We stayed for one night, a very enjoyable stop, the price is slowly going up, and a problem that we had this time was the internet was almost useless, slow and unusable. Lot spacing was nearby with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface was a concrete pad with gravel and grass, featuring a picnic table. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We've stayed at the Ambassador before when traveling through this area. I'm a little concerned that it's turning a little bit trashy. Boats, older cars, extra vehicle on sites etc.

On the plus side the entry roads and in-between roads are extremely wide and easily to navigate, even for the biggest rigs.

Underground sprinklers are also a nice plus so your coach does not get water stained. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A Flying j truck stop is just down the road.

Instead of going to Boise down the Interstate, when looking for a restaurant or sightseeing, go out the resort and turn left at the traffic light. The road has lots of restaurants and places to stop and explore. Plus the drive is very pretty in a semi rural kind of way.

We have now stayed at Ambassador twice during our travels. The sites are big rig friendly. They are gravel sites with a concrete patio and picnic table. The park is clean and well maintained. Trash is picked up daily at your site. The sites are fairly well spaced apart. I have stayed at better spaced parks but Ambassador certainly isn't the worst regarding space between sites. They have a clean rec room, game room and library. For the furbabies there is a nice grassy fenced in park. Wish it were larger but the dogs seem to like it. Ambassador is conveniently located to Caldwell, Nampa, and Boise with plenty of stores, restaurants and shopping. WiFi worked great. For big rigs the roads are paved and very wide for easy access and departure. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

St Chapelle Winery. Beautiful ride to get there along Chicken Dinner Rd. The winery is clean, pretty and has nice views. Loved the wine tasting. For a sweeter wine try the ice wine.

I have stayed here on two occasions while traveling through the area. The staff are attentive and professional. Clean restrooms and showers. All sites are great, open and gravel and including a picnic table and patio. The park has all the amenities you would expect at a 5 star RV Park. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park proves you can have a 1st rate park without paying an arm and a leg. 3rd time here, just as clean as ever. Staff was very helpful. Needed to extend our stay over Labor Day and they made it happen. Easy I-84 access. The showers even have individual bath mats. Huge sites, paved patio area and grass between sites. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Quick check in and we were given a site close to the bathrooms, which was handy since our A-frame doesn't carry a toilet. Seven bathrooms are individual, home style with sink, toilet and shower in each. Cloth bathmats provided. Small round picnic tables on a narrow concrete strip beside each site with a strip of grass separating us from the next site. All are pull-through. Minor road and rail noise, most noticed at night. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

If only I could be assured that every RV park was like this one, I would indeed be a happy RVer. There are wide, excellent driveways, super long pull through sites with gravel base, concrete patio and nice green grassy strip. Hookups include good cable TV selection in addition to sewer, water and 50 amp electric service. Pool, game room, common area and kitchen facilities are among the bonus amenities as well as lots of DVDs you can borrow. Nice service and a reasonable rate round out the package. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Convenient to Flying J and Interstate 84. Other shopping nearby.

As with our many stays here in the past, we had a level, gravel, FHU, pull-through site. Personally, I find being escort to your site in this park ludicrous. Because of the organized (15-20 sites on each of the 4 sides enclosing 8 rows of 15-20 sites) way this park is laid out, there is no reason for an escort for the vast majority of customers. I still think the large gravel stones that cover most of the site are a walking hazard. With the hookups at the entry of the site and the cement patio far forward and to the right, very few RVs will be able to line up with easy access to the hookups and their door at the patio. This is a very poor design. The cable listings showed 25 channels but half of them, including the network (ABC, NBS, etc.) channels and TWC (among others) were blank on the TV screen. The internet provider was Tengo and (Surprise!) worked OK. This park is about half long-term and permanent residents. For example, many of the perimeter sites have large propane tanks, decks, sheds, etc.) . The laundry and individual bathrooms are OK, but too few for this big park. The pool is definitely too small. There are bins for cardboard, paper, and aluminum but nothing for plastic. The staff appear to be mostly work campers who are nice enough but in no position to do anything about any complaints you may have. Poor site design, poor amenities (cable TV and small pool), make this a barely above average park. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A new park and very nice. Friendly people, quite, and clean pet areas. Nice laundry, but a bit small for this large a park. They are planning a second though. Great spacing, and they did keep an empty space between RV's. Cable and wifi worked good and staff was very friendly. I stayed here twice in Aug. Will stay here again. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Excellent Park, actually meets what we feel is the "Resort" in the name. Most do not. Very large sites, large gravel under the rig, concrete patio, level, wide asphalt drives and roads . Very well maintained grass areas. Pool area very clean, building very clean, private dressing area with shower, toilet, and towels. Wi-Fi worked great. If you are in the area do not miss staying there as you will not be disappointed. They also allow RV washing. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Very near Flying J, most major department stores, Cracker Barrel, Panera Bread, shopping centers, etc.

This is a very nice park with paved streets. We were escorted to our site which is very helpful. The sites are level and the hookups are good. The park is maintained very well and the staff is friendly. The pool and hot tub are a nice amenity. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are lots of wineries in the area. Also scenic drives to take.

Chosen due to proximity to Nampa and Fruitland ID where we have friends, stayed here two nights and both nights it was quiet, pleasant sleeping for both of us. The restroom/showers area large enough for two people to use which was nice. They provided shower mats also, which one could use and toss in laundry basket after usage. Did not use other areas which are provided, check in was friendly, and when we mentioned Baskin & Robbins, one of the staff members gave us the address of one nearby. Pleasant place to stay, and will come again. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Staff is very helpful in providing assistance whenever needed.

Fast check-in, competent and pleasant staff. Only way to describe it is "spotless" level parking with a strip of grass between sites. Hook-ups worked well, lots of cable tv channels. Good wi-fi, reasonably fast. Will be great when the trees get bigger. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.
