Compared to other campgrounds in the area between Mountain Home, ID and Salt Lake City this campground was the best we could find. Like other reviews said they escort you to the site, resides along the Snake River, close to I84 and is clean. There are many older trailers here that look like they are here long-term; this makes it not so pleasant. There is a small store/carry-out food which was ok. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to City of Rocks and is convenient stopping point on way to Salt Lake City or Boise.

Campground is clean and well organized. Sites are easy to pull into and out of. A host guides you directly to your site. Campground store has a cafe and also a large fuel stop (did not use). It is a very good overnight stop at a convenient spot near an Interstate Junction (I-86 & I-84) and nearby I-15. Sites are a bit close together but not objectionably so. Full time residents are numerous. A good overnight stop. I have stayed here twice. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The restroom/shower set up is nice, with everything in one private room. It was heated sufficiently and was clean. Check in was easy, and the gentleman who escorted us to our site was very pleasant. (check-in clerk, not so much...not particularly friendly). There are always dogs running around in this park, without benefit of a leash, so there is the possibility of finding poop in places, but overall a nice park. It has a small amount of traffic noise from the nearby freeway, but not anything that would disturb sleeping. We have always stopped here during the slow season when there aren't a ton of people and it has been nice. They offer food delivered to your site from their "restaurant" on site. We didn't try it. The wi-fi was extremely slow, as seems to be the case in most rv parks. I can't imagine how it would be if the park was full. We would stay here again as a one-night stop over. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park with lots of trees as the name suggests. We asked for a site that was satellite friendly and it worked great. Short walk to the Snake River with a picnic area and grass that was well set up. The site was long enough we did not have to unhook the toad. The utilities are well place the roads are wide and the sites are large with grass between the sites. This was a well maintained older park. There was some road noise but did not bother us, we would stay here again. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Easy access to I-84. Park was clean. Sites were a little close but well maintained. A good place to pull over for the night. Level sites, grass and good areas to walk the dog. We stayed in a 42' RV. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This a very nice park offering good value and a pleasant environment. Check in at the service station was efficient. Interior roads were gravel and very wide making maneuvering a no-brainer. All sites are pull thru, level, with ample width and length. Utilities were well placed and all worked well including the wifi. Lots of spacing between sites which all had grass and picnic tables. As the name implies, there were plenty of mature trees for shade. We don't have kids or pets but there was plenty of space for both. Easy access to I-84but noise never a problem. Nice grassy picnic area next to Snake river with boat launch and modern docks available. We stayed three nights to take advantage of visiting the City of Rocks which is a pleasant 42 mile drive from the park and Shoshone Falls, about 35 miles west near Twin Falls. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The City of Trees is a great place to visit, historic (California Trail), and a geological spectacle. The grill int he service station has a wide ranging menu with low, low prices and delivery to your site if you wish.

Everything you might need, you will find here. When you arrive, you are escorted to your spot. Then, you can walk along the river, or explore the park, or enjoy the campground. Lots of room to explore. If you are hungry, you can order from the restaurant, and they will deliver food to your campsite. The pizza is not bad! If you come at Halloween, you will be treated to an amazing array of scary decorations. Lots of trees, sites are roomy. This is a fine place to camp! WiFi was spotty. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Food delivery to campsite--so convenient!

Fairly large RV park, gravel with small grassy areas for each space, actually has a lot of trees. Short walk past horse pasture to Snake River. Would be great to spend a few days if you have watercraft, or just lounge as part of an overnight stay. Self-contained area, with Phillips 66, small store, small café. The café is a real gem. The prices! A huge fajita burrito was $4.99. A fat chicken breast sandwich was $6.99. Open all day, deliver to RV sites, offer pizza, burgers, hot sandwiches, baskets, salads, also giant ice creams. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the on-site Village Grill.

Nice park. We were fortunate to get the end spot in row F (which is the best for satellite reception). Snake river picnic area just steps away. Beautiful sunsets. Only negative is the wifi which is terrible. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Stayed a week and this location is central to Twin Falls area for Shoshone Falls to the west, American Falls to the east and City of Rocks to the south, which is a must see for the scenery and to watch the climbers.

Very nice park with trees and grass which was great for dog walking. Right on the snake river. As others mentioned you can order food and they deliver it to your RV. We got a pizza and it was pretty good. Friendly and helpful owners. Others have mentioned the highway noise but it's far enough away and wasn't an issue for us at all. Not like some parks that really are right on the highway. Highly recommend and we would stay here again. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't miss City of Rocks NR. Was a real treat!

This was an older park but very nicely maintained. Their are some older trailers in the park, but they were very well keep. The shade trees are awesome and a lot of them. A large picnic and play area that is all grass and Sites were wide with grass. Cable worked good and staff was very friendly. I would stay here again. Nice park with lots of grass around the perimeter for walking the dogs. A little strange that you check in at the gas station, but there's a first for everything! Nice short walk down to the river, good place to watch the sunset in the little park at the boat ramp. We stayed one night on our way elsewhere and really liked this park. The pool (we didn't use it, just looked at it) is tiny, but if you have kids, I think wet is wet for them! We would stay here again on our way through. The park seems very well maintained overall. One thing that concerned me, they were spraying for weeds in the RV sites (they are gravel) along the edges and inside the sites where RVs were parked. Having dogs that need to be walked, it is dangerous to have weed killer on their paws. So I had to wait until the weed killer dried, then took the dogs out for a walk and wiped their feet before coming back in. Not sure how they would rectify that, other than posting signs all over or maybe cones that said they were using chemicals? I don't know, but for pets and I am sure some sensitive people, that could be an issue. Something I have never encountered before and cause me to wonder! We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Staff (at the store) very nice.

Showers were wonderful.

River nearby.

Site was level with some shade.

Highway noise, but you can tune that out.

The sites are not spacious but are very well kept up and are neat.

Our site faced the grassy area and had trees for shade, so we had a nice view from our outside sitting area.

Big play area and a place for dogs.

Easy to find this park - right off the highway. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The store and restaurant stay open until 9 pm - and they will deliver food to your camp site :)

The showers were free and were the best we found on our cross-country trip.

We stayed overnight as we traveled east. The park was clean and roads were gravel. The sites are on lawn and not too level. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The grass is very green since the sprinklers are running most of the time we were there. Nearby is a walking trail from the campground to the Snake River which has a launching ramp and picnic area. They even have an on site restaurant that delivers your food right to your site. The burgers were very good. All in all this is a nice campground and we will stay here again. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.
