Very nice host/owners. Site/park was easy in/easy out, with a little road construction at the I-90 exit. GPS was spot on. As another review mentioned (and I'm glad they did) I had an issue with low voltage - 110 was all I could get at times. Be sure to have a EMS. Didn't hook-up water so I don't know about that. Some sites have sewer hook-ups available, but not all. Big bicycling area, ride from the park! My Verizon jet pack pulled in 2 bars, so was able to check e-mail. My AT&T phone dropped calls with one bar...or none. For one night it was a good place to stop. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We chose this park because it is about half way between other places we stayed at. It is situated along the Coeur d'Alene river, about 30 miles east of Coeur d'Alene, just off of I-90. It has scenic views of the river. There is a beautiful paved bike trail that runs through the park and follows the river for miles in both directions. The access is paved, the pads are concrete, and very level. Most, if not all, have electric and water, some have sewer. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The access to I-90 is convenient but the freeway noise is a downer... although this was no bother when we were sleeping. The bathrooms were clean and perfectly functional, but VERY homemade ("funky"), and might not pass code where we live. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the bike trails... We liked east better than west. Didn't disconnect because site was very level and only stayed one night.

Pros: New asphalt roads and level concrete pads. OK water pressure. For the size of the campground, many sites will accommodate bigger rigs. Turning clearance was no problem in our 40' rig. Beautiful riverside location. Cons: Electrical voltage was on the low side (110-112) and required the use of a booster (autoformer). Restrooms/showers were clean but are in a converted trailer and thus the space is maximized by use of curtains and awkward plumbing (shower is above your head). No AT&T service. Verizon 3G (weak). No WiFi. Overall this park is great for an overnight stop, and the owners try to maximize what they have. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We did a drop in as our day had been confusing and a tad frustrating. What a perfect find. The Host (Owner) was so fantastic, especially since we had no reservations. You have to pass under a guide wire, and he guaranteed we could get through with our new Big Rig, and he was correct. Site was on concrete pad and very level. Only downfall that really mattered if you had ATT, there is no service. Verizon is working. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Motorhome.

Beautiful, peaceful park right on the Coeur d' Alene River. The pads are concrete and level. The grass is kept mowed in a large area so pets can be walked in comfort.

There is no wifi available in the park. Also, there's no cable or air channels.

Some road noise from the nearby interstate. It's the price to pay for easy on/easy off. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I really like this park but it has negatives. Positives: Small park with newly paved streets and concrete pads, great location as it is right next to CDA Trail for biking, moose viewing in the nearby ponds, lots of grass. Personnel is very friendly. Negatives: Old 30 amp electric; they keep the roads blocked with cones which you have to keep moving every time you leave the park, overhead wires & tree limbs can make it difficult for big rigs to enter/exit the park. I did not see inside the restrooms but the building is very old. There is lots of potential for this park if a few improvements were made. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Motorhome.

Like the other comments, this is a nice park but do not camp here unless you are using a voltage meter in your coach. The electric is very bad and you will not be able to run your AC on a hot day with all the other campers trying to do the same. It is on the river and the bike path - very nice. No TV at all. Perhaps the cleanest and nicest RV park we've ever stayed in. Nice wide paved pull through spots and all of the utilities worked great. A little freeway noise , but the sound of the Coeur De' Alene river more than compensated for this. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Just plain pads, but nice smooth site and roads. Not too many fellow campers. Our family who live nearby say they have been making improvements to the place. Stayed one night and did hear some highway noise but it didn't keep us awake. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park is another example of a good place to overnight: asphalt driveways, level concrete pads, full service pull-throughs, maybe a bit pricey for a one-nighter. Then, there's the moose. A quarter-mile down a bike path around sunrise and sunset, two adult moose and at least one baby chomp their way through waterlilies in a slough (think "swamp"). A least they did in mid-July. See the manager for exact times. Contrary to an earlier report, this place is not closed. (They did shut down for two weeks when the paving was put in.) We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Motorhome.

A perfect overnight park for traveling along highway 90. Everything I look for in an overnight stopover. Well cared for, safe, quiet, pull-through sites, it was even picturesque being next to the river. Owner states that concrete pads had just been added in the last year which eliminated need for leveling. Friendly owners on site. Check-in took 5 minutes, owner escorted us to site. Didn't use bathrooms so I can't comment on those. Within 150 yards of highway with highway noise which with our AC on we didn't hear inside rig. The perfect overnight stop. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Once you get past the front entrance, it is a nice attractive park with large concrete pads and right on the river. No sewer, but dump at entrance. Park is right on the Coeur d'Alene bike trail, which is wonderful. If the park had Wi-Fi, I would have given it a higher score. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Motorhome.

Beautiful little, bare bones campground right next to the Couer d'Alene River and just off I-90. Concrete pads and most sites just water and electric. Dump station available. Very friendly owners. No Wi-Fi but Verizon Hot Spot worked fine. Deer ran through park while we were there and moose were there the day before we came. Green grass throughout and we walked dogs next to the river. Noted lots of bicyclists as well as kayakersstaying there. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were thrilled to find this cool, relaxed and comfortable RV park. The only downside was the noise from the nearby interstate and truckers using their Jake brakes on the downhill side of the pass. Did not disturb our sleep, however. All sites are pull-through. What a plus! Though there is no sewer hookup, there is a dump that is conveniently located at the exit. We camped at Kahnderosa River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
