise within 10 minutes time. All and all a great stay. - CampingLife1960
Jun 2016 - $35.00
Very neat little park. Site are close but on the bias so not too close. Occupants mostly workers in 5th wheels. Between I84 and the Airport so a little noisy but was able to get a good nights rest. full hookups worked great, Wi-Fi worked good (we were fairly close to office). Great for a night or two. - mlbarry
Oct 2015 - $35.00
First the pros. Easy access from the freeway (see cons). Restrooms and showers are very clean and shower stalls are quite large with lots of hot water and great water pressure. Combo locks on the doors. Not a huge park with a lot of permanent residents in well kept neat sites. Spaces are paved and level, all pull-through with mature trees. No extra charge for pets. Great Wi-Fi, 30 and 50 amp service, sewer and water.
Cons, very close to the airport and freeway. That said, I was able to sleep well both nights. The dog walk is across the street (which isn't busy) but it's just a dry grassy field full of burrs which got stuck in the dog's pads and fur. There are dumpsters at the park exit but if you're parked near the entrance it's a long walk to the dumpster. One at each end would be nice. No picnic tables at most sites. No poo bags for the dogs so bring your own. This was OK for two nights but any longer I would find a quieter spot. - Islandgirllil
Jul 2016 - $37.00
Very clean park, staff was friendly but didn't seem to know much about the area around the park. (Things to do and services.) Wifi was poor at best. Spent two weeks, and would come back now that I know the area. - snrstang
Jun 2016 - $33.00
We'd come from Arkansas and this was the first RV park that truly lived up to its rating. It is so well maintained, immaculate! Bathroom/shower combos were private, immaculate and even included a clean bath mat! Sites had ample space and tables were really neat. Staff couldn't have been nicer.
Only thing lacking was poor wifi, but I believe they are working on it. - Martin and Beth
Jun 2016 - $35.00
We stayed here several years ago. We had just started RVing and at the time, it was one of the best RV parks we had been to. I recall wanting to pick it up and take it with us to all our stops! We have been fortunate to stay at many nice ones since but this remains a favorite. It has such a good feel to it. It's located about a mile from the interstate down a quiet dead end road with an agriculture field as a neighbor. The check in area is spacious and well marked. The streets are wide, the sites are long and spacious, the restrooms are spotless and plentiful, each with their own toilet, sink and shower. The grounds are immaculate. Staff is super friendly. Utilities worked fine. Great cable. Great satellite reception. The one thing that really disappointed us this time was the WiFi. We could get on o.k. but it bumped us off continuously, like every few minutes. Nice pool, activity room and small gym. You can even wash your rig and tow. For the price, you can't beat it. - VegasVagabonds
Jul 2016 - $31.00
Clean, well kept. Staff is helpful but does not go out of the way to help in finding or backing into site.
Sites are unusually small in length for a KOA. Place is like a cattle feed lot without the stench (all RVs are jammed in). Streets are narrow with vehicles parked on the sides (makes it difficult to park your camper).
I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. - Poe Dog
Apr 2016 - $40.00
Campground is well maintained, and the permanent residents' sites are clean and cared for. It is centrally located close to Boise and its suburbs in a decent area; whereas some of the other Boise suburb campgrounds are in questionable neighborhoods. The cable worked well, but we didn't use the bathrooms, laundry room, etc. We camped here for a month prior to moving across the country. My only complaint is how fast the cars move through the campground. - Roadschool
Nov 2015 - $13.00
price is monthly rate.Everything was great except vehicles driving way to fast in park. - dave58
Jun 2015 - $25.00
we rang and originally booked for 3 nights. The office was closed when we arrived and we noticed the local Sheriff parked at the gate (incidentally he was parked there the entire time we were in the park)
The Park is mostly long term , questionable tenants and run down trailers RV's with rubbish all over the place.
The pull through site was VERY tight for our RV and we required assistance to get it in. The park manager and his partner were very helpful (thus the 3 star for service)
We did not feel safe in this RV park and decided at 5 am to leave and find another park more to our taste and comfort level.
The office didn't open until 11 am, so we left our credit card number for the one night payment - we should have received the Good Sam discount, however upon looking at our credit card this morning, we see it was processed for the full nightly amount.
We would definitely not stay here again. - Keez
Jun 2015 - $20.00
We stayed here last year and tolerated the barking dogs and questionable long-term residents, but when we returned this year things had deteriorated. Dog poo in our tiny yard meant we had to step carefully every time we went from our rig to toad and back. A neighbor's dog barking woke us from a sound sleep, then a loud conversation kept us from falling back asleep. A neighbor rear-ended his own fifth wheel with his car, knocking it off its jacks, so we worried it could teeter over onto our rig. We also worried about him missing his rig one night and hitting ours, so we moved. We'd prepaid three more days but weren't offered a refund. Wifi wasn't working the few days we were there and the manager (owner?) didn't seem interested in getting it back up and running. This location is mostly a long-term RV park for local workers -- not a place I'd recommend for active travelers. - ellenbenr
Jun 2015 - $25.00
We stayed here a few years ago and it was OK but now I would rate it as the worst RV park we have stayed at in our 6 years of full timing. There is no quiet time at all as the park is full of permanent residents who do not understand what quiet means. There is dog excrement all over and dog noise constantly. One resident actually ran into the back of his 5th wheel, knocking it off the front pegs and he was very inebriated. I would never stay here again. - Roger W
Jul 2016 - $34.00
As mentioned, the positive is access to the hiking greenbelt. WiFi is next to useless. VZ jetpack worked well. Decent ATT cell.
Tightest spot we have seen in two years of full time. Slides missed by 6 inches. Had to duck under to get to electric. No shade. No table.
Rate was the weekly, no "clubs" discounts.
Lots of dust and dirt, even without a breeze (it was 90 degrees).
Would go out to Caldwell next time. - 1yrfulltime
Jul 2016 - $36.00
We just overnighted here and found all of the other reviews to be on point. It is just a big gravel lot, so it was dusty. We didn't use any of the facilities or amenities, but I did enjoy a run along the Greenbelt. It was shady though as much of it was just a paved path between fence lines and trees. I wouldn't have felt safe if there weren't so many other bikers out on the path. - lpsmith
Jun 2016 - $25.00
Clean and quiet campground. We got a W/E site that backed up to the Boise River Trail, a walking and biking path that heads along the river for miles. Lots of birds and a heavy deciduous forest along the river made sitting outside pretty nice. The site was pretty tight. If someone had been camped next to us I am not sure our awning would have fit. Some of the full hookup sites are a tad bigger, but not by much. Pads and interior roads are gravel but in good shape. Our site was level front to back and side to side. - UTTransplant
May 2012 - $25.00
This is older park with friendly staff. Brother in law lives near here so I chose this park as there were not a lot of choices. It is clean, right on the edge of downtown and very close to McDonalds. Gravel pads were reasonably level. Spaces very close. Wi-Fi worked ok and TV was good. - User1286
May 2007 - $14.00
Small, pleasant RV Park located behind the motel. About half the sites have long term residents. The park is quiet, very well maintained and centrally located in Emmett. Owners are friendly and helpful. Clean laundry with 2 washers/dryers. No restroom facilities, so you need to be self contained. Rates are very reasonable, we paid $70 for a week. - RVRoadie
Jun 2016 - $27.00
This is an inexpensive trailer park for permanent residents with a couple of short, 30 amp, pull-through sites for overnight guests. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry were dated but fairly clean. WiFi worked well.
I would not stay here again. - JoyceM
Nov 2015 - $28.00
Park has a lot of year round sites. Some older vehicles but no accumulation of debris. Very convenient huge dumpster on the way out of park. Water pressure good, and sewer system in good shape. Management is extremely helpful and professional. - steppin right along
Jul 2015 - $25.00
I am fairly new to RVing and have only stayed in a few parks. This park was everything we could have dreamed of. Very helpful staff. Beautiful, nature filled park, with ducks, fish, squirrels and varying birds. I felt like we found our own little piece of nature. Very quiet at night and peaceful. Very friendly community among the few guests that stay longer periods for work and such. I was very impressed with the price as well as the price of items in the store. Store prices were much better than most convenience stores, plus items you may need for your RV. Beautiful shaded spots. Very clean laundry and bathrooms. Park itself shows that it is well cared for. We were there 4 days. Outside maintenance people were always busy working on park upkeep, yet very willing to help if you have questions. Will definitely return for another pleasurable stay at that park. - Jewlz
Sep 2014 - $15.00
For DOD/Military employees/retirees ONLY. 7 Sites. Great place for overnight stay. No amenities except for full hookups which worked well. Sites are level and paved but close together, easy access back-in sites. Restroom and Showers are not available. Some airport noise but not bad, otherwise very quite and safe (inside base). We would definitely stay here again - on the road 65
Nov 2013 - $10.00
This was our first stop on a trip from Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA to my new duty station at Fort Campbell, KY. Truly a wonderful find! At only $10.00 per night you get full hookup in a secured area, Air Force Security Forces man the gates, free laundry, access to a small Post Exchange, and just an overall nice place to stay. I made reservations, hard to come by for military camps as many are first come first serve. The lady was very courteous on the phone and related they would leave the keys to the power box on my site, site "F" if we were going to be a late arrival. We rolled in close to 2300 (11 PM for your military types) and there was a young, sharp Airman manning the front gate who within 30 seconds, checked our ID's (required to get on base) and had us on our way. The base itself is quite small when compared to Active Duty installations. This was very helpful though as we navigated the streets to the campground at night. As mentioned in a previous review, the campground is not a resort but provides concrete pads (ours was cracked on the back end) but leveling was not a problem as we were only staying the night and remained hooked up to the truck. I was able to place my 2011 F150 6.5 SuperCrew and Jayco 29QBH on the site without sticking out in the road. This did require backing up the absolute max distance. Hook ups are well maintained and sites are clean. Exercise field with a pavilion were close by as was a fitness center. Nice open field allowed me to run my dogs (with poop bags at the ready of course). Overall this would be a great place to stay to explore the area and the price simply cannot be beat. Very thankful for this benefit of being a Service Member. - Jim in WA
Jul 2013 - $10.00
I rated this place pretty high because of the price ($10) for full hookups and the fact there is free laundry and close access to the fitness center. This has been a very good stop over for us for a week. My WiFi/internet and satellite TV worked well here. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we made the reservations and checked in. I was able to wash and wax my RV which was nice. The full hookups included concrete pad. The campground/parking is on the edge of the compound and is what I would call a modest facility. But it works for us and we would come here again. - rwarner22
