Distant mountains could be viewed on the horizon only in a few places in this park. Road noise from ten lanes of Interstate 84, unfortunately, was constant except for a couple hours around 3 a.m. The sounds through motor home walls repeatedly interrupted this writer's sleep; his spouse, amazingly, snoozed comfortably. The campground is separated from the interstate by only a 6' high wall and 5' of buffer space with some greenery. Campsites are very close together. "Free" WiFi usage was very restricted. Long term customers made up about 2/3 of the campers. Satellite TV was available at many sites. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice little RV park with a great location in Boise. The park is right off the freeway which gives easy access to the greater Boise area. The sites in the park are asphalt with a small grass area between each site. The sites are long enough for a full size RV and tow vehicle. The park has a small bathroom and shower area, laundry room and they offer working wifi. Overall Rating:

This very clean park is right at the south end of the Boise Airport and right next to the Highway 84 freeway. That said, it is not all that noisy; we had no problems with jet or traffic noise the three nights we were here. Check-in was fast and efficient. We were led to our sight by the very polite and helpful manager. The restrooms and showers were spotless. The park is all paved pull-throughs. Our 23 footer and pickup used up the entire site. There is a small strip of grass between sites and lots of shade trees, well trimmed back for the rigs. Water and power were good. Got about fifty off-air TV channels. Pay ($3/day) Wi-Fi was OK speed and dependable. Turns are tight, and roads are narrow. We saw plenty of larger rigs that squeezed in. Very convenient to downtown and freeway access. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

When you come off the 84 freeway onto S. Vista, you immediately face the entrance to Boise Airport. You MUST turn left immediately on W Airport Road before the airport entrance or end up in the airport. Check- in will only accommodate a single rig.

This is the second summer we have visited Mountain View RV Park. The staff has been great offering help when needed and taking excellent care of the park. Although the park sits between the freeway and airport, the noise is tolerable outside and barely noticeable inside with he AC going. All the nice things about the park outweigh the distractions of the noise. Our site had plenty of shade and the facilities were good. The park seems to be at capacity most nights during the summer, so reservations is a must, or good luck for walk-ins. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

.We spent one night here at the beginning of a long trip, so it was a quick in-and-out. The staff was very helpful, and our site was paved and pretty level. The only downsides were the location (between an major highway and the airport) and the tight spaces. That said, it is an easy place to get to, and has great access to activities around Boise. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here before and while it's a very tight park, found the service and convenience excellent for an overnight stay. Owners were very friendly and helpful. My only gripe was that the Wifi didn't work. Laptop hooked up to their server but the server wasn't communicating with the internet, so no connection. Over the air TV worked well with more than 10 channels. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Super friendly, helpful owners live on site. Very clean and well kept. Sites fairly close with shade trees. Quite a few long term/permanent residents. The residents were quiet but the campground sits between a freeway and an airport so there is always traffic noise. Easy in and out. Good OTA tv reception. Good Verizon connection. All pullthru sites. Very tight but maneuverable roads and sites. Clean laundry room. I would stay here again. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park convenient to all Boise sites. Restrooms exceptional. Showers the largest I've seen. Hosts are very friendly and helpful with directions to things to do in Boise. It was hot! while we were here and the watering of grass at each site was a nice cooling help. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very neat little park. Site are close but on the bias so not too close. Occupants mostly workers in 5th wheels. Between I84 and the Airport so a little noisy but was able to get a good nights rest. full hookups worked great, Wi-Fi worked good (we were fairly close to office). Great for a night or two. We overnighted so didn't do anything local, but seems it would be a great location to explore Boise.

Me my wife and two kids stayed at Mountain View RV and had an enjoyable experience. It's nicely located off of highway 184 and near Boise airport. The noise didn't bother us at all and we had peaceful sleep. Probably the best feature of this park was it's Wi-Fi. My sons were able to play video games while my wife and I were able to stream movies with no problems. Probably the best feature of this park was it's Wi-Fi and how clean it was. We were able to hop on the freeway and go explore Boise within 10 minutes time. All and all a great stay. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cons: The freeway is very close and noisy. There is no dog walk area, what they call the 'dog walking' area is a field across the street with weeds and fox tails. The sites are very narrow. No cable TV. Very narrow site with a small strip of grass.

Pros: The showers are very clean and large. Staff is really really nice. They just installed new wifi and it worked great. Each site has a very narrow strip of grass. No dirt. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

First the pros. Easy access from the freeway (see cons). Restrooms and showers are very clean and shower stalls are quite large with lots of hot water and great water pressure. Combo locks on the doors. Not a huge park with a lot of permanent residents in well kept neat sites. Spaces are paved and level, all pull-through with mature trees. No extra charge for pets. Great Wi-Fi, 30 and 50 amp service, sewer and water.

Cons, very close to the airport and freeway. That said, I was able to sleep well both nights. The dog walk is across the street (which isn't busy) but it's just a dry grassy field full of burrs which got stuck in the dog's pads and fur. There are dumpsters at the park exit but if you're parked near the entrance it's a long walk to the dumpster. One at each end would be nice. No picnic tables at most sites. No poo bags for the dogs so bring your own. This was OK for two nights but any longer I would find a quieter spot. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is okay, but I doubt I'll go back. It sandwiched between the highway and the Boise Airport. It makes it convenient to a lot of places, but it is noisy. The sites are very close together, they are paved and level..but no picnic table, just a small piece of grass between sites. The owner was friendly and helpful. The WiFi is marginal... We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you're looking to be out and about in Boise, this is a good park. However, it's right on I-84 and extremely close to the Boise Airport; therefore it's rather noisy. The sites are tight but set on an angle so your next door neighbor is not exactly right on top of you. Mostly workers in their trailers or 5th wheels, not too many 'vacationers'. We just wanted to tour Boise for a day so it worked out OK for us but I wouldn't spend any significant time here otherwise. Sites are kept clean; no 'trashy' rigs. There is cable TV but our site didn't have it; wireless Internet is here but very slow. We used our Verizon MiFi for better connectivity. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay here. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There are many long-term residents here, but their sites are kept neat. The utilities worked well, and we had a clear shot of the sky for satellite. The campground is located within walking distance of Boise Airport, but we were not bothered by airline noise. Very convenient to the many things to do in Boise. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.
