We stayed a total of four nights as part of a tour group. The sites were level with grass on both sides. Had good water pressure and 50 amp service. They have cable but there was so much static you couldn't watch it. They say they have internet and we were able to get on it for about 5 minutes the whole time we were there, very frustrating. Ended up using our Phone as a hotspot to get internet service. Very nice park and dog friendly and you can tell by the piles laying around. Even though the location is great we would stay someplace else if we ever got in the area again. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The down town area is great with lots of shopping and places to eat. One restaurant is with in walking distance of the park and located on the water.

Very crowded. The amenities were nice and included a nice beach area and dog park. Although sites had some space between them, there were so many RVs in park it actually felt like a parking lot, at least to us. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Located right on the Spokane River where it meets Lake Coeur d'Alene, this is a picturesque campground. The park is predominantly pull-thrus so in/out access was very convenient. Site length was decent and accommodated a 39' rig and truck very well. Pad was gravel and reasonably level. Site had a picnic table and decent space between other sites. Check-in was easy and the office staff very helpful. Electric, water & sewer were conveniently located and functioned well. Wi-Fi connectivity was not so good. Cable was ok. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The campground is a great place to home-base from while you tour the Coeur d'Alene area. There are numerous spots with stunning views and lots of history involving the early explorers and mining.

A decent enough park for our 45' motorhome. Better parks are in the area; however sites at those parks are somewhat tight and just gravel sites with not much of a view. A little expensive we thought for the area! We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If staying at this facility avoid the back row sites. Too tight and not very interesting (no views etc).

Friendly staff, very nice park on the Spokane River. Good entertainment watching the boats going to/from Lake Couer d'Alene. Lots of riverfront seating provided for doing just that. Grounds are very well kept and no evidence of seaonal campers. An excellent destination park with a bit of a stay in mind. Kayak and boat rentals to get out on the lake. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Wish the office associates were. They acted like they were doing us a favor by being there. Paved roads but gravel sites. Well maintained and each spot has a grassy area. Water views if you have a window in the back. Spots were barely long enough for our 40 foot rig. There is a gravel pet run and a pet swim area. High water pressure so you must have a regulator. Wireless connection but it was very sporadic. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an absolutely wonderful park that contains so many amenities that it is hard to not rate it a 10. It is a large park fronting Lake Coeur d'Alene with very ample sized sites and well placed utilities. Showers and toilets are in individual private rooms that are well maintained. On site recreational activities include swimming, fishing, boating and kayaking. This would be a great place to spend an entire summer. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice RV park to stay in. No shade within the park and some trees would be nice. Beautiful views of the river. Great pet friendly areas. Nice level site. Walking distance to the very nice Cedars Floating Restaurant. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hello. Great location. Our site was #26 and it was a gravel pad with grass. It was an end space with extra room which was nice. The showers/restrooms are all-in-one and clean. The shower water had good pressure and it was hot. There is little to no shade throughout the park as all of the trees are young. The enclosed dog play area is all gravel, no grass at all, which we thought was horrible. What dog wants to run on gravel? Do humans like to run barefoot on gravel? No. Neither do dogs. The trail to the river was nice and the water was clear and our dog enjoyed taking a dip. The laundry room is quite large with 10 or so washers and dryers. We would likely stay here again. Just wish the enclosed dog area was grass, not gravel. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is an excellent RV Resort. While it is expensive, it is worth it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The sites are gravel, but level and there is lots of room between sites. It is clean and well kept. You also have access to the beach that includes chairs and picnic tables. It is very family friendly. The Wi-Fi is spotty, but you have great reception on your phone. A great place. We were in a 39' rig. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access to/from highway. Friendly and helpful staff in the office. Some roads were paved and some were gravel, all sites were gravel. Park was generally clean. Utility hookups were convenient. Not many trees at all so easy to get line of sight for roof mounted satellite dish. Right along the Spokane River which is the outlet to Lake Coeur d'Alene. Had a nice beach area. We would stay here again. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

PROS: Friendly staff (with the exception of Mr Grumpy); level, graveled sites with adequate utilities; beautiful grounds around the entrance and along river; nice beach with Adirondack chairs and umbrellas; large, clean laundry; picnic table and grass area at site; walking trails mostly graveled; game room. CONS: Was never able to access WiFi; site was near highway which was sometimes noisy; dog park was gravel; Mr.Grumpy. NOTE: You need a water regulator in this park. We used our satellite in lieu of cable. AT&T phone and hotspot worked fine. We would stay here again. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mostly gravel sites that are fairly level and some with partial shade. The big draw here is the Spokane river. Along the river beach the park has many Adirondack chairs and umbrellas for shade. We enjoyed swimming and floating in the river. Restrooms were very clean although I thought lighting was poor especially in the set of restrooms at the office. Park is walking distance to the excellent Cedars Floating restaurant. We will visit again. We camped here in a motorhome. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice check in, but they did not escort us to our spot. Grassy area and a picnic table. Great laundry room. The wifi was nonexistent and the cable was fuzzy, but got good reception on our antenna. Great area on the river if you like to swim. Great place for kids. We could not see the river. We would not stay here again as it a bit pricey for what u get. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We found this park to be very lovely, just next to the river and Lake Coeur d'Alene. Paved roads, with adequate gravel sites, large grassy area and table. Full hookups and good cable TV. Used our own Wi-Fi, so cannot comment. Will look forward to staying here again, and perhaps renting a boat to explore the lake. A great stay. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
