We have stayed here before and while it's a very tight park, found the service and convenience excellent for an overnight stay. Owners were very friendly and helpful. My only gripe was that the Wifi didn't work. Laptop hooked up to their server but the server wasn't communicating with the internet, so no connection. Over the air TV worked well with more than 10 channels. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park convenient to all Boise sites. Restrooms exceptional. Showers the largest I've seen. Hosts are very friendly and helpful with directions to things to do in Boise. It was hot! while we were here and the watering of grass at each site was a nice cooling help. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very neat little park. Site are close but on the bias so not too close. Occupants mostly workers in 5th wheels. Between I84 and the Airport so a little noisy but was able to get a good nights rest. full hookups worked great, Wi-Fi worked good (we were fairly close to office). Great for a night or two. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We overnighted so didn't do anything local, but seems it would be a great location to explore Boise.

Me my wife and two kids stayed at Mountain View RV and had an enjoyable experience. It's nicely located off of highway 184 and near Boise airport. The noise didn't bother us at all and we had peaceful sleep. Probably the best feature of this park was it's Wi-Fi. My sons were able to play video games while my wife and I were able to stream movies with no problems. Probably the best feature of this park was it's Wi-Fi and how clean it was. We were able to hop on the freeway and go explore Boise within 10 minutes time. All and all a great stay. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

First the pros. Easy access from the freeway (see cons). Restrooms and showers are very clean and shower stalls are quite large with lots of hot water and great water pressure. Combo locks on the doors. Not a huge park with a lot of permanent residents in well kept neat sites. Spaces are paved and level, all pull-through with mature trees. No extra charge for pets. Great Wi-Fi, 30 and 50 amp service, sewer and water.

Cons, very close to the airport and freeway. That said, I was able to sleep well both nights. The dog walk is across the street (which isn't busy) but it's just a dry grassy field full of burrs which got stuck in the dog's pads and fur. There are dumpsters at the park exit but if you're parked near the entrance it's a long walk to the dumpster. One at each end would be nice. No picnic tables at most sites. No poo bags for the dogs so bring your own. This was OK for two nights but any longer I would find a quieter spot. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is okay, but I doubt I'll go back. It sandwiched between the highway and the Boise Airport. It makes it convenient to a lot of places, but it is noisy. The sites are very close together, they are paved and level..but no picnic table, just a small piece of grass between sites. The owner was friendly and helpful. The WiFi is marginal... We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you're looking to be out and about in Boise, this is a good park. However, it's right on I-84 and extremely close to the Boise Airport; therefore it's rather noisy. The sites are tight but set on an angle so your next door neighbor is not exactly right on top of you. Mostly workers in their trailers or 5th wheels, not too many 'vacationers'. We just wanted to tour Boise for a day so it worked out OK for us but I wouldn't spend any significant time here otherwise. Sites are kept clean; no 'trashy' rigs. There is cable TV but our site didn't have it; wireless Internet is here but very slow. We used our Verizon MiFi for better connectivity. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay here. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There are many long-term residents here, but their sites are kept neat. The utilities worked well, and we had a clear shot of the sky for satellite. The campground is located within walking distance of Boise Airport, but we were not bothered by airline noise. Very convenient to the many things to do in Boise. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Manager was great and very helpful. Although the campground borders the freeway noise was not a big factor. Surge Guard protector gave messages that there was electrical problems on periodic bases, talked to the manager but he could not find a problem. Detector did not show problems before arrival and no signs since departing. Well maintained park including bathrooms and showers. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

This RV park is very clean and convenient. The only real drawback is that, being next to the Interstate, it is very noisy. We kept the fan on all night and slept just fine. The shower house is spotless. The sites are close together, but several big rigs were parked there. There are no recreation amenities, but we did not want a resort - we wanted a place close to the historical downtown. We would definitely stay here again if back in Boise. Only park in Boise and is pretty nice. Traffic noise from 2 rows over (I-84) but doable. We are in site 29 but wouldn't take this site again as hard to get out of because of a tree next to our site. Have to get the rver across from us to move his car for us to get out. Now has free WiFi which everybody in the park is on it in the evening. Next time will get a site from 4-8 behind us. Easy in and out with no tree to go around. Grass by each site (watered each day). Will stay here again when passing thru. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an old park. Right smack dab next to the interstate. Road noise was quite loud. Mostly long term residents. Very narrow roads. Would not stay there again, even though it is convenient to downtown Boise. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sadly, this park has a lot going for it, but we got no sleep, even with ear plugs. The I-84 freeway is literally on the other side of the wall from this 3-row park. It's 4 a.m., and the trucks are still roarin' by, 24 hours non-stop. Even though these are the best showers we've had in a month, and they get our sparkling bathroom award, we won't choose to stay here again. We wish these friendly hosts well. We spent 3 nights here while visiting with relatives in Boise. We were in site 30 which was easy to enter and exit in our motorhome with tow. The site was wide with some shade. It is very close to the freeway, and airport, while this made for easy access to town and shopping, it was very noisy. This is the only RV park within the Boise city limit which is why we chose it. No dog area except for a dried up field across the street in an industrial park. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

I would agree with all previous comments. The park Wi-Fi was weak for us and we were camped near the restroom. Verizon signal not real strong here either but our Verizon MiFi worked better for us than the Park Wi-Fi. We would stay here again. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.
