Very clean park, staff was friendly but didn't seem to know much about the area around the park. (Things to do and services.) Wifi was poor at best. Spent two weeks, and would come back now that I know the area. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

As other reviewers said this is a very nice, well maintained park. The roads are paved, the sites are level gravel, and each has a plot of grass. Spacing is very good. The park is well located for excursions. The pool area and common facilities are quite nice although the pool is small for a park this size and usually has some group of adults standing at the center. They re entry changed their wifi provider so it is improving...there are multiple towers. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rates quoted above were for weekly stays. This park has wide, paved interior roads with excellent pull-through sites. Our site was crushed stone with a large cement patio and a beautiful grass strip between sites. The location was optimum for the sun rise and set and close to the pool, recreation center. Park offers free coffee/tea each morning and the people were very friendly and accommodating. They guide everyone to their sites which is nice. Water and sewer hook-ups were excellent, however cable tv required a long co-axial cable (>25 feet). Only minor negative was the large number of full-timers living in the park. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Caldwell is a nice area to stay for ease of I-84 and getting to Eagle, ID (15 miles) or Boise, ID (25 miles). Caldwell has excellent winery tasting opportunities only 10 miles from the park with over 50 wineries in the area. Boise offers a great botanical garden, Boise State Univ., the Boise greenbelt (25 mile bike path), the Raptor Center and the State House Capitol. Eagle is a beautiful suburb with great shops and restaurants.

We stayed here several years ago. We had just started RVing and at the time, it was one of the best RV parks we had been to. I recall wanting to pick it up and take it with us to all our stops! We have been fortunate to stay at many nice ones since but this remains a favorite. It has such a good feel to it. It's located about a mile from the interstate down a quiet dead end road with an agriculture field as a neighbor. The check in area is spacious and well marked. The streets are wide, the sites are long and spacious, the restrooms are spotless and plentiful, each with their own toilet, sink and shower. The grounds are immaculate. Staff is super friendly. Utilities worked fine. Great cable. Great satellite reception. The one thing that really disappointed us this time was the WiFi. We could get on o.k. but it bumped us off continuously, like every few minutes. Nice pool, activity room and small gym. You can even wash your rig and tow. For the price, you can't beat it. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We'd come from Arkansas and this was the first RV park that truly lived up to its rating. It is so well maintained, immaculate! Bathroom/shower combos were private, immaculate and even included a clean bath mat! Sites had ample space and tables were really neat. Staff couldn't have been nicer.

Only thing lacking was poor wifi, but I believe they are working on it. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Fairly new with immature trees but very clean and well organized. Free high speed WiFi and all paved roads. Only a mile or so from downtown but wide open spaces surround the resort. On-site swimming pool and spa. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park, clean with a nice patio and grass between sights that are very well kept. We stayed here for three days and there are some very nice shopping areas close by. There are some long term tenants and as long as the park doesn't allow those to junk up the park there will be no problem. They have a very nice pool, hot tub and spa and a very nice exercise room and game room. The employees are very helpful and easy to deal with. We would stay here again if in the area. We've stayed here many times over the years in 5W's, MH, and TT. It is a relatively new park, but already there are many permanent residents (around the periphery). The sites are spacious, and are maintained like new. The only problem we have experienced was the rocked parking site softened during the rainy season, but recently it appears they are attempting to reduce this by using a pavement roller to compact the sites. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for one night, a very enjoyable stop, the price is slowly going up, and a problem that we had this time was the internet was almost useless, slow and unusable. Lot spacing was nearby with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface was a concrete pad with gravel and grass, featuring a picnic table. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We've stayed at the Ambassador before when traveling through this area. I'm a little concerned that it's turning a little bit trashy. Boats, older cars, extra vehicle on sites etc.

On the plus side the entry roads and in-between roads are extremely wide and easily to navigate, even for the biggest rigs.

Underground sprinklers are also a nice plus so your coach does not get water stained. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A Flying j truck stop is just down the road.

Instead of going to Boise down the Interstate, when looking for a restaurant or sightseeing, go out the resort and turn left at the traffic light. The road has lots of restaurants and places to stop and explore. Plus the drive is very pretty in a semi rural kind of way.

We have now stayed at Ambassador twice during our travels. The sites are big rig friendly. They are gravel sites with a concrete patio and picnic table. The park is clean and well maintained. Trash is picked up daily at your site. The sites are fairly well spaced apart. I have stayed at better spaced parks but Ambassador certainly isn't the worst regarding space between sites. They have a clean rec room, game room and library. For the furbabies there is a nice grassy fenced in park. Wish it were larger but the dogs seem to like it. Ambassador is conveniently located to Caldwell, Nampa, and Boise with plenty of stores, restaurants and shopping. WiFi worked great. For big rigs the roads are paved and very wide for easy access and departure. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

St Chapelle Winery. Beautiful ride to get there along Chicken Dinner Rd. The winery is clean, pretty and has nice views. Loved the wine tasting. For a sweeter wine try the ice wine.

I have stayed here on two occasions while traveling through the area. The staff are attentive and professional. Clean restrooms and showers. All sites are great, open and gravel and including a picnic table and patio. The park has all the amenities you would expect at a 5 star RV Park. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park proves you can have a 1st rate park without paying an arm and a leg. 3rd time here, just as clean as ever. Staff was very helpful. Needed to extend our stay over Labor Day and they made it happen. Easy I-84 access. The showers even have individual bath mats. Huge sites, paved patio area and grass between sites. Quick check in and we were given a site close to the bathrooms, which was handy since our A-frame doesn't carry a toilet. Seven bathrooms are individual, home style with sink, toilet and shower in each. Cloth bathmats provided. Small round picnic tables on a narrow concrete strip beside each site with a strip of grass separating us from the next site. All are pull-through. Minor road and rail noise, most noticed at night.
