nice park with quite a few amenities - pool, laundry, bath houses, pet friendly, big rig friendly, picnic table at each site, FHU, pull thrus, playground for the kids. Second pool has a water slide and costs extra. Our site was not overly long but truck fit sideways, gravel site that was level. Trees for shade and grass between sites. Good Sam, AAA, AARP discounts offered. Only negative for us was that the park WiFi didn't work and our Verizon MiFi was weak. AT&T phone worked well. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Pros: Easy to get to from the interstate, reservation process was good, Nice sites in the back of the park, level sites, nice grassy patch for each site, shade trees, electric and water worked fine, sites weren't that narrow, internal roads were O.K. for a larger rig. We would stay here again.

Cons: Signage for main check-in area isn't very good, Noise from the interstate (although it wasn't bad), no cable (but antenna picked up quite a few local stations), showers and restrooms weren't that clean, wi-fi didn't work very well (but I did get reception from my AT & T cell phone)

Tips: Get a site in the back of the park as then you don't hear the interstate noise as much. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you want a little road trip, do see Craters and Moon National Monument and stop by at the Shoshone Ice Caves, both are worth seeing.

This was an okay place to stay for an overnight. We were on our way home from Yellowstone. There was a lot of noise from the highway. The site was shaded but narrow. The kids had fun at the water slide (they charge extra for it). There were questionable people hanging around the store and pool that made me uncomfortable. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Our site was level, shady & well-maintained. The laundry area contained 4 washers and 4 dryers and was clean. The water pressure was a little low in the laundry area so the wash took longer than usual. There was no warm water in the shower so after one cold shower I didn't try again. There is a Sinclair gas station on site with gas, diesel, and propane. Overall, a good overnight stay. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Motorhome.

Roads are dirt and narrow. Most sites are too short for my 40' 5th wheel. Initial site that I was assigned was shorter than the RV. Replacement site was barely long enough (truck parked elsewhere) and required tricky maneuvering to get it parked. Dreading trying to get out tomorrow morning. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If your rig is under 35' these sites are large enough. If your rig is 40' or over avoid staying here.

Stayed here for one night. Had a pull through site #64 in the back to avoid trees interfering with the sat dish. A little tricky to get level but all in all, a nice little park for a decent price. Good wifi and a nice little snack bar/office/store. Friendly staff.

Would definetly stay here again. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed this park the first time we stayed here and were just as satisfied this time. The site we had only needed a little front to back leveling; the shade, grass, tables and centered hookup 'island' are well thought out and organized. The large grass field invited the dogs to run and play and the pool had the same effect on their owners. This is a great place to relax. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Unhook and visit Shoshone Falls; read about Astor's overland party and apply the history to the area.

Very friendly employees, and clean park - we were in the back and parked on the grass, nice trees all around. Just an overnighter but enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommend. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here before. It is a lovely park, lots of beautiful trees, level sites that are easy to access. The staff is helpful. We will return again. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

A good place for families. Good for one nighters.

We have stayed here before and it's right off I-84 so the road noise seemed to be more than we remembered (and we are in the last row). Some sites are pretty hard to get level (and we had that note from last time too from a couple of years ago). We are a big rig with tow and in the last row, which we like best. Interior roads are a bit narrow but not serious. There is a big grassy field across from the last row that our dog loved to run and play in after riding all day. Nice playground if you have children. There are some permanent folks here but for the most part they are in a separate section. We would stay here again as we pass through ID. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Motorhome.

Great grassy area for pets to run after a long day on the road. People were friendly and pick your own spot. There was a little traffic noise but not bad. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here twice in the past few years as an overnight. It has a lovely grassy area that is open for people to play and play with their dogs. The sites are not level and are dirt with grass but basically a great RV park for a couple of days while going cross country. We will use it again if we are in the area. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Motorhome.

Nightly rate reflects extra charge for 2 people. Easy access off highway. Minimal highway noise. WiFi is very good. Most sites are pull-though and very long. Interior roads are gravel/dirt and somewhat narrow. Geothermal swimming pools, one with waterside (costs extra) as well as a 18 hole mini-golf which also costs extra. Playground for kids. Laundry room was small but adequate. Has a small snack bar with a large seating area. Very shady. Has large open, grassy area in back of campground that is great for dogs. We were the only ones there so dogs got to run off leash and enjoy soft, green grass. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Motorhome.

A very nice campground with lots of amenities as noted by the previous reviewers. The rate reflects Good Sam discount plus tax. Sites are gravel, level, and long enough for our 40' RV and tow vehicle. Easy on and off the freeway, with very little freeway noise. We will stay here again if passing through this way. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Motorhome.

This is a pleasant place to stay with wide, level pads, green grass all around and nice open spaces for dog walking. The freeway noise was minimal. The interior roads are dirt and not very wide which made getting into our site a bit difficult. There are nice shade trees – we didn’t try our satellite so I don’t know if they would have interfered. The Wi-Fi worked very well. The laundry worked well and was reasonably priced. The bathrooms and showers that I used were very old, but seemed clean enough. I was glad it did not rain while we were there, because of the dirt roads. We camped at Anderson Camp in a Fifth Wheel.
