The lady taking my reservation was rude and put off by my questions. She said the place had beautiful green grass (Not) and a easy to get to location (Not). They are 5 miles off the freeway, which had road construction that took us through the parking lot of a grocery store. The showers are not separated from each other. You go into the laundry room and men are on one side and the women on the other. The bathroom/showers only have a curtain going into them. For a woman or child, this is not safe, anyone can walk right in. The sprinklers come on early in the morning, so no pottying for the dogs. Would I go here again or recommend this place? I would never go back because of the snotty attitude and was lied to about the grass, to which was weeds and dirt. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

About 5-6 miles off of the interstate through some busy traffic. Interior roads gravel. Sites are of a big variety as far as patios, size, trees, etc. Our site was plenty long for the fifth wheel and a separate place on the side to park so worked very well. Got satellite. We had a little grass spot next to us outside our door. No table. Utilities worked well. We were pretty close to the office so Wifi signal was strong. Wifi worked decent during day until late afternoon then no throughput at all. Strong Verizon signal. When register and pay you agree to no refunds! We would stay again for another short stay. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Guide to the site and assist with alignment of the RV in the site. Front row sites are nicest, with pretty well placed utilities. Planter area between RV and Tow Vehicle, with concrete and grass. Patio area is grass with sprinklers that come on every night. These sites don't require much leveling. Laundry $1.50 wash and dry. There are many long term campers but most of the sites are kept clean. We have stayed here before and will return when in the area. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is easy access to the hiking trail but access to the island is gone, the bridge washed out in February rains. During our stay the local RV retailers participated in a "show" at the fairgrounds, right next door to the CG. The World Center for Birds of Prey is close and a great place to visit. Live and recovering birds of prey, condor restoration project. Plenty of shopping nearby. Fuel at Fred Meyer was about the cheapest.

Not like advertised. Couldn't even put out slide, neighbor's awning too close. Could not put out our awning, next site too close. Water didn't work. Didn't know this till I went to fill tank at end of stay. No room to park tow vehicle, was to go park in park road. Some idiot blocked the road by parking in front of an extended coach, they didn't care. Nice laundry. Shower dribbled water. No shade anywhere for RVs. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The tent sites are pretty awful. Uneven rough ground, no privacy, backed up against the stadium fence. Conflicting information between park employees as to where you can pitch your tent. One picnic table for about 6 sites, no fire rings. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Tent.

Very nice park. Very clean, friendly and quite. Right next to the Greenbelt and the Boise River trail system. Nice level sites. We stayed in a deluxe site with a grass strip and separate parking for your tow vehicle. We stayed there for 6 nights. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

The reality is that this park is primarily for long term, permanent residents. Only the first two rows are reserved for transient RVers. The RVs in the other rows was a mixture of new rigs while others were in various shades of disrepair. There was one RV that had tarps over its roof . The first two rows were mostly pull-thrus and originally designed as "side by side". Now they are just one site. There are two electrical boxes side by side - one containing 50/15 amps and the other has 30/15 amp service. The voltage was good hovering around 122 volts. Some sites shared a water spigot most did not. The electrical box and water spigot was in the appropriate side. Most of the pull-thru sites were long enough for a RV and a tow. The interior roads and sites were on crushed rocks. There were many small pot holes that you can trip on. The first site that was assigned to us was not level so were moved to another location. Picnic tables were available upon request. WiFi was available but not really usable. Verizon air card and phone reception was good. A dump station with fresh water along with propane was located near the office. The laundry and bathrooms were very clean. The laundry has 8 washers and 8 dryers, both costing $1.50. What this park has going for itself is location. The greenbelt was next door and downtown Boise was a quick 15 minutes away. During our stay there has been major flooding due to releasing of water from the reservoirs upstream. Only about 3 miles of trail was not under water. We would come back to this park only because of its location. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Although a nice RV park, it just seemed to be an average RV park. Our site was gravel with a small concrete pad with picnic table. No fire pit or ring. and no Wi-Fi or cable TV. There was a cable coming out of the ground, but we were told it was not connected to any thing. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wanted to write because I thought a previous review was unfair. We previously lived in Boise so stay at Riverside RV frequently when we come back through town. The campground is a combination of live-ins (mostly towards the back) and campers coming in for nightly and weekly stays. We have stayed in both areas and do prefer the transient section but the other isn't bad. Most sites are decently kept. The majority of sites are relatively spacious and have a grass or a concrete patio and parking for the extra vehicle across from the grass or patio. Staff has always gone out of their way to be helpful and the location along the Boise River Greenbelt is great. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Campground is adjacent to minor league baseball park and fairgrounds. You can hear cheers from the games in the summer evenings. The RV park is crazy busy during the fair in mid-late August - not my favorite time to visit, but even then it was fine.

Riverside RV Park is nice as long as you focus on the first three rows. The first row are the back-in sites that have water and electric only. The next two rows are pull-thrus sites that have FHU. The pull-thru sites have a strip of concrete and a strip of grass giving it a spacious look.

There are two sections to the back-in sites (Golf Course and Green Belt). Golf Course (sites 1 thru 10) has a make shift utility service. The electrical service was fastened to the picket fence and some lines were on the ground. Each site is connected to a green water line also attached to the picket fence. I sure hope this green hose was approved for drinking. We chose not to use this hose for drinking water.

The Golf Course sites were fairly long but definitely not level. We have seen many RV's bottom out trying to get into the site. The Green Belt sites were shorter in length and have the typical pedestal arrangement.

Beyond the first three rows are the long term residents. The sites are "side by side" and are extremely tight. Some of the rigs look that they have been abandoned but people are living in them. There is a lot of "junk" surrounding the sites. Multiple cars per site parked haphazardly. Not a pretty site.

The bathhouse had 4 showers per gender and (8) washers @ $1.50 and (8) dryers @ $1.50 for 60 minutes. The bathrooms were clean but starting to show their age. WiFi was available but not very usable. You would need to go to the office for good reception. Verizon air card and phone reception was good. There is a dump station within the park. Some of the trees need to be pruned.

Considering this is an inner city campground, some leeway should be made. However, I do think that management should have tighter controls on what is allowed on a site as well as the condition of the rigs.

This is probably the best campground in the area. Remember that this campground is located in Garden City not Boise. We would come back being aware of what to expect. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Our first night was spent in a Long Term site, in the dust bowl, next to the stream. The next morning we were able to move to the pull through sites in the front rows. These sites feature full hookups, a strip between your RV and the tow vehicle parking which is concrete walkway and grass. Plenty of room. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The River Walk is just a few steps away and great stuff...including the Cormorant Rookery. The fairgrounds were pretty quiet during our stay, late in the season. This is a handy location, near major stores and amenities. We enjoy our stays here and will return when in the area. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is mostly permanent residents. It is a gravel parking lot with dilapidated/broken cement patios. The patios in the section for overnighters and visitors do not necessarily correspond to the position of the MH. Cable/phone boxes are sometimes in the way of getting slides out.

The location is great for a visit to Boise. It provided easy access to the entertainment district and downtown. It is along the greenbelt with fishing, biking, and walking right at your front door. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

All staff was friendly and most helpful. Office staff provided maps and information on local attractions. We stayed in a W&E back-in site next to the river trail, as that was all they had available during our 5 day stay. Those sites are very close together, although you could hang out with some privacy at the rear of your rig, facing the trail and in the shade. It seemed like the pull-through sites are saved for those staying at least a week. The best feature for us was that it was right on the Boise River Trail, allowing us to ride our bikes to downtown (10 miles round trip). Very nice trail. Very dusty. Nothing paved only gravel. There is a 5 MPH limit to keep the dust down and they say that the speed limit is strictly enforced but that is absolutely not true. Winds will often create dust storms within the park. I gave it a "Bad" review for cleanliness due to their lack of effort to control the dust.

Sites are close together.

Some permanent residents and some complete POS rigs.

Park is wedged between the fairgrounds and the riverwalk. Also made a reservation for full hookup site and only had water and electric when we got here.

You must disconnect because you have to park perpendicular to your rig. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
