Rate reflects Passport America discount. Very friendly staff and checking in was a breeze. Watch for the small sign at the entrance to the park from the highway. Very small and hard to see. They charged us $3 to use a credit card which I am seeing more and more these days. Sites are huge with very good power and water pressure. Recommend you use a water pressure regulator. We used this park as a base for exploring the area. We will return again. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Very large, level sites. Could use a tree, maybe a little grass and better wifi service. Minor issues for this price and quiet location. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Very large spaces. Excellent separation between spaces. Quiet having no road noise. Facilities were excellent. Laundry room was very usable. VERY easy in and out. Easy satellite locks. This place could be near perfect. One frustration... The office has a sign that asks that you ring a door bell to get service. One time I visited the office and rang the bell several times. Could see the young lady behind the counter on the phone for a VERY long time (several minutes). Am pretty sure it was a personal call. The door was never answered. The owner appeared later and helped me. Excellent with two exceptions 1) Advertised WIFI never worked for even a second. Connections are present sometimes but are very weak and come and go. But when you are connected there is still no Internet. 2) Shade would be really nice and I see that they are working on this. Currently there is no shade. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

We'd give this a 10 if the roads were paved. Easy on off 93. Easy to navigate. Huge spaces. Good internet. Very clean. Nicest PA park we've been to. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

This is a quiet park, long and wide sites with trees. Superb OHV RIDING from here to Land of the Yankee Fork, 100's of miles. The locals are so helpful also! We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

What a great value! Long, wide sites, minimal leveling required, utilities worked as expected. Quiet at night, park wifi better than average rv park. Neighborhood is not particularly scenic, but nothing terrible either; distant views of snow-covered mountains was very nice. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Large long sites with large grass area and picnic table. Gravel parking area. Right on highway 93. The $19 rate is passport america with a 4 day limit and is a great value. All utilities worked fine- wifi was a really spotty but adequate. Not a lot to do in Challis but the scenery is wonderful and the area is quiet. Would definitely return next time passing through. Good OTA TV for the network channels. Verizon service very good. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If coming from the South - we would recommend Pickle's Place in Arco for lunch. Also if coming from Idaho Falls do not miss the EBR I World's First Nuclear Power Plant. This is a national historic site managed by the NPS. Very interesting.

I reviewed this park in 2014 before it had new owners, A rundown neglected park struggling to stay in business at that time . What I see now is a park that is trying to improve things and make a comeback under different ownership . The sites are very large for pull through's can accommodate any length and the power, water, sewer work just fine for our particular needs we are right at 65 for long . We were pretty much the only ones there this time a year so the views were wide open and it was super quiet in the park. The owners seem to have daytime jobs so you don't even see them till late in the evening. The park is still a passport America Park, you can stay here for four days doesn't matter what day it is before the regular amount kicks in. There is the main road which runs through the middle of the park, this is also access for other areas not sure where but there is some light traffic that comes and goes more in the evening then any other time I noticed . We did actually go over to the golf course and look at that park. We chose this park over that one due to the fact it had longer sites and much more level . Hope this park continues to improve and also remain a PA park. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

The cost seemed high for a dry camp, especially with only dead grass and gravel to camp on. The "patrolling" of the park was too much! Waking customers and neighbors during the night (1:30- 2:00am) to question parking permits, threatening to have PERMITTED cars towed. We would not recommend staying at this park. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Tent.

We came here because we have Passport America. They are very very large sites but there is nothing around the sights. It is like a large parking area with gravel and power water and Sewer. We could not hook up our sewer however due to the strange configuration of the pipes. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

This was originally a park for modulars so the spaces are "spacious" with lots of room between. There are no trees yet which is good for satellite dishes. The managers are friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of the two grocery stores. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

To find the place, turn at the Jones and Casey Funeral Home modular, near the Stinker Station. We visited Challis Hot Springs about 7 miles from town. There is a more expensive RV Park there which looked nice.

Rate indicates Weekly Discount. This is a formerly neglected park that has shown great improvement. The sites are gravel, very wide and very long and level, with grass between. My 39' Moho towing a F-150 had at least 25' left. Trees will be helpful for shade in a year or 2. Managers are very friendly and helpful. I'll go out of my way to return. Stayed 2 days. We have a big rig and fit in the large level pull-through site with no problem. We were one of only 6 vehicles. Check in was quick, staff were friendly. We had good cell service and wifi. The covered picnic table was nice. Not many amenities here but we would stay again if in the area. This is a good sized park with very large sites - extra long because it used to be a mobile home park. I don't know why all the big trees were cut down at some point but they have planted new ones - yet it will be a while before there is any shade at all. But this makes the satellite signal easy to get. The wifi is excellent and our Verizon 4G was strong as well. The wifi might diminish if there were more people here - there were only 3 other rigs here when we were here. The management is very nice - I think they are trying to rebuild this RV Park and appreciate the business. Our rate ($19) was Passport America - but I think they take all the other ones too. All utilities were fine and the restrooms were small but clean. Again - if they ever fill this place up I would be a worried about availability of the restroom. They have a lot more sites than that facility can support. We would stay here again if in this area. Would be nice to have a picnic table at our site. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Travel Trailer.
