15 Parks near Council, Idaho
Aug 2015 - $27.00
The new name for this park is: Weiser River Trail RV Park. The owner is very helpful and pleasant. Site is long with full hookups. WiFi is good. Beautiful area when not filled with smoke from several fires. Very quiet. We would stay here again. - Jerryws98516
Jun 2014 - $30.00
We stayed in site #7. Grassy level sites, long pull-throughs, quiet location, good Wi-Fi, and just a walk from town. Great food at the Council Cafe at a bargain price. Park appears well kept but is in the process of being acquired by a new owner. Hopefully it does not close down, because at the price of $30 for full hookups it is a good deal. We would stay again for sure. - gritz
Jun 2014 - $21.00
This was truly one of the quietest parks we have ever stayed in!! We were welcomed by our host as soon as we arrived, she let us set up,answered all questions, then told us we could come by the office and register when we were ready. Great water pressure, wifi was excellent, no cable, but the mountains in front of the park was good enough!! We stayed here two weeks as a "base camp" while we explored the area, and traveled to Portland. Will stay again!! - Tiger Archer
Feb 2016 - $25.00
This is a great place to stay if you want to get away and soak in a hot springs pool. This is not a traditional campground, but the people are very friendly and the pool is a great place to relax. The camp spot is among mobile homes, but the pool is what we went for. We parked our trailer right behind the bistro/office in a pull-through spot and had power, water and sewer available. There is a bathroom right next to the spot and showers close as well. We spent two nights and will go back again. We couldn't use the sewer because the connections were too small, but there is a free dump at the fairgrounds in Cambridge off of Hwy. 95. - Jeff_and_Lisa
Jun 2015 - $23.00
Don't waste your time or fuel. The CG is just a run down trailer park with a few spaces for RVs. This is probably the lowest rating I ever gave a CG. We booked 3 nights after looking at other reviews. When we arrived we almost turned around after driving 300+ miles. The hot springs pool is closed on Mon & Tues. (never mentioned this at time of booking) Only stayed overnight. Would NOT come back. - norootsnow

Such a delight! Driving by we noticed the sign for Mundo Hot Springs and turned down the dirt road. We followed the signs for about 2-3 miles and came to this small campground set in a farming area. They have a hostel or cabin you can rent, a few tent sights and a few RV pull-through sites and a couple back-in sites, all pretty much on grass with a few trees or bushes. Electric, water, and sewer. The delight is the beautiful pool filled with crystal clear spring water. All enclosed by a high lattice fence, there is a little sitting area, flower garden, changing rooms, bathrooms, and a hot pool attached to the bigger pool. They have a wheel chair ramp with hand rails leading into the pool. The temp of the water is perfect and there are so few people, it feels like you have the place to yourself. The office and pool are only open 4:00-8:00 PM, which allows plenty of time to soak. The sign says bistro too, so I am assuming the owner will make food for you in the office kitchen area. There are several full time mobile home residents surrounding the park, but it is peaceful and quiet. The park is right next to a river and my husband caught many fish right below where the hot spring water comes out of the ground and flows into the river. The fish were literally jumping. We absolutely loved our stay and we will come back anytime we are in the area. - Celeste T
Jul 2012 - $25.00
Sites are side by side in dirt lot behind motel. Shade trees behind RV, with grass. Just about the only park around. Power and water were good. Cell (AT&T) very weak. - kmgulf
Jul 2006 - $22.00
We used this as an overnighter and to store our trailer while rafting down the Snake River. This is located behind the motel and access is through back alley. Other spaces were used for long-term stay. Not much to brag about but handy for those planning to raft through Hell's Canyon. Owners were very friendly took the time to help us locate stores and restaurants in town. Owner also coordinates car shuttles and allows for vehicles to be stored in parking area while visitors are rafting. Very convenient. - kayakflyfisherman
Aug 2016 - $30.00
This is a quaint, old RV park that is fun to be in because the caretakers are wonderfully friendly. "If you can't get comfortable here, it is your fault!" I am quoting the manager. I concur with the previous reviews about the satellite and small sizes of the sites. Good for an overnite. The only thing about the bathrooms i would complain about is the very short/small "barroom" type swinging doors on the stalls. We would come back. - saturn7
Aug 2015 - $10.00
I would discourage those looking for a quiet, restful RV park from staying here. This park is full of working men that get up early, start their diesel trucks and let them run for 10 minutes before pulling out and heading to work. Also, WIFI is low grade. very little bandwidth, so if the park is full, good luck getting online and staying online.
Having said that, the onsite managers are friendly and helpful. - jsharp
Aug 2015 - $23.00
Nice park with adequate FHUs. No 50 amp and a sat connection is difficult as there are trees. Wifi is good as is cell reception (ATT). Sites are on the small side but satisfactory. Grounds are clean but the park is a bit dusty and could be better manicured. Staff is very nice and helpful. This is an excellent location to explore the beauty of Idaho and the town of McCall.
Rate reflects a weekly rate. - nmunozjr
Jul 2016 - $30.00
friendly service clean only full hook park in the area. - NevadaJim
Jul 2016 - $32.00
Mostly long term inhabitants. Only 4 short term sites, but all pull-through. Very accommodating host, but a very dusty park even though speed limit is 5 mph. Also, two speed bumps that are very severe. If 50 amps isn't necessary I'd stay at the another park up the road. - wow
May 2015 - $16.00
Nice little park down the hill from McCall. Got to look for the sign on the right with a tight driveway.
Very dusty to get to the office. Owner checked us in and was very friendly. Fine 50 amp and good water pressure. No Wifi but our Verizon MiFi had 2 bars so good to go.
Nice grass area in their park.
Would stay here again when in the area. - Bluebird Bob
Aug 2016 - $49.00
Outstanding! Awesome! We've stayed here several times, during different seasons, and it's always wonderful. It truly is a glorious resort. Lovely grounds, fantastic staff, beautiful facilities, great location, pretty gardens, nicely maintained. We love this place, and will always choose McCall RV Resort. - Luv to Travel
Aug 2016 - $48.00
I love this park! Owned by G-7, run by happy, helpful people who are always around to help, offer advise, or answer questions.
Everything is immaculately! The covered pool is so nice for the swimmer and for noise reduction throughout the park. The RV spaces are wide. Garbage is collected from your site quickly. The plants and flowers look healthy. It is located close enough to town and far enough away that campers can relax outside and enjoy the quiet.
They escort you to your site and make sure everything is satisfactory before leaving.
There are cabins as well which makes it a good meeting place. - angieglad
Jul 2016 - $35.00
Part of the G7 group of campgrounds. Beautiful, clean park with spacious sites. Less than 2 miles to downtown McCall. Town has biking routes throughout and sits on beautiful Payette Lake. One of our favorite parks. Easily accommodated 41 ft motorhome and tow vehicle. Enjoyed pull in site, overlooking river. - Rose & Noel
Aug 2015 - $37.00
Concrete pads and mostly level but Tons of leaves ! We could not get Satelite TV and was not able to use their internet. The laundry has 5 new washers and 5 dryers shabby appearance but looks like they are working on improving. Close to town and airport. - dd2some
Aug 2015 - $35.00
Now this was a pleasant surprise. We could not get a spot at Ponderosa so we elected to try here. A-1 on friendliness and accommodations and suggesting local activities. My wife and I have a dog with our 30' trailer, and a daughter and grandson with family arriving later in the day in separate cars. Getting a site to accommodate us all seemed unlikely. We wanted a site that we could put a tent up adjacent to. We were not asked if we had a dog, were not charged extra for having 5 adults and 3 gg-grandchildren and assigned site 24. $35 a night ... what a breath of fresh air to get such a bargain. The concrete pad was perfectly flat, we had shade in the hottest part of the day and plenty of room for a large tent. The traffic from both the road and airport was surprisingly quiet, even though we were in view of both. Now ... forget the wifi .... like Ponderosa Park's wifi ..... totally unusable (and you have to pay at Ponderosa). If you walk up to the office ... yes, it will work. But this is no different than 80% of all RV Park wifi. So setup your hotspot with your phone if you need the Internet. You came here to avoid it anyway. There was mention of inadequate and dirty showers .... that was BEFORE July 4th, 2015. The bathrooms and showers now are expansive and ... well, very very nicely done. And just a short skip to town ... you could even walk. I highly recommend this park. Free popcorn too .... - gritz
Sep 2013 - $10.00
We stayed here for 3 weeks during the end of September and beginning of October. We chose this RV park for their low rates. Only 300 for a month. Location is good. Very close to downtown McCall, 1 mi, we walked into town most days. Although it is directly on the main road so you do get a lot of traffic noise in the day, it is very quiet at night. The park itself is nothing to get excited about. VERY small park to accommodate 17 sites. We have a 34' 5th wheel and had a bit of a time getting it into our site. Be fore-warned if you have a rig of similar size. Owners are nice folks and accommodating when asked even though we were hardly greeted and were never given any information about park rules, fees, amenities or any of the like. Bottom line it fit our needs, cheep and near town. But the park could use some updates or more room. - tpsmith82
